NATO Evaluates Turkey’s Position Following Report on Alleged Links to Hamas and Muslim Brotherhood

0

EXCLUSIVE FROM FOX: A newly released report has spotlighted Turkey’s evolving role in the Middle East, suggesting that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has pivoted the nation away from its longstanding Western alliances. Instead, Turkey appears to be moving toward stronger connections with Islamist factions, notably the Muslim Brotherhood.

The analysis, conducted by the Foundation for Defense of Democracies and spearheaded by senior fellow Sinan Ciddi, is titled “Islamist Domination of Turkey: A Forward Base for Muslim Brotherhood-Aligned Jihadism.” The report highlights Turkey’s links with Hamas—a group designated by the U.S. as a terrorist organization, particularly in the wake of the October 7 attacks—as well as the Muslim Brotherhood, which has seen some of its affiliates recently classified as terrorist entities by the United States. These ties are drawing increased scrutiny as Turkey gears up to host an upcoming NATO summit.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, Ciddi explained that this shift represents a significant change in Turkey’s perception of threats.

“Turkey has essentially rewritten its understanding of what constitutes a jihadist terrorist entity,” Ciddi noted. “Under Erdoğan, the definition of a terrorist organization has been transformed. Groups like Hamas and al-Nusra now align with his broader pan-Islamist perspective.”

Hamas presence draws scrutiny

A central focus of the report is Turkey’s relationship with Hamas, which the United States designates as a terrorist organization, and yet Hamas expanded its presence in Turkey after 2011, establishing offices and networks inside the country.

“From 2011 onward … Hamas used this opportunity inside of Turkey with a friendly government to establish offices, engage in recruitment (and) fundraising,” Ciddi said.

U.S. authorities have taken action against some of those networks. The Treasury Department has designated Hamas-linked individuals and entities operating in Turkey, a point Ciddi said underscores longstanding concerns.

“The United States Treasury has been tracking and designating Hamas-affiliated NGOs and individuals inside of Turkey,” he said.

The report also alleges that some Hamas operatives have been able to travel using Turkish-issued documents and that senior figures have been publicly received by Erdoğan.

Beyond Hamas, the report describes Turkey as a hub for Muslim Brotherhood figures from across the region, including Egypt and Yemen, many of whom relocated there following crackdowns in their home countries.

Across parts of the Arab world, the Muslim Brotherhood has been banned or restricted for years.

Egypt outlawed the movement in 2013, accusing it of inciting unrest and undermining state institutions. Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates later designated it a terrorist organization, describing it as a threat to national stability, while Bahrain adopted a similar stance.

Jordan dissolved its local chapter this year following arrests authorities said were linked to illicit weapons activity.

Some European countries also have taken steps targeting networks linked to the movement.

Austria, for example, has pursued legal action against individuals and organizations it says are connected to Brotherhood-linked activity as part of its counter-extremism policies.

Officials in these countries have argued that the Brotherhood operates through a mix of religious outreach, political activism, charitable organizations and media platforms to influence public opinion and challenge state authority.

Syria policy and sanctions questions

The report also examines Turkey’s role in Syria, where the country backed opposition forces during the civil war, supporting a range of armed factions, including groups that later formed the Syrian National Army.

“The Syrian National Army … was a hodgepodge collection of militias that Turkey directly armed, paid and organized,” he said.

The report links Turkish support to groups such as al-Nusra and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham, raising questions among analysts about whether such ties could expose Turkish officials to potential sanctions under U.S. law.

Trump meets with Erdogan

A balancing act with Washington

Despite these concerns, other analysts say Turkey’s relationship with the United States continues to act as a constraint on its behavior, while the relationship between Donald Trump and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has been characterized by renewed trust, with Trump praising Erdoğan’s role in Gaza diplomacy.

As Trump celebrated the Gaza ceasefire agreement in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt in October 2025, he singled out one leader for extraordinary praise — Erdoğan, whose leadership he credited for helping deliver the Gaza ceasefire.

“A guy who’s been a friend of mine for a long time. I don’t know why I like the tough people better than the soft, easy ones,” Trump said about Erdoğan at the Sharm el-Sheikh summit in October 2025. “This gentleman from a place called Turkey is one of the most powerful in the world … He’s a tough cookie — but he’s my friend.”

Hişyar Özsoy, a Turkish politician and academic, described the relationship between Erdoğan and Trump as “transactional,” noting Washington often relies on Turkey for regional coordination.

In a policy webinar hosted by the Jerusalem Institute for Strategy and Security, Turkish academic Hüseyin Bağcı emphasized that Ankara remains closely tied to Washington.

“The Turkish state is not interested in fighting with Israel because the Turkish government has very good relations with (the) United States of America,” he said. “You cannot be good with America and then be in conflict with Israel.”

Bağcı also suggested Turkey has at times limited Islamist actors domestically.

“Today do you hear anything about” the Muslim Brotherhood, he said. “No … because the president said stop.”

NATO ally under pressure

Turkey, a NATO member since 1952, remains a key partner for the United States, providing logistical access, military capabilities and diplomatic reach.

But Ciddi argued Turkey’s current trajectory increasingly diverges from alliance priorities.

“There is an established track record … where Turkey significantly undermines the transatlantic alliance’s core security concerns,” he said.

He pointed to U.S. sanctions on Turkish entities accused of supplying dual-use goods to Russia, as well as Ankara’s broader strategy of maintaining ties with competing powers.

Iran and regional positioning

As far as Turkey’s positioning itself amid tensions with Iran, Ciddi said Turkey is likely to favor a weakened Iranian regime rather than a complete collapse that could produce a more pro-Western government.

“A weakened Iranian regime is Erdoğan’s safest bet,” he said.

Bağcı offered a similar assessment of the rivalry.

“Iran is not an enemy of Turkey, but not necessarily its best friend. Turkey and Iran are two regional competitors,” he said.

Looking ahead

The report recommends potential U.S. policy responses, including sanctions and increased scrutiny of Turkey’s financial system, steps that could reshape relations between Washington and Ankara.

Fox News Digital reached out multiple times to the Turkish government and to the State Department for comment but did not receive a response in time for publication.

Lindsay Hubbard Unblocks Carl Radke: Latest Twist in ‘Summer House’ Drama Stirs Fan Frenzy

Lindsay Hubbard has made a notable move with her former fiancé, Carl Radke, amidst ongoing tensions within the Summer House community.

The duo, Lindsay, 39, and Carl, 41, collaborated on an Uber Eats promotion on Saturday, April 4. This campaign humorously addresses the surprising revelation that Summer House cast members Amanda Batula and West Wilson are now an item.

The video cleverly references Amanda’s estranged spouse, Kyle Cooke, who had recently remarked to the media that “Carl’s a mess” regarding the entire situation. In the lighthearted ad, Amanda offers her former flame a tissue as he feigns distress over the latest developments in Summer House.

“Is this [tissue] soft enough for you?” Lindsay quips, gently clasping Carl’s hand.

The advertisement is peppered with Summer House references, featuring a special appearance by Carl’s cherished zebra, Wesley Stripes.

The ad is full of Summer House Easter eggs, including a cameo appearance from Carl’s beloved zebra, Wesley Stripes.

“Can confirm, Carl is A MESS,” Lindsay joked in the caption.

As Summer House fans flooded her comment section, Lindsay revealed, “I unblocked him for this.”

The unblocking is a big step forward for the former couple since Carl confirmed to Us Weekly way back in February 2025 that Lindsay blocked him on all social media shortly after their split. (Carl announced he’d called off his wedding to Lindsay in September 2023.)

“I’m blocked on social media, so I’ve kind of taken that as understood,” Carl revealed at the time. “[I’ve been] blocked since the breakup.”

Meanwhile, Amanda and West stunned the Bravoverse on Tuesday, March 31, by revealing that they are dating despite both repeatedly denying any romantic chemistry. (Amanda and estranged husband Kyle split in January after four years of marriage.)

Amanda Batula Said West Wilson Wasnt Marriage Material for Ciara Miller Yet Months Before Romance

Amanda Batula appeared to be adhering to “girl code” after Ciara Miller split from West Wilson — just months before Amanda confirmed she was dating West. Amanda, 34, exclusively told Us Weekly in January that she didn’t think West, 31, was “marriage material” — at least not for Ciara, 30. When asked whether West or […]

“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” Amanda and West wrote in a joint statement. “It was never our intention to purposely hide anything. Given the complicated relationship dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”

They went on, “We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected. Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”

“As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling,” they added. “We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless. We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”

Kyle-Cooke-on-Amanda-and-West

Kyle Cooke has more to say about watching his estranged wife, Amanda Batula, move on with West Wilson. “I have real issue with a dude that manages to use his charm to get whatever he wants,” Kyle, 43, said in a Thursday, April 2, TikTok interview with Adam Glyn. “Says the right thing at the […]

The news sent shockwaves through the Bravoverse — with Summer House cast members past and present, Andy Cohen and other Bravolebrities all weighing in.

While West’s former love interest Ciara Miller has yet to comment on the controversy, Kyle assured fans he was “good” during an interview on Wednesday, April 1.

“I appreciate people checking in. I’m actually really worried about Amanda, if I’m being honest,” he said. “I talked to [Amanda] last night, and I understand people have all sorts of opinions, and I’m not justifying any behavior, but, like, from what I’m seeing, she’s getting cyberbullied.”

He went on, “I just feel bad. Amanda knows that what she did was wrong, and she’s trying to come to terms with it, but she is not [doing] well.”

Kylie Jenner Shares Heartfelt Experience with Daughter Stormi

Kylie Jenner was caught off guard when a straightforward question from her daughter stirred unexpected emotions.

The beauty mogul shared during an appearance on Kid Cudi’s Big Bro podcast that her 8-year-old daughter, Stormi Webster, recently inquired about the reason behind their family’s fame. This poignant question left Jenner reflecting deeply.

Jenner explained that their journey to fame began with the reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” which debuted when she was slightly older than Stormi is now.

“I sat her down and told her, ‘Our family started a television show when I was just a year older than you, and that’s how we became known,'” Jenner recounted. “Stormi then asked, ‘Can I watch it?’ to which I replied, ‘Of course.'”

The mother-daughter duo watched parts of the first episode together, with Jenner carefully skipping over scenes she deemed unsuitable for her young daughter.

“I was so emotional after. I don’t know what hit me, but I was weeping in my bed. I don’t know why that happened to me,” she said.

Looking back, Jenner said her mix of emotions may have been caused by seeing her younger self on screen and realizing her daughter is now the same age she was when everything started.

“I was just like maybe it’s like my daughter being the same age as I was [or] just seeing my family and I’m just feeling so grateful for all that we’ve built, but also mourning that closeness when we were all kind of living under the same roof. It was very emotional. I didn’t know it was going to hit me like that,” she said

Jenner shares Stormi and her four-year-old son Aire with Travis Scott.

“I have my family; I have my kids that I go home to that love me so much and have no idea what’s going on in this world,” she said. “They definitely keep me grounded.”

She also spoke about raising her kids in the public eye and what that could mean as they get older.

“When Stormi turns 15, I don’t know how I’m going to handle it,” Jenner said. “We don’t know how [fame] is going to affect them, and it’s really scary.”

Urgent Health Alert: Common Condition Puts Thousands of Australians at High Risk for Devastating Strokes

0
A growing number of Australians could be living with a dangerous heart condition that can cause “the worst, most devastating strokes” – and they have no clue.

Researchers are racing against time to demonstrate that this condition can be identified before it’s too late.

Atrial fibrillation (AF) is a heart rhythm disorder that increases the risk of heart failure and stroke, and has been linked to dementia.

In Australia, atrial fibrillation (AF) claims six lives daily, often presenting symptoms that are difficult to pinpoint, such as shortness of breath and an unusually fast heartbeat.

AF ranks among the most prevalent heart issues in the nation, with its occurrence among Australians aged 55 and above expected to double over the next two decades.

According to Professor Ben Freedman OAM, speaking to nine.com.au, “Once you hit 40, there’s a one in three lifetime risk of developing AF.”

Currently, over half a million Australians are diagnosed with AF, yet countless others may remain unaware of their condition until it manifests as a stroke.

“These strokes tend to be at the worst end of the spectrum, devastating strokes that incapacitate and cause people to need chronic care,” Freedman said.

“These are really the worst sort of strokes that you want to do without [and] I think we will prevent them.”

Researchers from the Heart Research Institute (HRI) including Professor Ben Freedman want to prove prove atrial fibrillation can be detected before it triggers a devastating stroke.

Despite the concerning statistics, there’s currently no national screening program for AF.

Freedman, alongside researchers from the Heart Research Institute (HRI) and the University of Sydney, is trying to change that.

They’re running the world’s largest clinical trial investigating whether systematic screening for AF can prevent stroke and so far things look promising.

More than 600 Australians aged over 70 across NSW, WA and Tasmania have already taken part in the trial.

Participants used a handheld ECG device at home to check their heart rhythm four times a day for three weeks.

A number of previously undiagnosed cases of AF have been identified; cases that likely would have remained undetected until a stroke hit, if not for trial screening.

Professor Freedman says the trial could lay the groundwork for national screening.

But the government isn’t ready take the trial screening program national yet.

“The government says ‘if you can show us you’ve got fewer strokes, and that it’s cost effective, we’ll fund it,’” Freedman explained.

“It’s not enough to be a good idea that looks as though it’ll work, you have to prove it.”

Researchers at HRI and the University of Sydney intend to do just that.

Freedman hopes to save older Aussies from debilitating strokes and save their families the emotional and financial cost of supporting that individual after a debilitating stroke.

Reducing the number of strokes caused by AF could also ease pressure on nursing homes and aged care facilities, where many stroke patients end up.

The trial will run for another three years, after which Freedman hopes the government will back a national screening program like the existing breast cancer and bowel cancer screenings.

Beloved Actress Dee Freeman of ‘The Young and the Restless’ and ‘Sistas’ Passes Away at 66 After Courageous Fight Against Cancer

Dee Freeman, a cherished presence on television screens for many years, with roles ranging from The Young and the Restless to Sistas, has passed away at the age of 66.

Her publicist, Desirae L. Benson, confirmed that Freeman succumbed to stage 4 lung cancer. The heartbreaking news was also shared by her family in a heartfelt Instagram announcement on Friday, April 3.

“With profound sadness, we share this update on behalf of her family. Dee passed away peacefully on April 2, following a courageous and fearless battle with cancer,” read the family’s poignant message, accompanying a photograph of the beloved actress.

The family expressed gratitude to those who stood by Freeman during her illness. “The outpouring of love and support blew her away. She was deeply touched by how many people cared about her,” they wrote. “We know Dee is now in heaven, continuing to be the remarkable force she always was, now with her angel wings. Rest in peace, Dee.”

Benson also paid tribute to Freeman, lauding her as “someone I truly respected and admired,” and highlighting the incredible resilience she displayed in the face of her illness.

“Even in the face of stage 4 lung cancer, she showed up with courage and dignity,” Benson wrote. “Dee had a quiet power that commanded respect without ever needing to demand it.

“Her legacy is not just in her work, but in how she made people feel — and that will stay with us forever,” she concluded.

Before launching her acting career, Freeman served six years in the United States Marine Corps — a chapter that underscored the discipline and determination she would later bring to the screen. She made her onscreen debut in a 1995 episode of the ABC sitcom Coach, per Deadline.

Over the years, Freeman built an extensive TV résumé, with appearances on Seinfeld, ER, The X-Files, Dexter, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Shameless, and NCIS: Los Angeles, among others. She also appeared in The Young and the Restless in 1997 and 2009, and led the satirical parody show Pretty the Series from 2010 to 2015.

More recently, she appeared in Tyler Perry’s Sistas in January, with her last prior credit coming in a 2022 episode of Reasonable Doubt.

Freeman is survived by her two children, Amber and Shane.

Employees at Prominent US Meatpacking Facility Set to Suspend Strike and Reopen Negotiations

0

In a significant development, employees at one of the country’s leading meatpacking facilities have decided to end their three-week strike, following JBS USA’s commitment to restart discussions. This update was shared by labor union representatives on Saturday.

The strike, which commenced on March 16, involved thousands of workers from the Swift Beef Co. plant located in Greeley, Colorado. Supported by the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 7 union, the workers were advocating for enhanced wages and improved healthcare benefits.

This labor action unfolded against a backdrop of plummeting U.S. cattle numbers, which have reached their lowest in 75 years. This decline is attributed to factors such as drought and the low prices being paid to ranchers. Concurrently, beef prices have climbed to unprecedented heights, intensifying economic concerns across the nation.

According to a union statement, employees are set to resume work on Tuesday morning, following JBS USA’s agreement to enter negotiations later in the week.

“The workforce stands united in their resolve and determination,” stated Kim Cordova, the local union president, emphasizing their ongoing commitment to the cause.

JBS USA spokesperson Nikki Richardson said the company is “preparing to resume and ramp up operations at the Greeley plant next week.”

“Our Last, Best and Final offer remains on the table,” Richardson said in an email that did not include terms. “We hope employees will have the opportunity to review and vote on it soon.”

The strike at Greeley is the first strike at a U.S. slaughterhouse since workers walked out at a Hormel plant in Minnesota in 1985. That strike lasted more than a year and included violent confrontations between police and protesters.

JBS is the world’s largest meatpacking company with a market capitalization of $17 billion. It is the top employer in Greeley, a city 50 miles (80 kilometers) northeast of Denver with a population of about 114,000 people.

The strike at Greeley was launched on accusations by union officials that management at Swift Beef Co. retaliated against workers and committed other unfair labor practices.

The union said the company had offered less than 2% more a year in wages, which is less than inflation in Colorado. JBS USA has denied any labor law violations and said its contract offer was fair.

The Greeley plant has about 6% of the total U.S. beef slaughterhouse capacity, said Abby Greiman, a livestock market adviser for industry consultant Ever.Ag.

An extended strike threatened to disrupt the industry, which could ultimately drive up prices, said Jennifer Martin at Colorado State University’s animal sciences department.

The price for 100% ground chuck beef more than doubled over the past two decades from $2.55 to $6.07 per pound, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The Colorado walkout followed the January closure of a meatpacking plant in Lexington, Nebraska, which was expected to ripple through the local economy and community. Tyson Foods cited the smaller herd and millions of dollars in expected losses this year.

JBS shares were approved for trading on the New York Stock Exchange last May despite environmental opposition and a federal probe that led to its guilty plea in October to bribing Brazilian officials for the financing it used for its U.S. expansion.

At the Greeley plant, union officials said the company tried to intimidate workers to quit the union in one-on-one meetings, union general counsel Matt Shechter said.

Tiger Woods’ Private Messages and Voicemails Surface in Public Eye

0

Tiger Woods, once a giant on the greens, found himself in a decidedly different situation last Friday. His eyes glazed over and wrapped awkwardly in a blanket, Woods sat handcuffed in the back of a police vehicle, struggling to keep his eyes open.

He seemed to be in a daze, at one point yawning widely, a gesture that might have echoed a silent cry of despair if he were fully aware of the situation’s gravity. His troubles had culminated in his arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence after his Land Rover collided with a trailer and overturned.

Woods, whose name was once a beacon of excellence in the golf world, is now equally recognized for his public downfalls. His life has been marred by a tumultuous divorce, widely-publicized infidelities, and now, a connection to Vanessa Trump, the former daughter-in-law of the president.

In light of his recent troubles, an inside source revealed to the Daily Mail that Woods has chosen a rehabilitation facility and plans to leave the country soon to begin his recovery process there.

Last week an inside source told the Daily Mail that the golfer has selected his recovery facility and will be leaving the country ‘imminently’ to begin rehab there.

His girlfriend Vanessa broke her silence to make a public show of support for him this week, sharing a picture of the couple embracing with the simple caption ‘Love you.’ But the rallying Instagram story belies a rather more complicated situation behind-the-scenes.

The source told the Daily Mail: ‘Behind the scenes, it’s been far more rocky, lots of crunch talks and ultimatums from her, “sort your s**t out or I’m gone!” But she’s sticking by him and giving him a chance to get better.’

How many chances, one might wonder, does Woods get?

At the age of 21, Woods became the youngest golfer to win the prestigious Masters title, catapulting him to acclaim and influence. In the years since, over the course of a nearly 30-year career, Woods has netted 15 more majors wins, including four more coveted Masters titles. In 2022, he was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame.

But these accolades, however glittering, are now in danger of being well and truly overshadowed not just by last week’s incident but by the fact that it is just the latest in a staggering string of sordid scandals that now trail in Woods’s wake.

He began making headlines for his extracurricular activities off the green in November 2009, when the National Enquirer alleged that the golfer was having an illicit affair with as many as 12 women and that he had a secret girlfriend, New York City club fixture Rachel Uchitel. Uchitel initially denied the report.

Around the same time in late 2009, Jaimee Grubbs, a Californian waitress, told Us Weekly that she had been having a more than two-year affair with Woods. Grubbs reportedly shared hundreds of text messages and a voicemail to Us Weekly, which purportedly included Woods saying that his wife suspected he was having an affair.

On November 27, 2009, he crashed his Cadillac Escalade outside of his Orlando, Florida home, hitting a fire hydrant and his neighbor’s tree. Woods was not charged with DUI but did get cited for careless driving and fined for $164, in addition to having four points added to his license.

Woods did not address the affair allegations at the time but did issue a statement on December 2, apologizing for ‘transgressions’ that he said let his family down, without specifying what these were.

The car crash raised eyebrows when it was reported that his then-wife Elin Nordegren used two golf clubs to break open the car’s rear window. Nordegren told police that she was using the golf clubs to help rescue Woods from the car – but many believed that she shattered the windows in sheer fury at the National Enquirer allegations.

Indeed that report was just the first of many, as multiple women came forward to allege affairs. The National Enquirer later reported that Woods admitted to having affairs with over 120 women while married to Nordegren.

The speculation grew so rabid that Woods eventually admitted to ‘rampant infidelity’ and made a televised public apology in February 2010, where he apologized to Nordegren, with whom he shares two children, and announced that he would be stepping back from competitive golf for a period.

‘I want to say to each of you simply and directly: I am deeply sorry for my irresponsible, selfish behavior. The issue involved here was my repeated irresponsible behavior,’ he said. ‘I was unfaithful. I had affairs. I cheated. What I did is not acceptable – and I am the only person to blame.’

Despite Woods’ apology and a stint in sex addiction rehab, Nordegren and Woods finalized their divorce in August 2010, with Nordegren receiving a whopping $100 million divorce settlement payout.

Meanwhile life on the course was taking a brutal toll on Woods’s physical health. He has undergone seven spinal surgeries over the years leaving him with chronic pain and an apparent dependency on pain medication.

In April 2017 he had a major spinal fusion. One month later it was surely no coincidence that he was arrested after being found unresponsive in his Mercedes-Benz, which had visible damage to its front bumper and two flat tires.

While the police reported that Woods did not have alcohol in his system at the time of the crash, he told them he had taken multiple types of prescription medicine, including Vicodin, Dilaudid, Xanax, Ambien and THC.

He was charged with a DUI, but the charge was later dropped as part of a plea deal that saw him plead guilty to reckless driving instead. Following his arrest, Woods checked into a clinic to get help with his apparent dependency on pain medication, which he said had relied on for pain management after his back surgeries and a sleeping disorder.

But Woods’s trouble with cars was far from over. In February 2021 he crashed for a third time, plowing his SUV into the median divide while speeding in Los Angeles, before hitting a tree and flipping over. This time, Woods incurred significant injuries to his right leg and ankle with his bone breaking through the skin, requiring emergency surgery. He did not face any criminal charges.

The golf great flipped his Land Rover clean onto its side during his recent accident

The golfer’s romantic life after his split from Nordegren has proven to be every bit as troublesome as his driving. In March 2023 Erica Herman, filed two lawsuits against Woods. The couple had split the previous year after dating for five years.

In one lawsuit, Herman asked to be removed from the non-disclosure agreement that she had signed in 2017, when they first became romantically involved, citing the Speak Out Act, which nullifies NDAs in cases of sexual assault or harassment.

Herman alleged that Woods sexually harassed her while she was working at his Florida restaurant and also alleged that he pursued a sexual relationship with her, then made her sign an NDA. Claims that Woods denied. Her request was rejected by a judge.

Herman’s other lawsuit accused Woods of breaking an oral agreement with Woods’s trust that would have allowed her to live at one of his properties for five more years after their breakup.

Lawyers for the golfer insisted that Herman was only allowed to live on the property while she was dating Woods. Herman sued, claiming that she was owed $30 million under the Florida Residential Landlord Tenant Act.

She later dropped both lawsuits and in November 2023 retracted her allegations of harassment stating that she was ‘never a victim of sexual abuse of harassment.’

By the end of the following year, reports were circulating that Woods had begun dating Vanessa Trump. In March 2025, Woods made the relationship official the only way couples do these days, with an Instagram post that read: ‘Love is in the air and life is better with you by my side!’

But no one was by the 50-year-old’s side when he failed his sobriety test last Friday. Instead, he cast a beleaguered and diminished figure with the police report noting that he was ‘sweating profusely,’ and claiming that he had not consumed any alcohol or illegal substances.

He did, however, admit to taking ‘a few’ prescription medications and refused a urinalysis test. Police found during their search that Woods also had two hydrocodone pills, a powerful opioid, in his pocket at the time of the crash.

Woods told police he called President Donald Trump after his arrest and was later charged with DUI with property damage and a refusal to submit to lawful test.

He spent eight hours in jail before being released on bail. He has pled not guilty to the charges and has also announced that he’ll be stepping away from competitive golf ‘to seek treatment and focus on my health.’

‘I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today,’ Woods wrote in a statement on social media.

He added: ‘I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery.

‘I’m committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger and more focused place, both personally and professionally.’

It is impossible not to hear in this latest mea culpa an echo of the one he made so publicly 16 years ago when he admitted to his infidelities and shouldered all the blame for his behavior.

Because however sincere his efforts and hopes, the sad truth is Woods has been here before, many, many times.

Five Effective Standing Exercises to Quickly Flatten Apron Belly for Those Over 60

0

According to a fitness trainer, standing core exercises can be more effective than traditional gym workouts for addressing apron belly, particularly for those over 60. This issue often arises because the deep core muscles are not consistently engaged throughout daily activities. While many resort to longer gym sessions, the key lies not in the duration but in activating these muscles properly.

Through years of experience with clients in this age group, the trainer has observed that the most noticeable improvements occur when exercises teach the core to remain engaged while the body is upright. Standing exercises are particularly beneficial as they compel the abdominal muscles to stabilize the spine, support good posture, and manage movement simultaneously. In contrast to floor-based routines that isolate the core, standing exercises promote engagement during everyday activities such as walking, reaching, and balancing.

Moreover, these exercises offer the advantage of consistency. They require no special equipment or setup, making them easy to incorporate into daily routines without causing undue strain. With regular, controlled activation, the core muscles begin to tighten and adapt more swiftly than they would through sporadic gym workouts.

Standing exercises create that exact environment. They force the abdominal muscles to stabilize the spine, support posture, and control movement all at once. Unlike floor workouts that isolate the core in one position, standing movements teach the midsection to stay engaged during real-life activity: walking, reaching, and balancing.

Another major advantage involves consistency. These exercises feel accessible, require no setup, and can be done daily without strain. When the core receives that kind of frequent, controlled activation, the muscles begin to tighten and respond much faster than they do with occasional gym sessions.

The following standing exercises target the lower abs, obliques, and deep stabilizers that support the belly. Move slowly, stay tall, and focus on pulling your midsection inward during every rep. That consistent tension drives the results.

Standing Knee Drives With Pause

This movement locks in lower-abdominal activation while improving balance and coordination. I use it constantly because it teaches the core to stabilize during leg movement, which directly carries over into everyday activity. Holding the knee at the top forces the lower abs to engage deeply.

As fatigue builds, posture tends to break down. Staying tall and controlled keeps the tension where it belongs. That’s what makes this exercise effective for tightening the lower belly.

How to Do It

  • Stand tall with feet hip-width apart
  • Lift one knee toward your chest
  • Hold for 2–3 seconds
  • Keep your core tight
  • Lower slowly and alternate

Standing Cross-Body Crunch

This exercise targets the entire abdominal wall, especially the obliques that help pull the waist inward. I rely on this movement because it builds rotational strength while keeping the core under constant tension.

Controlled reps make the difference here. Fast twisting reduces effectiveness, while slow, deliberate movement forces the muscles to stay engaged. Over time, this helps tighten the sides of the midsection.

How to Do It

  • Stand tall with hands behind your head
  • Lift one knee across your body
  • Bring opposite elbow toward the knee
  • Return slowly
  • Alternate sides continuously

Standing Forward Reach With Core Brace

This movement strengthens the deep core stabilizers responsible for holding the stomach in. I include it often because it teaches the body to maintain tension while shifting forward, something the core must handle during daily movement.

Reaching forward while bracing the core forces the abdominal muscles to stabilize the spine. That sustained contraction helps rebuild the support system that flattens the belly.

How to Do It

  • Stand tall with arms extended forward
  • Tighten your core
  • Reach slightly forward from the hips
  • Return slowly
  • Repeat with control

Standing Side Bends With Control

Side bends activate the obliques and improve strength along the sides of the core. I use this movement because it helps tighten the waistline while improving control through the midsection.

Slow movement keeps the muscles under tension and prevents momentum from taking over. When performed correctly, this exercise creates a strong contraction through the entire side of the core.

How to Do It

  • Stand tall with arms at your sides
  • Slide one hand down toward your knee
  • Keep your core engaged
  • Return to center slowly
  • Alternate sides.

Standing March With Core Tightening

This final movement reinforces everything by training the core to stay engaged during continuous motion. I often finish routines with this because it builds endurance and coordination at the same time.

Each knee lift forces the core to stabilize and prevent the torso from leaning. That repeated engagement strengthens the muscles that support the stomach throughout the day.

How to Do It

  • Stand tall with feet hip-width apart
  • Lift one knee at a time
  • Keep your core tight
  • Move slowly and steadily
  • Continue alternating.

Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann’s Intensifying Divorce: Custody Battle Takes Center Stage

Kroy Biermann with Kim Zolciak

Kroy Biermann has taken a significant step in the ongoing custody battle over his four minor children with Kim Zolciak, citing her as “wholly unavailable.” This legal maneuver has prompted a judge to mandate that Zolciak undergo therapy sessions before she can reconnect with her kids.

Kim Zolciak, who has been no stranger to public attention, especially following her stint on Bravo, now finds herself embroiled in a legal saga of her own. The latest development in this contentious split is a court ruling that requires Zolciak to engage in therapy as a prerequisite to regaining contact with her children.

Kim Zolciak has found herself in the news once again. While the former Bravo star made headlines last week when she agreed to appear in court over her beau’s divorce, the latest headlines about Kim Zolciak are all about her own contentious split. A judge has ruled against Zolciak in a recent custody hearing, ordering the TV personality to get to work in therapy if she wants to see her kids.

Kim Zolciak is ordered to complete therapy before she can see her children

Kim Zolciak’s contentious custody battle with Kroy Biermann just got a little bit more intense. TMZ was the first to report that Zolciak has been ordered by a family court judge to stay away from her four minor children until she completes four mandated therapy sessions. The Georgia judge is not playing around this time, it seems.

According to the outlet, the decision came just a week after Kroy Biermann filed for full custody of the four minor children he shares with Zolciak. Biermann claims Zolciak has been spending time out of the country and has had limited contact with her four minor children. The former NFL star also noted that Zolciak had failed to complete her court-ordered therapy session. While the judge didn’t grant Biermann full custody, an order was issued for Zolciak to complete the sessions before interacting with the kids. They will reside with Biermann until Zolciak proves she’s done the work. That means she won’t be interacting with the kids until at least April 13.

Kroy Biermann and Kim Zolciak split up way back in 2023, but their divorce appears no closer to being finalized. There is no chance of reconciliation, though. The former flames seem to really despise each other.

How many kids does the former couple have?

Kim Zolciak has six children, though the judge’s orders apply only to four of them. Her eldest children, Brielle and Ariana, are adults living independently. Brielle currently resides in Atlanta with her fiancé, Billy Seidl. Ariana Biermann is currently living in New York City. She recently navigated a very public split from Hudson McLeroy.

While Zolciak brought her eldest children into her marriage from previous relationships, they were adopted by Kroy Biermann more than a decade ago. Biermann adopted both girls in 2013, shortly after marrying Zolciak. Ariana has noted that maintaining contact with Kroy is complicated due to the divorce. Brielle feels differently, maintaining a bond with her adoptive father despite the split.

The four children that Biermann and Zolciak welcomed during their marriage are still all minors. Kroy Jr. was born in 2011, followed by Kash the following year. In 2013, twins, Kaia and Kane, completed the family. Prior to the order, Biermann and Zolciak shared joint custody of the kids.

Zolciak has not issued a public statement since the court order. She did, however, issue a statement after her estranged husband sought full custody. According to TMZ, Zolciak said Biermann’s claims were false and were an attempt to defame her character. She noted she was out of the country for work, but maintained contact with the children.
