According to The Strait Times, Neo has been confirmed as a victim killed after her BMW lost control. The vehicle had struck the railings in the rail. The driver of the car was Neo’s boyfriend Ng Shea Shin. Other victims of the accident were Clarrisa Neo Li Shan and Goh Yong Zhen. Neo, who was seated in the front seat died immediately at the scene, while other passengers suffered injuries.

Following the accident, the victims were taken to Hulu Terengganu Hospital’s Forensic Unit for autopsy.

Adeline Lin, a friend, and co-founder said Neo arrived in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday for a Biomed business trip and was scheduled to leave again on Sunday. She had spoken to Neo less than an hour before the accident.

The death news has broken on Twitter and many of Neo’s colleagues are praying for her family members.

Clarissa Neo was born to a Singaporean family. The grieving members are set to travel to Malaysia after hearing about Neo’s demise.

Two people were unharmed, but one was injured in the legs. In the car, there was one man and three women.
