Buk M Buk Arrested On Murder Of Aaron Lowe  –  Salt Lake City police arrested a 22-year-old man on charges of murder for the Sept. 26 death of Utah cornerback Aaron Lowe, 21, the police department announced Sunday.

Buk is accused of shooting and killing Lowe and wounding a 20-year-old woman in the early morning hours of Sept. 26 in the Sugar House area of Salt Lake City. The woman is in critical condition after undergoing “extensive surgery,” police said.

Lowe, a sophomore cornerback from Mesquite, Texas, was the recipient of Utah’s Ty Jordan Memorial Scholarship in August. The scholarship is awarded to a student-athlete who exemplifies the inspiring qualities that Jordan displayed through his work ethic, positivity and perseverance through adversity.
