The Keller Police Department and Keller ISD immediately began an investigation.

A total of three victims have now been identified.

An arrest warrant details that one of the incidents happened on Friday, Sept. 10 and that Maus was officially placed on administrative leave and no longer had access to the building on Tuesday, Sept. 14.

The warrant goes on to detail how Maus exposed himself to a male student while in the boys’ bathroom.

Keller ISD released a statement Friday afternoon saying,

“Unfortunately, we must share with you that a Keller Middle School-Bear Creek Intermediate Band Director was arrested today and charged with indecency with a child, following a criminal investigation by the Keller Police Department (KPD). We know this is extremely upsetting, but we wanted to let you know since the local media outlets will most likely report this news soon, and may have done so already.

Our privacy policies prohibit the District from discussing personnel matters; however, we do want to assure you that Keller ISD reported this matter to law enforcement and is fully cooperating with the authorities investigation. Families of any students impacted by this situation have already received communication from the school district; but, as always, if your student ever expresses that they feel unsafe in any way at school, please contact us. If your student shares specific information that you believe is related to this case, please notify KPD right away.

Jed Maus worked as a Band Director in the Keller ISD school in Texas. He has recently been arrested for his indecency activities and for physically abusing his students.

Reporter Amy Hudak of WPXI tweeted, “According to the complaint, a witness was overhead at the hospital saying “we should have just let him die.” They describe a very volatile relationship between Pryor and Briston. Witnesses said to police he “always had his hands all over her.”

Authorities told NBC News they responded to a call from a hospital for a male stabbing victim who had walked in at about 4:30 a.m and are now investigating the incident. Allegheny County District Attorney’s Office then confirmed the stabbing victim was Pryor.

ESPN Reporter Josina Anderson tweeted out a positive update early Saturday afternoon. Journalists Maria Ressa and Dmitry Muratov have been awarded with the Nobel Prize in Peace for the year 2021. They have been awarded the prize for their considerate efforts to protect freedom of speech and expression, vital preconditions for successful democracy and maintaining peace. Maria Ressa is the Chief Operating Officer of a Philippines based newspaper-  Rappler while Andreyevich Muratov is editor-in-chief of the Russian Newspaper Novaya Gazeta.

“Maria Ressa and Dmitry Muratov awarded the 2021 Nobel Peace Prize are representatives of all journalists who stand up for this ideal in a world in which democracy and freedom of the press face increasingly adverse conditions,” said the Nobel Peace Prize Committee chair Berit-Reiss-Andersen while announcing the award. The Norwegian Nobel Committee seemed convinced with the fact that freedom of expression and freedom of information help in keeping people well-informed and are important prerequisites for a stable democracy.

Alex’s mom then gave me my clothes I had left there, then Jason, dad, and I got in the truck. Jason let me ride shotgun. When we got in, dad handed me the AUX cord.

” You wanna play some music?” He asks.

“Sure.” I say.

I sang along then when the song ended, dad turned off the radio.

” You sing so good, how come you mother hasn’t taken you to any record labels?” He asks.

“Guess she didn’t want to or think I had what it takes.” I say.

I smile.

I put my stuff away and walked into the bathroom.

“I just got off the phone with you mom and she is gonna give up her parental rights.” He says.
