Unveiled: The Surprising Truth Behind Government Spending Habits

0
A shocking report is blowing the lid on where government funding, meant for vulnerable Queensland children, is really being spent.

Queenslanders are seeing a hefty price tag attached to the care of vulnerable children, with the bill climbing to millions annually. The troubling details were unveiled in a report by KPMG, commissioned by the Child Safety Inquiry, which highlighted the lack of proper oversight and regulation among some care providers in the state.

Over the past ten years, expenditure on residential care has surged from $200 million to a staggering $1.1 billion. Without significant reforms, projections indicate this figure could skyrocket to an alarming $7 billion by 2030.

Adding to the concern, it has been discovered that certain CEOs of these care organizations are drawing exorbitant salaries, ranging from $400,000 to $679,000 annually. This revelation underscores the urgent need for regulatory reform to ensure that funds are directed towards improving the welfare of the over 2,300 vulnerable children relying on these services in Queensland.

Without reform that’s expected to balloon even further, to $7 billion by 2030.

Some company CEOs were found to be paying themselves excessive salaries, some between $400,000 to $679,000 a year.

In one instance, a top executive took home 21 per cent of the overall revenue, with all the money coming from the government.

Instead of funding vital care for children, the report found one provider spent $340,000 on luxury items including $242,000 on gold, $100,000 on cryptocurrency and two Mercedes Benz cars.

“It’s just beggars belief how that can happen,” child protection reformist Hetty Johnston told 9News.

“What we want now is action. What we don’t want now is just to wait for another set of inquiry, recommendations to come down and then wait for the government to respond.”

What’s shocking is that 68 per cent of operators are unlicenced and one of those organisations received nearly $34 million in funding last financial year.

These findings will now play a vital role in the final two weeks of the Child Safety Commission of Inquiry , starting on Tuesday.

Recommendations will be handed down on May 22.

Discover Why ‘XO, Kitty’ Star Sang Heon Lee Celebrates Min Ho’s Transformative Journey in Season 3

In the third season of XO, Kitty, the characters stand on the threshold of adulthood. As they approach their senior year at KISS, Kitty (Anna Cathcart), Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee), Yuri (Gia Kim), and their friends grapple with the challenges of charting their future paths.

This season unfolds with Kitty and Min Ho finally clarifying their feelings and embarking on a romantic relationship, much to the delight of fans. Meanwhile, Min Ho navigates the complexities of managing Eunice’s burgeoning music career and seeks to carve out his own niche in the music industry, distinct from his father’s shadow.

**Warning: Major spoilers for XO, Kitty Season 3 ahead!**

However, when Eunice decides to step away from her music career, Min Ho faces a turning point, pondering his next steps. Although Kitty’s decision to enroll at NYU initially presents a challenge, it also ignites a drive within Min Ho to pursue his own ambitions. His journey of self-discovery may surprise viewers.

“I would say he finally found his way of deciding what he really wants,” Lee shared in a recent interview with DECIDER. “He finally trusts his heart and sort of leads with it. … I’m very proud of him.”

It’s a delight to see Kitty and Min Ho finally be together after two long seasons. Though they hit some bumps on the way, they come out on the other side even stronger when Min Ho offers to join Kitty on her adventure, this time – back home to Portland.

Lee said this move was “needed” in their relationship. “You have to consider that Kitty flew from another country and is just mostly trying to adapt and survive in Korea where she’s surrounded by different cultures,” he pointed out, adding that she is “very welcoming” of the culture shock. “Eventually, hopefully, if there’s another season, Min Ho gets to see what Kitty’s life was and sort of have a deeper understanding without actually hearing it from Kitty herself. And hopefully that sort of deeper connection sort of connects them both in a romantic way.”

Decider chatted with Lee about Min Ho’s future with Kitty, working with Lana Condor, and playing a heartthrob in Jenny Han’s universe.

DECIDER: I would love to start off by hearing about what you thought of Min Ho’s arc this season, both in terms of his relationship with Kitty and also in this career that he’s built for himself.

SANG HEON LEE: Well, I would say he finally found his way of deciding what he really wants instead of dwelling on things or trying to figure out what’s right and what’s wrong. He finally trusts his heart and sort of leads with it. I could see the passion and hopefully others characters saw that as well and sort of understand that he has this as well, that he is this sort of person. Well, at least I see him that way. So I’m very proud of him.

We didn’t see as much of his father this season, but we saw quite a bit of their relationship and how much it’s changed. What did you think of his relationship with his father?

I don’t necessarily think that he feels like he needs to keep this good relationship with his father. It seemed like he now sort of realizes, ‘My dad, he could be quite harsh sometimes.’ But there are some points where he realized, ‘I need to put my foot down. You know what? At this point, my friends come first. My lovers come first. My people actually, who care about me, and I care about them, they come first.’ It’s not like he doesn’t give a shit. It’s more like he just has priorities with people now. And so I wouldn’t necessarily say that the relationship got better or worse. It’s just the way how it is. But I would say he has a better threshold. […] I could sense that he got stronger from Season 1.

I loved seeing the scenes that you shared with Lana [Condor] as well. Could you talk a little bit about what it was like getting to work with her? Did you expect to work with her or have a shared scene with her at all?

No, I did. I think she was really cool, to be honest. That’s how I felt on the day. I mean, she’s talented, she’s professional. She brought the energy on set. I was happy to see Ana and Lana be like real sisters on set. It was a touching moment, really. It was just a nice thing to see.

What did you think of the season finale? We get to see Min Ho’s on his way to go see Kitty’s world for a change. What did you think of that?

I think it’s sort of needed. You have to consider that Kitty flew from another country and is just mostly trying to adapt and survive in Korea where she’s surrounded by different cultures. She’s very welcoming. However, there are some challenges or there are things that she does not understand. Min Ho, obviously, is very confident and he just feels more settled. […] He hasn’t been in someone else’s life, in someone else’s shoes or someone else’s hometown. Eventually, hopefully, if there’s another season, Min Ho gets to see what Kitty’s life was and sort of have a deeper understanding without actually hearing it from Kitty herself. And hopefully that sort of deeper connection sort of connects them both in a romantic way.

Do you have any hopes for the next season? Maybe any hopes for Kitty and Min Ho’s relationship, or what Min Ho might do?

I’ll be honest. I sort of do. I just want my character to graduate. You know, it just feels more like a bow on a box, you know, like, Min Ho’s finally graduated. Yay. It just feels more right. I do wonder how, from the Season 3 finale, I want to see what Season 4 can start like. I’m very much curious on how it will become. […] It would be nice if everyone just graduates. We could see Kitty graduate. We could see the whole like, an era of her spending time in Korea sort of ending.

We saw you work with Noah Centineo in previous seasons, and you kind of had big shoes to fill as like the next love interest in the Jenny Han universe. I’d love to hear about your perspective of playing like a male love interest, especially on this show and especially for such a big series, if you have any thoughts on that.

Not particularly. Well, okay, I can’t say that I didn’t see any of that. I will see people saying the whole like MoonCovey thing. Personally for me, I get very defensive when […] it comes to anything good. Like there’s good news coming in or someone complimenting my work. I’ll be like, okay, thanks. I guess it’s nothing. […] It’s very endearing and I just very, you know, I really appreciate how people see it that way. But again, as a cast, though, there is a lot of us, every if you see closely, everyone’s having that sort of love drama relationship going through. So I wouldn’t say I’m, or Min Ho is the only spotlight there. There’s plenty of other people out there. But again, it’s very touching.

Louisiana Tragedy: Vehicle Plows into Crowd, Injuring 13 in Shocking Accident

0

At least 13 individuals were injured when a vehicle plowed into a crowd at the Louisiana Lao New Year Festival on Saturday, according to local authorities.

In a statement, the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office confirmed they are investigating the incident where a vehicle hit several pedestrians during the festival’s parade.

“A number of people have sustained injuries, and some of these injuries are believed to be serious,” the sheriff’s office reported.

Acadian Ambulance announced on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, that they had transported 11 patients via ground ambulance and two patients by air.

Authorities stated that the driver involved is now in custody. This unfortunate event took place during celebrations marking the Buddhist New Year at the Louisiana Lao New Year Festival.

Officials said the incident does not appear to be an intentional act based on a preliminary investigation.

“Sharon and I are praying for all those affected, and are grateful for the first responders who have responded to the scene,” Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry said in a post on X.

Dodgers’ Roki Sasaki Unveils Mysterious Third Pitch Without a Name

0

WASHINGTON –– There’s a new pitch on the horizon that has yet to be christened with a name.

This innovative technique is still seeking its identity.

Since the onset of this year’s spring training, Roki Sasaki has been honing a new third pitch to enhance his fastball and splitter combination. This addition is pivotal for the Dodgers’ rising star, even though its characteristics are still being perfected.

The pitch exhibits qualities of a breaking ball, showcasing right-to-left movement paired with a sharp vertical drop.

Simultaneously, it’s an off-speed pitch, reaching speeds in the upper 80s mph, creating a stark contrast to his blazing fastball that often touches the upper 90s.

When Sasaki debuted it in regular-season play for the first time last week, MLB’s Statcast system originally tagged it as a cutter.

But upon a check Saturday afternoon –– ahead of Sasaki’s next outing Sunday against the Nationals –– it’d been reclassified as a slider on the league’s official stats page.

“I think the name will change depending on how much it breaks,” Sasaki said in Japanese this spring. “Personally, I just want to be able to throw it comfortably without it affecting my current pitching motion.”

To that end, the Dodgers have given Sasaki mental cues, instructing him to think like he’s throwing a cutter even if the pitch has more slider-esque movement.

That doesn’t mean, however, people around the team have settled on exactly what to call it.

Sometimes it’s a slider. Sometimes it’s a cutter. And sometimes, it’s an unintentionally-NSFW mash-up of both. (Not a slurve, but…)

“I’m not sure,” manager Dave Roberts laughed when asked what the team’s official term for it is.

“We haven’t seen it enough to know how we’re gonna treat it,” echoed catcher Dalton Rushing.

“Honestly,” pitching coach Mark Prior added, “it depends on the day.”

Alas, Sasaki’s new pitch doesn’t need a specific name –– just as long as it serves a specific purpose.

The right-hander could’ve benefited from a more consistent third alternative last year, when his fastball velocity was down, his splitter command was wild, and he stumbled to a 4.72 ERA in eight rookie-season starts.

Some of that, of course, was due to a shoulder injury that eventually landed the 24-year-old on the injured list. When he returned for the playoffs in the bullpen, his primary two weapons were enough to navigate a relief role.

But now, Sasaki is back in the rotation despite a disastrous spring training, and again battling command issues in his continued transition to the majors.

Enter the new third pitch, which proved surprisingly effective in his first start of the campaign.

“It was a big step forward,” said Rushing, who was behind the plate for the four-plus-inning, one-run performance against the Cleveland Guardians last Monday.

In that outing, Sasaki still lacked much control. His fastball was over the plate on less than half of 38 throws. Only one of his 18 splitters wouldn’t have been a called ball. And if not for an overly-aggressive Cleveland offense, he almost certainly would’ve finished with more than two walks.

However, the cutter/slider/whatever helped give him balance. It clipped the zone 13 of the 22 times Sasaki used it. It also got four whiffs on 12 swings, only really getting squared up once when Steven Kwan hit a center-cut mistake for a double.

“He’s still gonna be meat-and-potatoes with four-seam and split,” Prior said. “But (the third pitch) has honestly been a pretty decent pitch for him, even in spring training  … He seems to have a good idea of where it’s going. He can throw it to get back into counts.”

That latter point is the most crucial one.

Whereas last year, Sasaki toyed around with a big-breaking sweeper that averaged almost a foot of horizontal break, his new pitch is more of a “gyro” or “bullet” slider, spiraling out of his hand almost like a quarterback throws a football.

It has less break, moving only a couple inches to his glove side. It has little spin, similar to his fork-ball splitter that practically knuckles to the plate. Yet, it appears to be easier to locate, giving him a more deceptive option with which to challenge hitters.

“The more he throws it in the zone,” Rushing said, “it makes his fastball much better.”

Last year, Sasaki and the Dodgers learned what happened when opposing hitters could sit on his fastball. Thanks in part to its flat shape, opponents slugged .500 against it.

The return of Sasaki’s velocity should help with that. Better command will also make his heater a more potent pitch.

But for now, the new third offering at least gives him something different –– even if it still lacks a designated name.

“We’ll see what the game ultimately tells us as we get more sample size, if there needs to be an adjustment in how we use it,” Prior said. “But right now, whether it’s (because it’s) limited on the opposing team’s radar, or actually comes out of the hand where it effectively gives him some separation and goes the other direction, it’s serving its purpose.”

NYC Mayor Points to Gun Access in Tragic Infant Death Case

0

In the wake of a tragic incident in Brooklyn, New York City’s Mayor Zohran Mamdani has pointed to the pervasive issue of gun violence as a central cause of the heartbreaking death of a seven-month-old baby. Rather than focusing on the individuals behind the crime, Mayor Mamdani emphasized the broader crisis of firearms in the city.

During a press conference held on Wednesday, the 34-year-old mayor spoke passionately about the need for change, lamenting the loss of young life in the city. “We cannot accept it as normal in our city. We cannot grow numb to this pain,” he stated, underscoring the profound impact of gun violence. “Today is a devastating reminder of just how much more work there is to be done to combat gun violence across the city.”

Expressing the sorrow felt by many, Mamdani continued, “Too many children have never grown up into becoming adults. Too many parents have had to bury those they love most.” His words reflect a call to action against a backdrop of ongoing violence.

In connection with the tragic death of baby Kaori Patterson-Moore, law enforcement has arrested Amuri Greene, 21, and Matthew Rodriguez, 18. These arrests mark a significant step in seeking justice for the young victim and her family.

Since her death, Amuri Greene, 21, and Matthew Rodriguez, 18, have been arrested in connection to Patterson-Moore’s murder.

Greene  was charged with three counts of murder on Friday. Rodriguez was taken into custody in Pennsylvania on Friday evening. His charges are pending.

Councilwoman Vickie Paladino, who represents Queens, slammed the mayor for focusing on the wrong thing.

‘Literally anything but blaming the criminals who our system releases onto our streets repeatedly, over and over again, with no consequences,’ she wrote on X.

‘Absolute disgrace.’

Patterson-Moore was shot dead while parents Jamari Patterson, 22, and Lianna Moore, 20, and brother, Kaizen, were strolling through Brooklyn on Wednesday afternoon.

The parents had been taking their kids to buy baby supplies when the shooting happened around 1.20pm.

They had originally thought someone had set off fireworks, which had caused her son to hop out of the stroller.

The family fled into a nearby bodega before Moore noticed her daughter’s head was bleeding, surveillance footage obtained by the New York Post showed.

As she screamed in terror, the father of her two children grabbed their daughter and carried her to Woodhull Hospital seven blocks away, ‘all while her blood [ran] on his hands,’ the mother said on social media.

While at the hospital, it was discovered that little Kaizen had also suffered from a bullet graze. The bullet had hit his back after passing through his sister. It left a lump on his back.

Police sources told The Post that the stray bullet may have been intended for the girl’s father. Additional sources confirmed to The New York Daily News that police were investigating whether the shooting was gang-related, which has been denied by Patterson-Moore’s mother.

Patterson, an aspiring rapper, allegedly had complications with a crew from a rival housing project over social media, sources told The Post.

Patterson lives at the Bushwick Houses public housing project while Greene is said to live at Marcy Houses, another public housing unit with a long-running feud with Bushwick Houses, sources told The Post.

Police believe the shooting was gang-related and are investigating whether the shooter was aiming for Patterson, who is allegedly linked to the Money Over Everything gang, the New York Daily News reported.

Moore, however, denies that her fiancé has ties to gangs, writing on social media: ‘The police say anything to put things together fast to piece sum [sic] together.’

The mother-of-two said her ‘babies were always protected,’ and said the accusations are ‘insensitive and disturbing.’

‘God don’t like ugly,’ she wrote. ‘I’m grieving my baby girl, god has something for you cs [sic] ya ugly and disturbed mentally.’

The mother-of-two now wants a remedy for her daughter’s death.

‘I want justice,’ Moore said. ‘They deserve to stay in jail, and they don’t deserve to come out after what they did to my baby, because I can’t get her back.’

Animated Series Pays Homage to Dark Knight Returns

0

Frank Miller, Klaus Janson, and Lynn Varley’s “The Dark Knight Returns” stands as a quintessential Batman comic, setting the bar high for sophisticated reinterpretations of the iconic superhero’s adventures. Yet, this legendary work didn’t deter “Batman: The Animated Series” from crafting its own version, a decision that garnered Miller’s enthusiastic endorsement.

The homage is featured in “Legends of the Dark Knight,” the 19th episode of “The New Batman Adventures,” which serves as a sequel to “Batman: The Animated Series.” Within this episode, Carrie Kelley, voiced by Anndi McAfee, envisions herself as the Robin to an older Batman, portrayed by Michael Ironside, as they combat Gotham City’s Mutant gang. This segment is a direct nod to the narrative found in “The Dark Knight Returns.”

Bruce Timm, co-creator of the show, shared that Miller was thrilled with the episode. In “Modern Masters Volume 3: Bruce Timm” (via /Film), Timm recalled, “After I sent [Miller] the show, he called three times to discuss it with me. He was ecstatic. Each voicemail he left was longer than the last, raving about the adaptation. ‘Wow, I just watched it again,’ and Lynn [Varley] was overjoyed, exclaiming, ‘Oh, my God! There’s Carrie Kelley!’”

Beyond this animated tribute, “The Dark Knight Returns” was also brought to life in a two-part animated film. Additionally, director Zack Snyder drew inspiration from it for his portrayal of Ben Affleck’s Batman in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

Zack Snyder wants to do a live-action version of The Dark Knight Returns

In truth, Snyder seems ideally suited to helm such an adaptation. His cinematic style, characterized by dark and intense themes, mirrors the grim and violent essence of “The Dark Knight Returns,” a narrative that underscores the impossibility of Gotham ever becoming a utopian city—a theme that resonates deeply in Snyder’s filmography.

Snyder has never been shy about his love of the source material either. In fact, while discussing the 10-year anniversary of “Batman v Superman” with “Happy Sad Confused” podcast, Snyder admitted that’s one comic book movie he’d still like to do. “I would still make ‘The Dark Knight Returns’ as a film if that opportunity arose,” he said. “Did I steal, or borrow, or homage as much as I could within the context of the mythology that I was creating? Yes. But the thing about ‘Dark Knight Returns’ is it is a closed loop of awesomeness that owes nothing to anything except for a masterful deconstruction of gods that we all grew up with.”

Truth be told, Snyder would be a perfect director. On top of knowing who he’d want to star in his adaptation, “The Dark Knight Returns” is a grim and violent affair that proves Gotham will never turn into a beacon of sunshine, which is in line with the narratives and themes found in Zack Snyder’s movies.

American Legion Post 145 Organizes Fourth Annual Walk to Raise Awareness on Veteran Suicide

BRISTOL, Tenn. (WJHL) – On Saturday morning, the American Legion Post 145 organized its fourth annual walk to raise awareness about veteran suicide as part of its ‘Be The One’ initiative.

The ‘Be The One’ program is a crucial effort by the American Legion aimed at combating veteran suicide. It focuses on educating people on how to support veterans by checking in with them, listening to their concerns, and providing help when they face challenges.

The walk covered a distance of 2.2 miles, representing the alarming statistic that approximately 22 veterans die by suicide each day, according to event organizers. Participants began their journey at Marion Street, proceeded along Martin Luther King Blvd., and made a stop at the Bristol Veteran’s Memorial.

Paul Federow, a veteran of the Vietnam era, shared with News Channel 11 his reasons for joining the annual walk. He emphasized the importance of shedding light on the experiences of veterans like himself.

“The treatment Vietnam veterans received upon returning home, coupled with the horrific experiences they faced during the war, takes a significant mental toll,” Federow explained. “It’s vital for us to make an effort to address this issue, and participating in this event is heartening.”

American Legion Post 145 Commander, Butch Rhymer, said the event started years ago where he was among one of the walkers on the very first day it started. The event started with a handful of people, where over 60 people showed up today to walk the event.

Rhymer said the event has brought more awareness in suicide prevention as of today.

“It’s made a change, and especially in veterans’ suicide prevention,” Rhymer said. “It’s helped a whole lot. It’s just bringing awareness out to where people know some of the signs to look for and just, take care of their family members that are veterans or their friends.”

American Legion Post 145 Adjutant, Roy Davis, said from American Legion to veterans, help is available to those who are lost.

“This county has got a very high suicide rate is amongst veterans,” Davis said. “It struggles with the fact that once you’re in the military, you always have guidance. You always have something to do, some direction. When you get out of the military, you lose that.”

“We have support for people that are with struggles and have strife in their life and that we are here for anybody and anybody can come Be The One,” Davis said.

To get help through Be the One, call 9881. If you are not a veteran and in distress, call 988.

Countdown Begins: Trump Sets 48-Hour Ultimatum in Urgent US-Iran Search for Missing Pilot

0
Donald Trump has threatened “all hell will reign down” on Iran if it does not reopen the Strait of Hormuz within 48 hours, as the US races to find its missing pilot.

The President of the United States has decided to extend his initial 48-hour ultimatum to Iran, urging them to either forge an agreement or reopen the crucial waterway that was closed late last month. As the clock ticks down with less than 48 hours remaining, he has issued a stark warning that “time is running out.”

In a post on Truth Social, the President reminded the public of his previous demand, stating, “Remember when I gave Iran ten days to MAKE A DEAL or OPEN UP THE HORMUZ STRAIT.” He emphasized the urgency of the situation by declaring, “Time is running out – 48 hours before all Hell will reign down on them. Glory be to GOD! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”

In response, Iran has issued a defiant statement of its own, cautioning the United States that it is prepared to retaliate with “hell” if provoked.

“Time is running out – 48 hours before all Hell will reign down on them. Glory be to GOD! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”

Iran has responded with a threat of its own, warning the US it will return “hell”.

“Do not forget that if aggression expands the entire region will turn into a hell for you,” a spokesperson for the Iranian military’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters said.

“The illusion of defeating the Islamic Republic of Iran has turned into a swamp in which you will sink.”

Iran is showing no signs of yielding to Trump’s deadlines, raising questions about how the US will respond if the Strait of Hormuz is not reopened within 48 hours.

The US Central Command has released a video of what appears to be its military operations targeting Iran.
The footage shows munitions exploding against a black and white backdrop.

"US forces drop precision munitions on underground military targets deep inside Iran to further degrade the Iranian regime's ability to project power in meaningful ways beyond its borders," the government organisation said in a post on X.

Trump was accused of yet another TACO (Trump Always Chickens Out) moment when he backed down from his initial 48-hour deadline.

When the countdown reached its final hours, the president announced he would extend it another five days after the countries had a “very good and productive conversations regarding a complete and total resolution of our hostilities in the Middle East”.

Top Iranian politician Mohammad-Bagher Ghalibaf later denied that negotiations had been held and said the “fake news is used to manipulate the financial and oil markets and escape the quagmire in which the US and Israel are trapped”.

As the deadline looms, the US and Iran are racing against another ticking clock to find an American airman missing after an F15-E Strike Eagle fighter jet was shot down by Iran on Friday.

One member of the two-person crew was rescued but the search continues for the second.

It was one of two US military aircraft that went down after being struck by Iran. A single-crew A-10 Warhog was hit and its pilot was later rescued.

US officials have been unusually quiet about the missing airperson.

Speaking to The Independent about whether they could be harmed, Trump said: “We hope that’s not going to happen”.

Iranian officials have placed a $US60,000 ($87,000) bounty on the member’s capture, which would be an incredible coup for the country in its negotiations with the US.

It has been more than 20 years since a US military plane was shot down over enemy soil.

The last time it happened was during the US invasion of Iraq in 2003, when an Iraqi missile struck an A-10 Thunderbolt II.

The pilot in that attack ejected safely and was rescued by coalition ground forces.

Following the sharing of the images, fans took notice of Amanda’s attire, including a hat and headphones that appeared very similar, if not identical, to those worn by West, and a shirt that looked a bit like one West had previously worn.

As for the resurfaced clip of Amanda at West’s apartment, that was shared on February 28 and saw Amanda arriving at the residence with West in tow.

“This video is from February 28 in NYC,” Deuxmoi wrote in a caption of a post on Instagram. “In today’s IG Q&A a Deuxmoi reader tells us Bravo’s S’ummer House’s Amanda Batula allegedly visited West Wilson’s apartment yesterday. Per images obtained by Deuxmoi we know West was in NYC yesterday [and] per images obtained by [Page Six] Amanda was spotted in NYC today.”

As the reunion approaches later this month, rumors have been swirling in regard to whether Amanda will run and hide or face her castmates. And, according to sources who spoke to TMZ on April 3, Amanda will attend and be fully ready to answer the many questions that will surely come her way.

Summer House season 10 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
