Leading Democrat Challenges Trump to Prove Cognitive Health with Dementia Test

0
One of the most prominent Democrats in Congress has written to the White House doctor demanding Donald Trump take a cognitive test.

Concerns about the President’s mental acuity have been mounting, with experts repeatedly cautioning that he may be showing signs of cognitive decline and potential dementia, a point underscored by recent public behavior.

In the past few days, the President’s statements have become increasingly difficult to follow, marked by volatility, profanity, and even threats. This shift has sparked widespread concern across the nation and among various political factions regarding his mental fitness to continue leading the country.

In response to these growing apprehensions, Raskin has called for a thorough cognitive assessment, urging that the findings be disclosed to Congress to address the issue transparently.

The urgency of the situation was highlighted by a particularly alarming outburst, in which the President reportedly exclaimed, “Open the F—in’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell — JUST WATCH!” Such remarks only add to the anxiety about his current state of mind.

“”Open the F—in’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell — JUST WATCH!” he wrote.

Raskin also mentioned the apparent difficulty Trump had in descending the White House steps that day.

Biden, like Trump, faced numerous questions about his mental faculty in office. Trump is now the same age Biden was at this point of his presidency.

A White House spokesperson issued a statement to Courthouse News criticising Raskin.

“Lightweight Jamie Raskin is a stupid person’s idea of a smart person,” the spokesperson said.

“President Trump’s sharpness, unmatched energy, and historic accessibility stand in stark contrast to what we saw during the past four years when Democrats like Raskin intentionally covered up Joe Biden’s serious mental and physical decline from the American people.”

The 25th Amendment would require the vice president and a majority of the cabinet to determine the president is not able to do his job.

Congress would then have 48 hours to vote in support. It would take a two-thirds vote in both chambers to remove Trump.

“How do we 25th Amendment his ass?” Jones said.

“Trump literally sounds like an unhinged super villain from a Marvel comic movie.”

Trump has taken several cognitive tests in the past year, and has frequently bragged of the results.

Those tests are normally conducted in order to determine if a person has dementia.

Raskin is the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee, and rose to public prominence during Trump’s second impeachment trial as well as the investigation into the January 6 insurrection.

Coroner’s Shocking Betrayal: Pleads No Contest to Stealing Valuables from the Deceased

0

A coroner from Los Angeles has entered a no contest plea following allegations of pilfering from deceased individuals over the course of a year.

Adrian Muñoz, 36, on Friday, acknowledged one felony charge of grand theft and a misdemeanor charge of petty theft, as confirmed by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.

Pleading no contest, or nolo contendere, indicates that while Muñoz neither confirms nor denies the charges, he consents to being treated as though he is guilty for sentencing purposes, foregoing his right to a trial.

The investigation revealed footage from a surveillance camera dated January 6, 2023, capturing Muñoz removing a gold crucifix necklace from a deceased individual while attending to a case.

The incident occurred during Muñoz’s response to a case involving a warehouse employee who suffered a fatal heart attack while at work.

The footage revealed that Muñoz placed the crucifix in his medical bag but never returned it or documented it on the property receipt, prosecutors said.

Authorities then searched Muñoz’s desk and discovered rare antique coins. The receipt for the coins matched the name of a man who died on November 12, 2022.

Prosecutors discovered that Muñoz had also handled that man’s death investigation.

‘There is something especially appalling about stealing from the dead. During a time when dignity and respect should be absolute, Mr. Muñoz chose greed,’ Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan J. Hochman said in a statement.

He added that the plea was ‘a step toward justice, but it cannot undo the additional trauma inflicted on families who were already dealing with loss.’

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office was closed when reached for comment due to staffing shortages.

The warehouse worker was previously identified by his family as Miguel Solorio. They told the Los Angeles Times in 2023 that he had worn the necklace for decades.

His daughter-in-law, Rosalba Solorio, told the publication at the time that her family asked authorities after his death what had happened to the necklace.

They were later given one that was not Solorio’s and reported it, which led to the discovery.

Rosalba told the Times that her family was devastated after her father-in-law’s sudden death.

‘Finding out what happened with the chain was insult to injury,’ she said at the time. ‘Somebody who should be helping the family did this, and it’s just unexplainable.’

Muñoz started working at the medical examiner’s office, pictured above, in 2018 and was making a yearly salary of $92,615 when he was suspended in 2023

Authorities said at a 2023 press conference that Muñoz had been suspended from his role at the medical examiner’s office.

Chief Medical Examiner Dr Odey Ukpo said he was ‘very disappointed.’ ‘We rely on the trust of the community,’ he added. ‘Certainly, this will have shaken that trust.’

According to LA County employee records, Muñoz had started at the medical examiner’s office in 2018.

Before his suspension in 2023, Muñoz was making $92,615 a year. His base earnings were $0 in 2024, according to public records.

Muñoz will be sentenced at the Foltz Criminal Justice Center on June 5. He is expected to receive two years of probation, 180 days in Los Angeles County jail and was forced to resign from the Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST).

Muñoz has also been ordered to pay restitution to the families of the victims he was accused of stealing from.

Experience the Thrill: John Daly Captivates Fans at Top Dawg Tavern During Masters Week

AUGUSTA, Ga ()- For many years, John Daly has been an iconic figure during Masters Week in Augusta. Previously, the golfer was a regular fixture at Hooters, where he enjoyed interacting with fans. However, since the restaurant’s closure and subsequent demolition, Daly has had to find a new venue to continue his tradition.

Known affectionately as “Big John” or “Wild Thing,” Daly’s popularity among his supporters remains unwavering. This year, he has relocated his meet-and-greet to Top Dawg Tavern, located just across from the former Hooters site. The new location is attracting hundreds of fans eager to meet the golfing legend.

“I’ve watched him play, and I think he’s absolutely hilarious,” said Scott Stroop, a golf enthusiast from Savannah. “When we heard he’d be here, we just couldn’t resist stopping by to see what was happening.”

The influx of visitors during Masters Week has always kept Top Dawg Tavern bustling, but this year, John Daly’s presence is drawing even more patrons through the doors.

“Having John Daly here is definitely boosting our business,” shared David Langdale, Top Dawg Tavern’s manager. “A lot of people would have headed to Hooters if it were still around, but now they’re coming here specifically to see Daly.”

Langdale told NewsChannel 6 that having Daly at Top Dawg Tavern all week has been a blast.

John Daly signs merchandise at Top Dawg Tavern during Masters week 2026.

“The myth, the legend. Yes, ma’am. He is definitely fun to hang out with. He takes pictures with all the kids and anybody that asks for an autograph and a picture, he’s there to help them out. He loves it,” Langdale said.

Daly’s won two major championships but never a Masters. He’s not your typical pro golfer– which some say is what makes him appealing.

“Just the way he…he’s just like an everyday golfer. He takes the swing way too far back in his back swing and he swings as hard as he can. But he’s– he is a legend. He’s a really good golfer. And he’s just hilarious. I mean, he’s just kind of a knucklehead, you know?” Stroop laughed.

Top Dawg Tavern hopes the restaurant becomes Daly’s new landing spot during the Masters going forward.

“John Daly being here has been a big success, and we definitely would love to see him come back next year and stuff. So, we’re treating him well. He’s treating us well and he’s having a lot of fun. So we do expect him back here next year,” said Langdale.

We weren’t able to speak with Daly because of how many people were waiting to meet him. However, his people told us that he’s loved being at Top Dawg Tavern and praised the experience, saying it’s been excellent.

John Daly will be at Top Dawg Tavern every day during Masters week from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

He will be at Top Golf Friday night only, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Meghan Trainor Sparks Buzz with Dramatic ‘Ozempic Face’ Transformation: What You Need to Know

In 2021, Meghan Trainor set out on a journey to enhance her health by embarking on a weight-loss regime. Alongside her husband, Daryl Sabara, Trainor turned to Mounjaro, a brand of tirzepatide known for its potentially milder side effects compared to other GLP-1 drugs like Ozempic. Despite its reputation, the pop star faced the inevitable challenges that accompany rapid weight loss.

A common consequence of losing significant weight swiftly is the visible change in one’s facial appearance, often referred to as “Ozempic face.” This phenomenon can manifest as saggy skin, hollow eyes, and sunken cheeks. After shedding 60 pounds, Trainor began to exhibit some of these characteristics. In a photo taken in November 2025, her face showed the sagging skin around the mouth typically linked with this condition. Observers on social media also speculated about the tautness of her facial skin, with some questioning whether cosmetic surgery played a role.

On Reddit, speculations abounded. “I’m not sure whether it’s the weight loss or too much Botox? A facelift pulled too tight? Her body looks fit, but her face looks a bit severe,” one user commented. Others suggested that the drastic facial changes were primarily due to the weight loss. “She has the kind of facial structure and features that need more fat on it — right now her face looks like a skeleton,” another user remarked. Despite the mixed opinions, Trainor remains proud of her health accomplishments.

Before joining the ranks of celebrities whose appearances have been markedly transformed by weight-loss medications, Trainor was celebrated for her body-positive stance. Her breakout single, “All About That Bass,” delivered a powerful message embracing larger body types. With lyrics like “Yeah, it’s pretty clear, I ain’t no size two / But I can shake it, shake it, like I’m supposed to do,” Trainor resonated with many. She further emphasized her stance with, “You know I won’t be no stick-figure, silicone Barbie doll.” Her evolution continues to spark conversations about body image and health in the public eye.

Meghan Trainor has caught flak for losing weight

Before she joined the list of celebs who look dramatically different after taking weight-loss drugs, Trainor was known for her body-positive messages. The singer burst onto the scene with the release of her single “All About That Bass,” which was a celebration of bigger bodies. “Yeah, it’s pretty clear, I ain’t no size two / But I can shake it, shake it, like I’m supposed to do,” she sings. Later in the song, she proudly declares, “You know I won’t be no stick-figure, silicone Barbie doll.”

So, when Trainor debuted a thin figure, some of her fans were critical. The backlash hurt her, but she defended her decision to lose weight. “I’ve never felt better, and I look incredible. I feel great. And that’s when people attack me,” she told ET in November 2025. Trainor has been open about the journey that led her down the weight-loss track. When she was pregnant with her first child in 2020, she was diagnosed with gestational diabetes.

She managed the condition through diet, and that’s when she became more knowledgeable about nutrition. “I was like, ‘Oh, I got to learn about health and fitness,” she said on 102.7 KIIS FM in 2025. After losing weight, she saw improvements in her overall health and energy levels, so she continued to make lifestyle adjustments to maintain it. “I just want to feel good, because this job is hard to do if you don’t feel good,” she explained. “But I got a lot of hate for being thinner. So that confused me and rattled me.”

Tinubu Urges Gratitude Amid Rising Fuel Costs: A Message to Nigerians

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has openly addressed the increasing hardships brought on by soaring fuel prices, urging citizens to keep their spirits high.

On Friday, during his visit to Bayelsa State, the President inaugurated various projects and spoke about the pressing economic issues facing the nation.

“I understand the challenges from all corners of the economy. The impact of rising fuel prices is significant, but let us be grateful for the progress we have made,” Tinubu remarked.

He compared Nigeria’s current state to that of other African nations, suggesting that these difficulties are not exclusive to Nigeria.

“Consider the situations in Kenya and other African countries; they face similar trials. We will not turn back. We are committed to finding solutions to ease the burdens on the vulnerable. This is a government that truly cares,” he emphasized.

Tinubu also stated that the government is working to ease the burden on citizens, attributing the economic strain to global factors affecting interconnected economies.

“The challenge is from a war we did not call for, but the effects of the interrelated world that we share. Both the joy and pain of it are universal,” he concluded.

Since assuming office in May 2023, the administration has introduced major economic reforms, including the removal of fuel subsidy and the floating of the naira.

While these policies are aimed at long term stability, they have contributed to rising inflation and an increased cost of living, leaving many Nigerians struggling to cope.

Unexpected Twist in UK’s NATO Exercise: Mediterranean Docking of Destroyer Due to Technical Glitch

0

The United Kingdom’s only warship stationed in the eastern Mediterranean amidst the Iran crisis has encountered a technical setback, compelling it to dock and momentarily diminishing Britain’s military presence in the region. This development comes as Prime Minister Keir Starmer faces increasing scrutiny over his management of the unfolding situation.

The HMS Dragon, a Type 45 destroyer assigned to safeguard U.K. interests and exert military influence near the conflict area, has temporarily withdrawn from its mission. The timing is unfortunate, given the delicate state of affairs with a U.S.-brokered ceasefire in place and growing criticism from former Trump administration officials and conservative figures. These critics argue that delays and restrictions have undermined the United Kingdom’s reliability as an ally.

The warship’s docking was prompted by issues with its onboard water systems, which affected the water supply for the crew, as initially reported by The Daily Mail. This incident highlights challenges within the Royal Navy at a time when British military capabilities are under the spotlight.

Keir Starmer wearing a suit and glasses while seated at a desk next to a composite image of the HMS Dragon destroyer.

In response, the Ministry of Defense clarified the situation, stating, “HMS Dragon is undertaking a routine logistics stop and a short maintenance period in the Eastern Mediterranean, allowing the ship to take onboard provisions, optimize systems, and conduct maintenance.” This statement aims to reassure that the warship’s docking is part of a planned maintenance routine rather than an emergency measure.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer has been seen discussing defense spending and naval capabilities, with images of him alongside the HMS Dragon, recognizable by its unique red dragon bow art, circulating in the media. These discussions come at a critical time as the U.K. seeks to bolster its defense posture and reassure allies of its commitments in the region.

The ministry said in a statement to the Daily Mail that if necessary the ship will be “able to sail at short notice.”

“The UK continues to maintain a robust and layered defensive presence in the Eastern Mediterranean, working in coordination with allies. This includes Typhoon and F-35 jets, Wildcat and Merlin helicopters, and advanced counter-drone and air defence systems.”

While the Iran war began on Feb. 28, the U.K. did not announce the deployment of HMS Dragon to protect its air bases in Cyprus until five days later. The announcement came a day after Iranian-backed militia group Hezbollah struck RAF Akrotiri, one of the United Kingdom’s air bases in Cyprus. HMS Dragon did not depart from Portsmouth, England, until March 10 — a week after Starmer’s announcement.

Trump and Starmer have been at odds since the conflict’s onset. While the United Kingdom has allowed the U.S. military to operate out of those bases, Starmer restricted the U.S. military from carrying out offensive missions from its bases. Trump compared Starmer’s approach to Iran to former United Kingdom Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain, who adopted an appeasement policy toward Nazi Germany during World War II.

During a press briefing, War Secretary Pete Hegseth on Wednesday called on “so-called allies,” referring to the United Kingdom, to “take notes” on what the U.S. and Israel accomplished.

Criticism of Starmer’s handling of Iran is also coming from United Kingdom Shadow Housing Secretary James Cleverly, a member of the Tory Party who is also a military reserve officer. Cleverly scrutinized Starmer’s decision to visit the Middle East after the ceasefire was brokered in an interview with GB News.

“He was opposing the United States using their own aircraft from British bases. Then he was in favor of it. He delayed the decision to deploy British naval assets,” Cleverly said.

“He left British military personnel and our allies in the region not properly defended, and now he’s finally engaging properly with this situation,” Cleverly continued.

He claimed that Starmer’s conduct had cost the country “credibility on the world stage.”

“I know a lot of our friends and allies in the region and beyond are very disappointed in Britain’s response. And that is entirely because of decisions that Keir Starmer failed to make,” Cleverly said.

British journalist Patrick Chrysty, host of GB News, also criticized the United Kingdom’s efforts in the Iran war. He called Secretary of Defense John Healey a “bumbling idiot.”

“It took us a month to get HMS Dragon to Cyprus after Iranian-backed terror group Hezbollah attacked our military base there… And right as the world holds its breath, HMS Dragon has a fault with its fresh water supply. It’s gone to dock for repairs. It’s out of action. This is an abomination!”

John Hemmings, director of the National Security Centre at the Henry Jackson Society, said in a statement to Fox News Digital that Starmer’s visit to the Gulf is his way of showing the United Kingdom is in support of Western allies’ efforts in Iran.

“UK Prime Minister Starmer’s trip to the Persian Gulf shows the pressure he is under to ‘fly the flag’ and it’s clear that he’s trying to use Britain’s traditional networks and connections amongst the Gulf Arabs. In some ways, the Starmer team’s behind-the-scenes mediation strengths were proven in the Hamas-Israel peace deal with Jonathan Powell leading,

“This time, Yvette Cooper at the FCDO has been in the lead, running a virtual meeting of over 40 countries to coordinate a response to Iran’s blockade in early April.”

Fox News Digital reached out to the U.K.’s Ministry of Defense for comment.

A travel kettle has been recalled after it was revealed to have a design flaw that could cause serious injuries.

The Australian product safety regulator has announced a recall for the Valley Sisters’ DUCK4X4 Travel Folding Electric Kettle. The decision follows the discovery that the kettle lacks an automatic shut-off feature, preventing it from turning off once the water reaches boiling point.
