Johnson’s Case Details

According to her attorneys, Johnson shot and killed Kirkwood Police Sergeant McEntee when he was 19 years old, the same age his daughter is now.

Court documents show that Johnson’s 12-year-old brother passed away earlier on the same day of the murder following a seizure at their home.

To serve Johnson with a warrant for breaking his probation, police were present at the time of the seizure.

For his brother’s passing, Johnson pointed the finger at the cops, notably McEntee.

And hours later, as McEntee was attending to a report of fireworks in the area, Johnson approached the sergeant’s patrol car, accused him of murdering his brother, and then started shooting.

According to Officer Down Memorial Page, McEntee was 43 years old and had served with the Kirkwood Police Department for 20 years. He left behind a wife, a daughter, and two sons as members of his family.

Meanwhile, the 37-year-old Johnson’s legal team claimed in court documents that racial prejudice was a factor in his prosecution, citing “long-standing and pervasive racial bias” in the way St. Louis County prosecutors “handled this case and other death-eligible prosecutions, including the office’s decisions of which offense to charge, which penalty to seek, and which jurors to strike” in their motion for a stay.

Four of the five defendants who were being prosecuted for the murder of a police officer while in the line of duty were Black, all of whom requested the death penalty, while the fifth defendant was White.

According to Johnson’s request, the prosecutor allowed Black defendants to present mitigation evidence that might convince the office not to seek the death penalty but not in the case of a White defendant.

They also cited a study of 408 homicide cases that qualified for the death sentence during the prosecutor’s term by a political scientist at the University of North Carolina, which revealed that the office primarily sought the death penalty when the victims were White.

A special prosecutor who was assigned to the case last month after the St. Louis Prosecuting Attorney’s Office raised a conflict of interest seemed to back up such assertions.

In his plea for a stay, the special prosecutor, Edward E.E. Keenan, stated that he had “found that racist prosecution practices tainted Mr. Johnson’s conviction and death sentence.”

“Clear and convincing evidence of racial bias by the trial prosecutor.”

Why did Donya Prioleau file a complaint against her firm?

On Tuesday, Donya Prioleau, a Walmart Supercenter employee, filed a $50 million complaint in a Virginia state court. She claimed that she and other employees reported the assault to Walmart management. However, the company does nothing.

Prioleau claimed to have worked an overnight stocking job with Andre Bing, who is accused of shooting and killing six of his coworkers. On November 22, Bing opened fire in a Walmart break room in Chesapeake. According to a new lawsuit, the Virginia Walmart clerk received active shooting training before beginning his slaughter.

Who is Donya Prioleau?

Donya Prioleau is one of the survivors of the Walmart mass shooting. Prioleau was said to have developed post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of seeing the rampage, along with bodily and emotional pain, according to the lawsuit. It also lists several alarming indicators that the attacker displayed, which Prioleau believes managers ignored to address.

Prioleau, a shop supervisor who survived last week’s horrific shooting in Virginia has filed a $50 million lawsuit against her company. She claimed that they should not have kept him on staff because of his “known propensities for violence, threats, and strange behavior.”

She says that two months before the shooting that claimed the lives of six Walmart employees, she filed a report about the shooter, Andre Bing. For more than a year, Prioleau had been employed at the Walmart Supercenter in Chesapeake, close to Battlefield Boulevard. She claimed to have narrowly avoided being shot since she was working the night of the shooting.

The lawsuit filed by Prioleau:

One week after the fatal gunshot, on Tuesday, the law firm Morgan & Morgan filed the lawsuit. The lawsuit details the suspect’s alleged history of unsettling behavior before the horrific mass shooting, which includes remarks the suspect allegedly made against Prioleau’s age, gender, social standing, and appearance.

The lawsuit claims that bullets “whizzed by Plaintiff Donya Prioleau’s face and left side, barely missing her.” On either side of her, she saw several of her coworkers mercilessly slaughtered. “Ms. Prioleau looked at one of her coworkers in the eyes immediately after she had been shot in the neck.”

Ms. Prioleau witnessed the bullet wound in her coworker’s neck, the blood flowing out of it, and her coworker’s helpless expression.”

The lawsuit claims that Bing “maintained a ‘kill list’ of probable targets before the shooting” and “had a personal vengeance against many Walmart employees.”

Prioleau underwent harassment:

Prioleau filed a formal complaint alleging that Bing had “bizarrely and inappropriately commented on Ms. Prioleau’s age” on a Walmart Global Ethics Statement Form. The lawsuit alleges that Bing told her: “Isn’t your lady clock ticking? Shouldn’t you be having kids?”.

Bing harassed her for “being poor and being short,” and called her Bitch, according to the lawsuit. “Despite Mr. Bing’s long-standing pattern of disturbing and threatening behavior. Walmart knew or should have known about Mr. Bing’s disturbing and threatening behavior. But failed to terminate Mr. Bing, restrict his access to common areas, conduct a thorough background investigation, or subject him to a mental health examination,” the lawsuit claims.

The complaint also claims that Bing “repeatedly made veiled threats of violence,” saying that if he were ever fired, people would “remember [his] name” and menacingly inquire as to whether or not his coworkers had undergone active shooter training.

Bing’s strange Behavior:

Bing, a 31 year old suspect was regarded by many as being paranoid and was known to quarrel with other workers. He frequently claimed that he was being watched by the authorities. Shaundrayia Reese, a Walmart employee, reported that the man didn’t use social media. He kept black tape over the camera on his phone. Everyone had the impression that he had a problem.

The Bentonville, Arkansas-based Walmart issued a statement stating that it was evaluating the complaint. And would reply “as appropriate with the court.” The firm stated that “the entire Walmart family is grieved by the death of the valued members of our team.”

“Our deepest sympathies go out to our associates and everyone impacted, including those who were injured. We are focused on supporting all our associates with significant resources, including counseling,” it added. Home and More

In a conversation with Andy Xie before Jiang’s passing, the independent analyst and former top Asia economist for Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong remarked that Jiang “introduced a liberal element to China’s reforms, with the help of Zhu Rongji.” They “executed several things that propelled China toward markets and openness.” When Deng Xiaoping, the party’s then-supreme leader, chose Jiang for the top position in Beijing in 1989, he was serving as Shanghai’s Communist Party head.
