BJ Brown is the suspect in a murder. The Erin Police Department and TBI are seeking Brown for the attempted first-degree murder of a police officer. In Louisiana, Brown is also wanted for second-degree murder.

He is charged with killing a woman in downtown New Orleans on Monday morning, according to the New Orleans Police Department. The culprit has multiple charges. He should be viewed as dangerous and armed.

TBI issued a Blue Alert for Samuel Edwards, 34, earlier on Tuesday. Edwards is suspected of shooting a Hendersonville police officer on Monday night following a police pursuit.

The officer was shot by Brown during a traffic stop on Highway 149 close to Substation Loop, according to Erin police. Brown was the target of a daylong manhunt on Tennessee’s Highway 149 on Tuesday before being apprehended on Wednesday.

Forty-five years old, Homero Zamorano Jr is an alleged driver of the tractor-trailer who was reportedly taken into control by police on Wednesday on criminal charges alleging alien smuggling resulting in death.

Originally from Brownsville, Zamorano resides in Pasadena, Texas; currently, Officers are revealed. The 45-year-old alleged truck driver reportedly went to Homer Hanna High School in Brownsville, Texas.

Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) responded to a neighborhood in San Antonio on June 27, 2022, where dozens of individuals suspected of entering the US illegally were found dead inside a tractor-trailer.

San Antonio Police Department officers were led to the location of a person, later identified as Zamorano, who was reportedly discovered hiding in the brush after attempting to elude authorities.

Laredo Sector Border Patrol provided HSI agents with captured surveillance footage of the truck crossing through an immigration checkpoint. The driver was wearing a black shirt with stripes and a hat in the footage.

HSI agents confirmed Homero matched the individual from the surveillance footage who was seen wearing the same clothing, federal prosecutors uncovered. He was then arrested on June 29, 2022.

Christian Martinez, 28, charged by the criminal complaint, was arrested on June 28, 2022, in Palestine, Texas. The 28-year-old is charged with reportedly one count of conspiracy to transport aliens resulting in death.

An investigation uncovered conversations regarding the deadly smuggling attempt between the two. Martinez reportedly had an initial appearance Wednesday in Tyler and will be transferred to San Antonio for further proceedings.

Besides Martinez and Zamorano’s arrest, Juan Claudio D’Luna-Mendez, 23, and Juan Francisco D’Luna-Bilbao, 48, both citizens of Mexico, were reportedly arrested and had an initial court appearance.

Homero Zamorano Jr was arrested on criminal charges for his alleged involvement in the death of 53 migrants reportedly discovered inside an abandoned tractor-trailer in San Antonio.

If convicted, the 45-year-old alleged tractor-trailer driver faces life in prison or, possibly, the death penalty. The US Attorney’s Office unveiled his arrest for the Western District of Texas in a press release.
