Genie Exum was apprehended on October 18, 2021.

When she was with her lover Frances Amor, they got into a heated argument, and Exum lost her cool. She then used a kitchen knife to stab her lover in the back and arm.

A doorman then contacted 911 after witnessing the blood. Her companion was injured, and as a result, she was detained.

Genie appeared in court on Tuesday, accused of ‘assault with the intent to cause serious damage with a knife.’ She even told a narrative regarding her exclusive custody, which occurred at her home.
