Controversy Erupts as Joe Rogan Faces Accusations of Misinformation on Charlie Kirk Incident

0

Joe Rogan finds himself at the center of controversy after being accused of fabricating his whereabouts during the assassination of Charlie Kirk, leading the popular podcast host to offer a strong rebuttal.

Rogan, now 58, was deep in conversation with entertainer Theo Von on Thursday’s episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” as he attempted to piece together the details surrounding Kirk’s murder that occurred in September.

“I was out elk hunting when all this happened,” Rogan recalled. “I was in Utah at the time, out in the mountains.”

Contrary to his recent statement, Rogan had previously reacted live to the assassination news during a September episode of his podcast featuring Charlie Sheen, visibly taken aback by the events.

The discrepancy in Rogan’s account was highlighted by an X user, who shared a video merging the two podcast episodes and commented, “What a strange thing to lie about.”

Others responded with similar comments, but Rogan was quick to push back on the criticism, as he insisted that he had merely made an innocent mistake.

‘Honestly I just remembered it wrong. I was elk hunting when Jimmy Kimmel was getting people angry at him for joking about the assassination and blaming it on MAGA,’ he wrote early Saturday on X.

‘I would never “lie” about that,’ Rogan added. ‘I just had a dumb memory moment.’

The backlash to Rogan’s comments to Von was swift, with users across the internet questioning the popular podcaster’s account.

Rogan’s latest podcast had more than 1.6 million views, as of Saturday evening.

‘Well now you kind of can’t believe anything he says,’ one user wrote on X. ‘Once I catch you lying its [sic] over with. Damn joe why?’

Others baselessly accused Rogan of having more nefarious intentions with the retelling on his podcast.

‘He created an entire story about elk hunting and starlink etc and went off for 2 minutes,’ another X user wrote. ‘That’s not misremembering; that’s straight up lying.’

Some internet sleuths returned to Rogan’s podcast episode with Sheen and noted the discrepancy.

‘Just came by to see if I hallucinated Joe NOT elk hunting in Utah during Kirk’s assassination,’ one YouTube user said.

Another added: ‘Who else came here to confirm Rogan was in his studio and not hunting in Utah Mountains?’

Online commenters across social media platforms also questioned Rogan’s memory, wondering how he could misremember such an event.

‘How tf do you forget being on your podcast with Charlie Sheen while learning in real time about Charlie Kirk’s murder?’ one user on X wrote.

‘He definitely was with Charlie Sheen,’ another added.

But others were more sympathetic to Rogan, saying that he had a slip of the tongue that was not alarming.

‘Maybe, just maybe, it wasn’t a lie,’ one X user said. ‘Maybe he is human and can’t remember s*** like the rest of us. Not everything is malicious.’

Another called the accusations that Rogan was lying ‘moronic,’ opining that the comedian and UFC commentator had no reason to be embellishing the story.

‘Why would Joe “lie” about a moment when he was on camera, seen by millions of people?’ the user wrote. ‘It was obviously a memory lapse, he’s almost 60… Not everything is a conspiracy theory.’

Another user on YouTube mentioned that it was ‘possible to misremember things,’ adding that Rogan ‘most likely just forgot.’

‘If he lied on purpose he’d know that people can literally prove him wrong with his own podcasts,’ they added.

However, Rogan’s apology on Saturday was not widely accepted despite his explanation.

‘When Charlie got killed it was a moment like 9/11,’ one X user wrote. ‘You simply don’t “forget” where you were and especially if you were talking about it live as it happened.’

Another user posted: ‘Memory moment is what we’re calling it now lol.’

Others noted how it was unusual for Rogan to respond to viral criticism but had quickly addressed this.

‘Joe rarely comments on anything about himself, usually just doesn’t care,’ a third user said. ‘Wild.’

Kirk was killed on September 10 in Orem at the Utah Valley University campus during an outdoor debate event planned by Turning Point USA, which he founded.

Rogan’s reaction to the conservative activist’s assassination went viral, with the episode amassing more than 5.6 million views to date.

Kirk’s accused murderer Tyler James Robinson, 22, is facing capital murder charges and a potential death sentence.

Robinson’s defense attorneys now argue that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ‘was unable to identify the bullet recovered at autopsy to the rifle allegedly tied’ to him.

The Daily Mail has reached out to the Joe Rogan Experience’s production team for further comment.

Cornerstone Church Hosts Successful Easter Egg Hunt, Filling Baskets with Joy

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. — The spirit of Easter was in full swing in the Tri-Cities on Saturday, as numerous churches and community groups came together to organize festive events and egg hunts.

Among these celebrations, Cornerstone Church in Johnson City stood out with its vibrant egg hunt and free hot dog lunch, drawing families from the area. “Our egg hunt is an annual tradition and a significant outreach effort,” explained Andrew Burns, the Lead Pastor at Cornerstone Church. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to engage children with the gospel message, using eggs, candy, food, inflatables, and all the exciting activities.”

In preparation for the event, Burns shared with News Channel 11 that the church community came together to hide approximately 2,500 eggs over the preceding weeks. “We have about five acres of land to utilize,” Burns noted. “We spread the eggs out extensively, and occasionally, we even stumble upon some leftovers the following year.”

Burns told News Channel 11 the Church had kids hide around 2,500 eggs for the hunt in the weeks before.

“Yeah, we have about, I’d say about five acres of space to cover that we try and hide the eggs and spread them out really good,” said Burns. “Sometimes we find them the next year.”

Easter service at Cornerstone Church will be held at 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

Repeat Offender Arrested for Alleged Kidnapping and Assault of Uber Passenger

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Authorities have charged 39-year-old Jermain Antwan Herring with kidnapping and sexual assault following an incident on February 21. The charges come after Herring’s arrest on April 2 for suspected drug trafficking activities.

According to the Gainesville Police Department (GPD), an officer observed Herring engaging in what appeared to be drug transactions in the Midtown area during the early hours of April 2. Prior reports had linked Herring to various criminal activities, including stalking adolescents, robberies, voyeurism, and sexual assaults. In a report, the officer described Herring as someone who “preys on vulnerable individuals in the city.”

Following his arrest, Herring faced charges of possessing drugs with the intent to sell and loitering, with Judge William Davis setting his bail at $210,000.

On April 3, a GPD detective brought additional charges related to the February incident, where a man claimed he was kidnapped and sexually assaulted while intoxicated. The victim recounted arranging an Uber ride but mistakenly entering a red vehicle. Once inside, the driver allegedly exposed the victim’s genitals and assaulted him. The victim, impaired by intoxication, was unable to defend himself. He lost consciousness and, upon regaining it, found himself in a vulnerable position with the driver continuing the assault. Again, he was unable to resist due to his condition.

The victim said the driver grabbed his shoulders and forced his upper body into the back seat, through the opening between the front seats, and raped him; he said he told the man to stop at least once, but he was unable to stop what was happening. He said he lost consciousness again and woke up on the ground outside his apartment building.

The detective’s investigation found that the victim had taken a rideshare alone to go downtown, just after midnight on February 21; he’d had several alcoholic beverages before leaving, and he consumed additional alcoholic beverages at a bar.

Surveillance video reportedly shows the victim walking downtown at about 1:52 a.m.; he is struggling to walk and appears to be significantly intoxicated. At one point, he stumbles off the sidewalk and into the street. Cell phone data and surveillance video confirm that the victim was in the 200 block of North Main Street for about 30 minutes, and he was actively using his phone during this period, although some of the interactions, such as looking up his own contact information and trying to call himself, were described by the detective as “patently senseless.”

About 20 minutes later, surveillance video shows the victim in the 100 block of South Main Street, where he is still struggling to walk. At about 2:50 a.m., the victim stops in front of 120 South Main Street and manages to request a rideshare; however, the request had an incorrect location, presumably because of the victim’s level of intoxication.

At 2:58 a.m., the rideshare arrived, but it was about four or five blocks away because of the incorrect location; the victim received a notification that the ride was there, and less than three minutes later, a red car pulled over, the driver spoke to him, and the victim got into the red car. The detective noted that surveillance video shows the red car driving past the victim at least three times in the 10 minutes the victim was at that location.

Data from the victim’s phone shows that the victim did not use his phone between 3:09 a.m. and 3:31 a.m., which is a contrast to the activity in the previous hour and may indicate that the victim was either unable to access the phone or incapable of using it.

About 20 minutes after the victim got into the red car, the victim’s cell phone was used, the Uber app was accessed, and text was entered into Google Maps; the phone had no further activity until 3:51 a.m., when the phone recognized that it was at the victim’s residence.

The detective noted that Herring is known to drive a red four-door Kia, and the Kia was seen traveling eastbound from 1300 West University Avenue at 2:48 a.m. on February 21. Surveillance video in the area reportedly shows a red four-door Kia traveling past the victim twice before stopping at about 3:01 a.m.

The detective obtained a search warrant for location data from Herring’s phone, and the data reportedly showed that Herring’s phone was at the same location as the red Kia when the red Kia passed the victim. Between 3:01 a.m. and 3:50 a.m., Herring’s phone and the victim’s phone show the same location, and Herring’s phone reportedly stopped for about 10 minutes at the victim’s apartment before returning downtown.

The victim underwent a sexual assault examination a few hours after the alleged incident, and his blood alcohol level was still over 0.300 mg/dl.

Herring has been charged with kidnapping and two counts of sexual battery. He has 15 felony convictions (one violent) and 3 misdemeanor convictions (three violent); he was arrested for voyeurism in January 2025, but the charge was eventually dropped. He has served three state prison sentences, with his most recent release in 2021. Judge William Davis ordered him held without bail on the new charges, pending a hearing on a motion from the State Attorney’s Office to hold him without bail until trial; if the judge denies the motion, bail will be set at that hearing.

Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Taxi Industry Faces Challenges Amid Rising Fuel Costs, Uber Competition, and Unlicensed Operators

Many business owners are growing increasingly concerned that they may have to shut their doors if fuel prices continue to rise unchecked.

Jacqui Shephard, director of Crown Cabs, expressed that her fleet of 35 drivers operating across Victoria is facing significant challenges.

Crown Cabs Victoria

Shephard highlighted that the taxi company is already grappling with the surge in popularity of rideshare apps and the competition from independent drivers who bypass regulations.

“We’re looking at things like… do we stay open? And we’ve been looking at that for a little while,” Shephard told Nine.com.au.

“We bear the burden of fuel costs, and if these expenses climb any higher, remaining operational may no longer be viable,” she explained.

Shephard emphasized that Crown Cabs’ regular clientele, especially in regional areas, depend heavily on their services for wheelchair-accessible transportation and getting to medical appointments.

Often, drivers are heading back to town with no passengers.

These “empty” rides still use up fuel and after diesel surged to over $3.20 a litre, that is potentially hundreds of dollars wasted.

“Our costs have gone up considerably,” Shephard added.

“It’s really tough. And there doesn’t seem to be any reaction or any support from the state or federal government.”

Some taxi drivers have reported seeing their weekly diesel bill double from around $400 to over $800.

But taxi companies are not able to pass on the cost of fuel to customers due to the industry’s tight regulations.

There is legislation capping the maximum fares that taxis can charge in Victoria, meaning surcharges to cope with the cost of fuel are out of the question.

Even if they could, Shephard said her customers are “already struggling enough” as it is.

“We want to be there to help those people. We’re not going to be raising our prices ridiculously – and we can’t,” she said.

Shephard said there has been a rise of independent drivers who refuse to play by the rules too.

“We have to abide by everything,” Shephard said.

“And you’ve got all the idependents who are just rogue cowboys who take work away from those doing the right thing and give the industry a bad name.”

For companies like Crown Cabs, it remains to be seen if the federal government’s decision to halve the fuel excise for three months will help lower costs.

The government convened in a national cabinet meeting yesterday to urgently discuss ways to ease the supply issues and high prices impacting motorists.

Fuel availability is dwindling around the country as stock is depleted.

In Victoria alone, out of a total of 1,627 petrol stations, 82 are without diesel and 40 are without any petrol at all.

Revitalize Knee Strength After 60: 7 Chair Exercises That Outperform Yoga

0

Discover these efficient chair exercises designed to fortify your knees.

Weak knees can significantly impact your day-to-day life. It’s well-documented that knee pain is a prevalent musculoskeletal issue, especially among older adults, and its frequency increases with age. Research highlights that knee pain can lead to physical disabilities and a diminished quality of life. A major contributor to knee pain is osteoarthritis, a degenerative joint disease affecting over 27 million Americans. This condition results in pain, imbalance, stiffness, and reduced functionality, and it can also lead to mental stress.

“With time, the cartilage in your knees deteriorates, reducing the cushioning between bones,” states Dr. Gbolahan Okubadejo, a Board-Certified Spinal Surgeon at The Institute for Comprehensive Spine Care. “The muscles around the knee, particularly the quadriceps, naturally shrink and weaken as you age, providing less support. Additionally, ligaments become stiffer and less flexible, making the joint feel unstable. Consequently, everyday activities like descending stairs, rising from a chair, or walking on an incline can seem risky or painful.”

No matter the reason behind your weakened knees, it’s crucial to strengthen them to prevent future complications. We consulted experts who suggest chair workouts as a gentle yet effective solution for strengthening knees. They provided seven chair exercises that can help enhance knee strength more swiftly than yoga, particularly for those over 60.

Whatever is causing your knees to be weak, it’s important to strengthen them to avoid additional problems down the road—and we have just the routine to help. We spoke with experts who recommend chair workouts, which are kind on the knees and will get the job done. They shared seven chair exercises that can help restore knee strength faster than yoga after 60.

Why the Knees Typically Lose Strength and Stability After 60

Shutterstock

You begin to naturally lose lean muscle once you hit 30.

“As we keep aging, the muscles around the knees that stabilize it—quads, hamstrings and glutes—get weaker if the individual does not do strength training. The tendons and ligaments also lose elasticity. And joint cartilage also thins over time. That is, if there is no activity to counteract the effects of natural normal aging,” explains Terry Tateossian, Founder, Certified Lifestyle Medicine Coach, Trainer, Nutritionist for Women 40+ at THOR – The House of Rose.

That’s where chair exercises come in clutch. According to Tateossian, they serve as an effective starting point for individuals seeking to build stronger knees and legs.

“One of the main reasons chair exercises are more aligned with building muscle over yoga is that they allow progressive overload as the person gets stronger,” she says. “So you can perform chair squats, for example, with just using body weight the first month and then progressively start to add a dumbbell, then two dumbbells, then more reps, slower tempo, and more sets. This is all considered progressive overload, and it helps promote muscle growth.”

How Chair-Based Training Can Be More Effective Than Yoga

Rebuilding and rehabbing knee strength when you’re over 60 depends on your current starting point. Chair-based exercises are typically more productive for those with limited mobility and/or significant knee pain, says Rachel Pieroni, NASM CNC, CPT, with Pure Barre / Xponential Fitness.

“Traditionally, yoga focuses on flexibility, coordination, and muscular endurance, which may help reduce pain and stiffness in the knee(s), but may not have the same benefits in terms of strength that chair-based exercises can offer,” she says. “Overall, chair-based exercises are highly effective for building foundational strength in the quadriceps, hamstrings, and glutes, without placing added pressure on the knee joint.”

According to Dr. Okubadejo, many older adults simply feel safer with a sturdy chair nearby.

“A chair takes most of the body weight out of the equation, so the muscles can work without the joint taking a beating. That means you can do more reps, build strength gradually, and stay consistent without flare-ups stopping you every few days,” he says.

Below are several chair exercises to add to your fitness routine in order to restore knee strength.

Chair Squats

  1. Begin by standing tall in front of a sturdy chair with your feet hip-width apart on the ground.
  2. Activate your core and keep your chest lifted.
  3. Bend at the knees and hips and lower slowly into a squat—as if you’re about to sit down. Make sure your weight stays in your heels.
  4. Lightly touch the surface of the chair with your glutes.
  5. Press through your heels to rise back up.
  6. Perform 2 to 3 sets of 10 to 15 reps, sticking with a 3010 tempo and resting for 60 seconds between sets.

Seated Leg Extensions

  1. Begin sitting tall with your back supported against the chair.
  2. Place your feet flat on the floor.
  3. Hold the sides of the chair for added stability.
  4. Lift your legs in front of you until your knees are completely extended. For max quad engagement, keep your toes flexed toward your shins the entire time.
  5. To increase the challenge, hold a dumbbell between your feet.
  6. Perform 2 to 3 sets of 10 to 15 reps, sticking with a 3010 tempo and resting for 60 seconds between sets.

Seated Banded Hip Abductions

  1. Begin sitting tall on a sturdy chair or workout bench with your feet planted flat on the ground and your knees bent.
  2. Position a resistance band just above your knees.
  3. Begin with your knees hip-distance apart.
  4. Press your knees out against the resistance band.
  5. Use control to release.
  6. Complete 2 to 3 sets of 25 to 35 reps, sticking with a 3010 tempo and resting for 60 seconds between sets.

Seated Banded Hamstring Curls

  1. Begin sitting tall on a sturdy chair or workout bench with your feet flat on the ground and your knees bent to 90 degrees.
  2. Position a resistance band securely around one ankle and anchor the other end to a sturdy pole or heavy object ahead of you.
  3. Scoot back just a bit to establish some tension.
  4. Slowly pull your heel back under the chair, bending your knee against the band’s resistance.
  5. Use the control to return to the start position.
  6. Complete 2 to 3 sets of 25 to 35 reps, sticking with a 3010 tempo and resting for 60 seconds between sets.

Seated Toe Taps

  1. Begin sitting tall with your feet flat on the floor and knees bent.
  2. Lift both feet off the ground, maintaining a bend in the knees.
  3. Tap one set of toes on the ground while the other leg stays lifted.
  4. Complete 2 to 3 sets of 10 to 15 reps on each leg, sticking with a 3010 tempo and resting for 60 seconds between sets.

Seated March

  1. Begin seated with your feet placed hip-width apart on the floor.
  2. Lift your left knee up to hip height.
  3. Lower.
  4. Then, lift your right knee up to hip level.
  5. Lower.
  6. Maintain solid posture as you continue to “march.”
  7. Perform 3 sets of 20 reps.

For those looking for an added challenge, Purre Barre’s reverse chair exercise is essentially a wall sit using an invisible chair.

  1. Begin with your back to the barre (or a wall).
  2. Position one loop of a tube resistance band around both thighs.
  3. Bring your feet hip-distance apart and parallel to each other.
  4. Bring your arms out wide on the barre and walk your feet forward.
  5. Bend your knees and sink your buttocks toward knee level, as if you’re sitting on a chair.
  6. Make sure your knees are stacked over the ankles, and your shoulders are over your hips.
  7. Start to press out on the resistance tube, pausing to hold the position for a moment before releasing.
  8. Perform 3 sets of 15 to 20 reps.

US Airman Rescued Unharmed in Daring Operation Inside Iran, Confirms Trump

The second airman who had been unaccounted for in Iran following the downing of a US fighter jet has been successfully rescued, according to President Donald Trump.

In a late-night announcement on Saturday, Trump lauded the mission as “one of the most daring Search and Rescue Operations in U.S. History.” He proudly stated that a colonel was safely recovered from deep within hostile territory.

Trump’s announcement mirrored the famous declaration by President Obama following the 2011 operation that eliminated Osama bin Laden, as he enthusiastically proclaimed, “WE GOT HIM!”

The President shared in a Truth Social post that this courageous soldier had been stranded behind enemy lines in Iran’s perilous mountain regions, being relentlessly pursued by adversaries who were closing in rapidly.

Despite sustaining injuries during a fierce confrontation with IRGC forces, the colonel is now “safe and sound,” Trump confirmed.

According to Fox News, the rescue mission’s success was partly thanks to a ‘deception campaign’ launched by the CIA inside Iran.

The intelligence agency spread the word that US forces had already found the colonel and were moving him, which confused Iranian forces.

The airman ejected from an F-15E fighter jet along with the aircraft’s pilot in the early hours of Friday, sparking a frantic two-day search operation that culminated in a fierce firefight.

Trump said the aircraft’s pilot was secretly rescued hours after the crash, but that operation was kept quiet to not ‘jeopardize our second rescue operation.’

The F-15E jet was downed on Friday soon after a US A-10 Warthog was also shot from the sky by Iranian forces in a chaotic day of fighting, marking the first US aircraft downed since the start of the conflict.

It came after Trump said earlier on Truth Social that US forces had ‘terminated’ several of Iran’s military leaders, sharing footage appearing to show an airstrike taking out top IRGC commanders.

Trump’s social media posts praising the rescue operations came hours after the White House furiously shut down rumors the president was hospitalized on Saturday.

The government said Trump not made public appearances in three days because he is focusing on the conflict with Iran.

Following the downing of two US aircrafts on Friday, Iran placed a $60,000 bounty on the heads of the US airmen, vowing to seek revenge on US military forces for the conflict.

Before the rescue mission took place, the official X account for the Iranian Embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan, released harrowing new images of the destroyed F-15E jet, accompanied by a taunting caption.

‘The stealth fighter that now has no escape but to lie under the feet of aerospace warriors,’ the embassy wrote.

‘That same stealth giant, for which they wove legends for years, is today a pile of scrap metal fallen to the ground – this is the very technology they claimed was invisible and untouchable,’ it added. ‘But now it has been seen and brought down.’

While the pilot was rescued quickly, the second member of the crew, a Weapons Systems Officer, used specialized survival techniques to evade capture long enough to be saved, Fox News correspondent Jennifer Griffin said in an X post on Saturday night.

The soldier used SERE – survival, evasion, resistance and escape – training to evade capture, hiking up an elevated ridge away from the wreckage and putting out an emergency beacon in hopes of being located.

Griffin said a number of Iranian military forces were killed and injured in the operation, but no US soldiers were killed.

A US official told Fox News the mission was ‘very complex’, and involved several branches of the US military to find and rescue the airman.

During search and rescue operations on Friday, two rescue helicopters were hit by Iranian forces and crew members on board were injured.

As Iranian forces closed in on the stranded airman, footage circulating on social media appeared to show members of Iran’s Bakhtiari tribes in Khuzestan heading into the mountains, rifles in hand, to search for the American soldier.

Iranians have been offered a $60,000 bounty for the pilot’s ‘head,’ while Trump declined to comment on how he would respond if the airman were to have been harmed.

Broadcasters urged locals near the crash site to seize the American, telling viewers: ‘If you capture the enemy pilot or pilots alive and hand them over to the police you will receive a precious prize.’

News channels also flashed messages on screen of ‘shoot them if you see them’ and showed footage of villagers scouring a rocky hillside.

In a gloating online statement, Iranian parliamentary speaker Mohammad Ghalibaf taunted the US and Trump over his repeated claims of winning the war.

‘After defeating Iran 37 times in a row, this brilliant no-strategy war they started has now been downgraded from “regime change” to “Hey! Can anyone find our pilots? Please?”’ Ghalibaf wrote.

President Trump Celebrates Successful Rescue of Second U.S. Airman from Iran

Late on Saturday night, several news organizations confirmed that the second crew member from the F15E fighter jet had been successfully rescued from behind enemy lines in Iran. Both the rescued crew member and the rescue team have safely exited the country.

In response to the successful rescue operation, President Trump issued a statement:

Shortly thereafter, President Trump responded:

My fellow Americans, over the past several hours, the United States Military pulled off one of the most daring Search and Rescue Operations in U.S. History, for one of our incredible Crew Member Officers, who also happens to be a highly respected Colonel, and who I am thrilled to let you know is now SAFE and SOUND!

The president’s full message:

FROM PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP

WE GOT HIM! This brave Warrior was behind enemy lines in the treacherous mountains of Iran, being hunted down by our enemies, who were getting closer and closer by the hour, but was never truly alone because his Commander in Chief, Secretary of War, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and fellow Warfighters were monitoring his location 24 hours a day, and diligently planning for his rescue. At my direction, the U.S. Military sent dozens of aircraft, armed with the most lethal weapons in the World, to retrieve him. He sustained injuries, but he will be just fine. This miraculous Search and Rescue Operation comes in addition to a successful rescue of another brave Pilot, yesterday, which we did not confirm, because we did not want to jeopardize our second rescue operation. This is the first time in military memory that two U.S. Pilots have been rescued, separately, deep in Enemy Territory. WE WILL NEVER LEAVE AN AMERICAN WARFIGHTER BEHIND! The fact that we were able to pull off both of these operations, without a SINGLE American killed, or even wounded, just proves once again, that we have achieved overwhelming Air Dominance and Superiority over the Iranian skies. This is a moment that ALL Americans, Republican, Democrat, and everyone else, should be proud of and united around. We truly have the best, most professional, and lethal Military in the History of the World. GOD BLESS AMERICA, GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS, AND HAPPY EASTER TO ALL!

Griffin, meanwhile, had more on what went down:

The WSO used the SERE (Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape) training to evade capture, hiding on an elevated ridge after hiking away from the wreckage and putting out an emergency beacon.) US Special Operations rescue forces to include PJs (United States Air Force Pararescuemen (PJs) and many layers of elite rescue forces took part in the complex, layered mission to both find the crew member and also keep the Iranian forces who were hunting the American weapons system operator at bay. There are videos that have appeared from local eyewitnesses that show what appear to have been injured and dead Iranian members of the IRGC and Basij who were looking for the downed American crew member. Fox has learned there was fighting on the ground but no Americans killed during the operation. “It was a very complex operation to retrieve the downed service member,” a well placed source briefed on the operation told me. Many different branches of the US military were involved in the rescue.

Reports: 1 Crew Member Rescued After Iran Downs US Fighter Jet, Search Continues for Second

The fighting got heavy as both American and Iranian forces desperately searched for the downed pilot:

An American airman who went missing after Iran shot down an F-15 fighter jet has been rescued after a “heavy firefight,” a US government official told Al Jazeera.

Although the weapons officer has been recovered, it is understood the operation is still ongoing and the crew may still be in Iranian territory and in danger.

It comes after reports of air strikes overnight in Dehdasht, near where the aircraft was shot down.

Two crew members had ejected from the plane after Tehran’s forces downed it on Friday, one of whom was located shortly after the crash, but the whereabouts of the second were unknown.

The ensuing manhunt for the missing weapons officer triggered a race between American forces and armed Iranian nomads motivated by a £50,000 bounty offered by the Islamic Republic for the airman’s capture.

They kept going back in.

Both crew home.

This is extremely good news as we head into Easter. God bless our troops.
