In 1957, our cosmic sojourn began with the Soviet satellite Sputnik breaching our atmosphere. Invideo AI functions similarly, turning your ideas into visually stunning videos with just a simple prompt. But hold on, there’s more to it. Add subtitles, tweak the music volume, or switch the voiceover to a British female voice – all with a few words. The possibilities are astounding, and we’ve only scratched the surface. Stay tuned, as I’ll guide you through starting a TikTok automation business using this powerful tool.

### Getting Started with Invideo AI

To access Invideo AI, follow the link in the description. Create a free account, and you’ll land on a user-friendly dashboard. The central element is a text box where you input prompts. For a basic start, you can type something like “Create a 2-minute video about cats,” and Invideo AI takes care of script planning, voiceover, and video creation.

However, for professional-quality videos, a more detailed prompt is key. As you continue watching, I’ll share my prompt formula for optimal results. In the dropdown menu, select a workflow – YouTube Shorts, YouTube Explainer, recent events video, or script to video. Each requires specific information, essential for understanding the Tik Tok automation business we’ll explore later.

## Crafting Engaging Videos: A Step-by-Step Guide

Let’s consider creating a YouTube explainer, an excellent choice for a faceless YouTube channel. Specify the video duration (e.g., 10 minutes) and provide detailed information about the video. For instance, create a video about “Nine Crazy Facts About Cats.” Be creative in defining the overall look – start with a captivating fact, ensure humor, engagement, and dynamism, and end with a question for audience interaction.

Customization continues with background music and voiceover settings. Select the music type, gender, and accent for the voiceover. Subtitles are optional but add a layer of engagement. After hitting ‘Continue,’ the magic begins as Invideo AI transforms your detailed prompt into a video. Want to customize further? Invideo AI allows you to tweak various elements, from audience selection to the video’s look and feel.

Invideo AI’s recent events video workflow adds another layer to your content creation arsenal. Use an article link as a reference, and within minutes, you have a trending video. Explore the world of artificial intelligence or any niche that aligns with trending topics.

## The TikTok Automation Business Model

Now, the big question – how does the TikTok account, seemingly simple yet monetarily successful, operate? The answer lies in affiliate product promotion. By examining the account’s bio, we find links to popular ClickBank products like Soulmate Sketch and Wealth DNA Code. With multiple accounts in the same niche, they consistently promote these products in their videos, some of which have garnered millions of views. The simplicity of the videos is the key, but I’ll show you how to leverage Invideo AI for even better results.

### Getting Started with TikTok Automation

Starting your TikTok automation business is a step-by-step process. Begin by selecting an affiliate product – platforms like ClickBank or Digistore offer diverse options. Create a TikTok account, and the real fun begins – content creation. Brainstorm video ideas, and here are three methods to help you:

Shocking Twist: Tiger Woods’ Post-Crash Call to Trump Revealed Amid Arrest Drama

0

In a surprising turn of events, Tiger Woods reached out to President Donald Trump immediately following his recent car accident in Florida, according to startling new footage. The incident occurred when the renowned golfer was apprehended after his SUV flipped over, attempting to pass another vehicle at high speeds.

Authorities discovered two opioid pills in Woods’ possession, leading to his arrest on various charges, including driving under the influence. The situation took another twist with the release of bodycam footage capturing Woods during a phone call, where he reportedly mentioned, “I was just talking with the President.”

Woods, who is romantically linked to Vanessa, Trump’s former daughter-in-law, is seen in the video some distance away from an officer who persistently calls out to him. The officer eventually approaches Woods, advising him to stay with them.

While engaged in the phone conversation, Woods, a 15-time major champion, is gently reminded by the officer to remain at the scene, reflecting the tense atmosphere following the incident.

The 15-time major champion appears to be speaking on the phone when the officer tells him: ‘We’ll get you to hang down here with us, please.’

A few moments later, Woods can be heard ending his conversation as he approaches the police. ‘Thank you so much – all right, you got it, thank you, bye,’ the 50-year-old says.

Woods, who has a close relationship with Trump and was awarded the Medal of Freedom during his first term, then tells police: ‘I was just talking with the president.’

Later in the clip, the golf star wanders back past the police car and begins speaking to man identified by TMZ as his manager. Their conversation is difficult to make out but at one point, TMZ reports, Woods claims the president was ‘very apologetic for what he did last night.’

TMZ reports that the golf star is likely referring to Trump’s appearance on ‘The Five’ the night before, when he announced Woods would not play at the Masters. In the bodycam footage, meanwhile, the golf star then takes a small container out of his shorts pocket.

‘No, nothing in your mouth, please,’ an officer tells him as he appears to put something towards his lips. Woods then takes out a small tube of chapstick and appears to ask: ‘Am I allowed a lick of this?’

The cop replies: ‘Right now, no. It’s humid outside, you don’t need lip balm.’

Woods is not handcuffed in the video, which appears to have been filmed before he was put through a field sobriety test.

Trump last week spoke about Woods’ struggles, telling reporters: ‘I feel so bad. He’s got some difficulty – there was an accident, and that’s all I know.’

The president added: ‘[He is] a very close friend of mine, he’s an amazing person, an amazing man. But some difficulty. I don’t want to talk about it.’

This latest footage emerged on Thursday evening, just hours after more video showed a dazed Woods kneeling at the side of the road and falling asleep in the back of a cop car following his latest DUI arrest.

The Martin County Sheriff’s Office released a clip of the moment cops found him lethargic, sweaty and unsteady at the side of the street, as well as a 17-minute video of Woods being transported to jail.

In the footage of him in the back seat of the cop car, Woods can be seen yawning wildly, struggling to contain a bout of hiccups, and briefly falling asleep, all while remaining completely silent.

In the initial clip of him at the roadside, recorded by the arresting officer’s bodycam, Woods can be heard explaining how the crash occurred.

‘I looked down at my phone, and all of a sudden… boom!’ Woods tells the officer, explaining the moment he clipped the back of a pressure washer trailer and rolled his Range Rover onto its side.

He is kneeling on the grass verge as medical checks are performed on him, and an officer can be heard asking ‘is this comfortable for you?’, to which he replies: ‘Yeah, yeah.’

The officer then walks away from the golfer, showing his upturned vehicle and the driver of the truck and trailer being interviewed by a different cop on the quiet Jupiter Island street.

Woods’ arrest affidavit was released on Wednesday, in which cops revealed how he had told them he was ‘looking down at this cell phone and changing the radio station’ when the crash occurred.

When officers searched Woods, they discovered two white pills inside the left pocket of his trousers. They were marked ‘M367’, which is hydrocodone and is used to treat severe or chronic pain. According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, opioids are ‘highly addictive’.

The 15-time major winner’s eyes were also said to be ‘bloodshot and glassy’ and his pupils were ‘extremely dilated’. When asked if he is currently taking any prescription medication, Woods replied: ‘I take a few’.

It comes after the Daily Mail first reported that Woods’ refusal to provide a urine sample at the scene was likely because he had taken heavy doses of prescription opioids from his repeated injuries.

Woods, who has been involved in multiple other crashes over the years, was charged with driving under the influence, property damage and refusal to submit to a lawful test.

The affidavit says Woods was ‘limping and stumbling’ during a field sobriety test. After completing a number of exercises, Woods was deemed unfit to be driving his car.

He had been traveling at ‘high speeds’ on a residential road and after the crash showed ‘signs of impairment,’ Martin County Sheriff John Budensiek said, adding that investigators believe he had taken some kind of medication or drug.

He described Woods as lethargic and said he agreed to a breathalyzer test that showed no signs of alcohol, but he refused a urine test and was arrested.

Budensiek said Woods attempted to pass a pressure cleaner truck while driving on a two-lane road with a 30mph speed limit. He said authorities could not determine how fast Woods was going.

The Land Rover swerved to avoid a collision as he was passing the truck but clipped the back end of the truck’s trailer, Budensiek said. Woods’ car then rolled onto its driver’s side and he crawled out.

The sheriff said Woods was ‘cooperative, but [was] not trying to incriminate himself.’

He said Woods has the right to refuse the urine test and that authorities ‘will never get definitive results with what he was impaired on.’

This was the fourth time Woods has been involved in a car crash. In February 2021, his SUV ran off a coastal road in Los Angeles at a high rate of speed, leading to multiple leg and ankle injuries.

Woods said later doctors considered amputation. He also previously sustained multiple injuries to his left knee and his back during his golf career.

It is the second time Woods has been arrested for a DUI not as a result of the influence of alcohol.

He said he took a bad mix of painkillers when authorities found him in 2017 asleep behind the wheel of his car, the engine still running and its driver’s side damaged. Woods pleaded guilty then to reckless driving.

Opposition Leader Urges Quick Action on Fuel Price Reductions Amidst Calls for Transparent Pricing

0

The nation’s consumer watchdog has issued a stern warning to service stations, urging them to promptly reflect recent fuel excise cuts in their pricing. This call for action comes as the opposition leader demands increased clarity regarding the ongoing fuel crisis.

On Thursday night, Liberal leader Angus Taylor delivered a concise three-minute address. This move followed his critique of Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s decision to speak to the nation via a televised broadcast.

Taylor highlighted his role in pressuring the government to enact a temporary reduction in the fuel excise—from 26.3 cents—announced earlier this week. This decision comes amid mounting tensions in the Middle East and the continued closure of the Strait of Hormuz.

“The government has only managed to stir up confusion,” Taylor remarked. “However, they should be acknowledged for adopting the coalition’s initiative to reduce the fuel tax, even if their decision came later than desired.”

“In times of crisis, Australians expect their government to be transparent and provide them with daily factual updates,” he added.

“The prime minister and treasurer must use the upcoming budget not just to respond to this crisis, but to set our country up for the future.”

Before Taylor’s statement, Albanese also announced a further 5.7 cent-per-litre reduction off their fuel, which will last until June 30.

Fuel prices have already started to fall after the initial cut went into effect on Wednesday.

As of 8am AEDT on Thursday, data from FuelWatch Australia showed average unleaded 91 prices were 21c cheaper in Sydney and 24c cheaper in Melbourne than they were on Tuesday.

Diesel prices were 16 cents cheaper in Sydney and 25 cents cheaper in Melbourne.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) issued a warning to fuel retailers not to delay passing on the excise cuts.

“We are concerned that pricing changes may be used to obfuscate a failure by retailers to fully pass on the reduction in the excise and, if that is the case, we will take appropriate enforcement action,” watchdog chair Gina Cass-Gottlieb said.

The watchdog said legal notices had been sent to some distributors, asking them to stack up their reasons for imposing fuel surcharges in some locations.

Before Taylor’s address, the opposition leader criticised Albanese’s and said it “could have been a social media post”.

Albanese defended his decision to call for calm in a fuel crisis in a televised national address, saying he wanted to speak to Australians directly to combat misinformation.

In the speech, the prime minister warned there might be difficult times ahead and urged people to go about their Easter long weekend as normal.

He urged people to consider getting public transport instead of driving and told motorists heading on road trips over Easter to take only as much fuel as they needed.

In a National Press Club speech that followed, Albanese said he chose to broadcast the address to curb misinformation online.

“People … used to get their information from Seven or Nine or ABC or Ten or SBS … and there would be a consistency about it,” he said.

“Now they’re getting it on their device — it’s telling them all sorts of things that aren’t true.”

He said he understood Australians’ fears when they heard about the economic impacts of the fuel crisis, but reassured the response would not be reminiscent of stringent COVID lockdowns.

He also announced a $1 billion fund to help businesses affected by the conflict, and said the money would be dispersed through interest-free loans.

Augusta’s Election Funding Shortfall Sparks Urgent Contingency Budget Debate

AUGUSTA, Ga— On the final day of early voting for the House District 130 run-off, voter turnout remained sluggish, reflecting an election that hasn’t exactly been a financial triumph. The costs incurred have far outweighed the participation.

“Considering the special election’s $60,000 price tag, we’re looking at about $35 per vote,” noted Elections Director Travis Doss. It’s a calculation that hints at the financial strain this election has placed on the city.

The run-off election is set to add nearly $40,000 more to the already hefty bill. Since this is classified as a special election, these expenses weren’t accounted for in the city’s budget. Consequently, Doss had to appeal to city commissioners for additional funds.

“In a year marked by financial challenges, requesting funds from the contingency budget is particularly difficult,” Doss explained. “It appears that commissioners are frequently tapping into these reserves.”

Despite the financial hurdles, the city prudently set aside $1.2 million at the beginning of the year to cover unforeseen costs, aiming to navigate such unexpected financial demands more smoothly.

“Now we have to deduct this amount as well as some other deductions that we are currently processing in the system now, we are dwindling those funds away early this first quarter,” said City Administrator Tameka Allen.

And if the May primaries require a run-off that is also not budgeted, that could cost another $200-thousand.

This has the administrator saying in a perfect world she would like to have put more into the contingency fund.

“I’d rather have at least $2 million in contingency at the beginning of the year, but unfortunately, we were able to only have the one point two,” said Allen.

Elections officials will be keeping an eye adding up the votes as the city keeps an eye on the contingency fund going down.

Ex-Edgar County Principals Face Embezzlement Allegations

EDGAR COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — Two former principals from the Paris Union School District 95 in Edgar County have faced court proceedings, following their indictment on charges of embezzling funds from a federal program.

According to court documents from the Central District of Illinois, Megan Carroll, who once led Carolyn Wenz Elementary School, and Kyle Shay, the former principal of Mayo Middle School, were each charged with a single count of embezzlement on March 17. The indictment alleges they misappropriated “at least $5,000” from the district.

Jealous Rage Unleashed: Ex-Boyfriend Charged in Brutal Acid Attack on College Student

0

An ex-boyfriend, driven by jealousy, is accused of orchestrating a terrifying acid attack that left a New York college student severely burned and disfigured. Following the incident, he allegedly taunted her about her injuries, according to prosecutors.

Shaquille Coke, aged 31, declared his innocence during a court appearance in Nassau County on March 24. He faces several charges, including first-degree assault, for his alleged role in a 2021 attack on a 21-year-old woman near her home in Elmont. Nassau County police apprehended him in Brooklyn.

Nassau County District Attorney Anne Donnelly characterized Coke as a “jealous, possessive, and spurned ex-boyfriend” who purportedly masterminded the heinous assault after their romantic relationship came to an end.

“Together with his accomplice, Shaquille Coke is accused of executing a cruel and spiteful attack to disfigure the young woman who broke off their relationship,” Donnelly stated.

According to prosecutors, the attack unfolded on March 17, 2021, as the victim returned home from work with her mother. While the victim gathered belongings from their car, an alleged accomplice, identified as 29-year-old Terrell Campbell, approached wearing a mask, gloves and a hooded sweatshirt.

Campbell allegedly threw a cup of liquid later determined to be 70% sulfuric acid directly at the woman.

Officials say the acid seared her face and body, poured down her throat and splashed into her eye. She collapsed on the front lawn and was rushed to a hospital, where she was treated for second- and third-degree burns to her face, arms, shoulders, eye and esophagus.

The attack left the victim, Nafiah Ikram, nearly blind and struggling to speak, eat and drink in the immediate aftermath, according to 2021 reporting by the New York Post.

At the time, her father described the assault as a calculated ambush, not a random act of violence.

“No, it’s not a random attack, it’s a planned attack,” Sheikh Ikram told the Post, saying the suspect appeared to wait for his daughter to return home from work before striking.

Ikram, then a 21-year-old Hofstra University student who aspired to become a doctor, suffered devastating burns when the liquid was thrown directly at her face, her family said.

“She is very scared,” her father said in the days after the attack, adding she was unable to shower or care for herself due to her injuries.

The family, who said they had no known enemies, pleaded for answers as investigators searched for the attacker.

At the time, Padma Lakshmi, whom Ikram’s father worked for as a driver on Bravo’s “Top Chef,” shared the family’s fundraiser, which drew widespread support as they faced mounting medical costs.

Authorities say the case took years to build, involving extensive video evidence, cellphone data and interviews.

Investigators allege Coke met with Campbell shortly before the attack and helped coordinate it, possibly acting as the driver of the getaway vehicle.

Prosecutors also say Coke engaged in a disturbing pattern of harassment before and after the assault.

He allegedly created a fake Snapchat account to question the victim about her relationship and later used a spoofed phone number to send her vulgar messages — even mocking her injuries by calling her “Freddy Kruger.”

Coke also allegedly told police he wanted something “devastating” to happen to the victim and that “karma” would take care of her.

“Coke said that ‘karma’ would get Nafiah, but justice has come for him,” Donnelly said.

Campbell, who was arrested earlier this year, has also pleaded not guilty to similar charges and remains in custody.

Coke is being held without bail and his next court appearance is scheduled for April 20, 2026.

Both men, who attended high school together in Brooklyn, face up to 25 years behind bars if convicted.

Estranged Husband’s Secretive ‘Hunting’ Trip Revealed to Be Deadly Sniper Attack on Wife, Court Documents Show

Background: Kerri Ann Abatti”s home in Pinetop, Arizona (KPNX/YouTube). Inset: Michael Abatti (Mike Abatti Farms).

A prominent California farmer is facing charges of first-degree murder after allegedly killing his estranged wife amid a contentious divorce involving a $200 million trust. According to court documents, Michael Abatti, 63, purportedly told his family he was going “hunting in the desert” before traveling to Arizona, where he allegedly used a high-powered rifle to fatally shoot Kerri Ann Abatti, 59, last November.

The shocking details emerged this week from documents obtained by the Los Angeles Times. The documents, unsealed following a court hearing, reveal that on the night of Kerri Ann’s death, her family tried in vain to reach Michael Abatti to inform him of the tragic event. Family members told police he had claimed he was “hunting in the desert” at the time, as noted in a police affidavit.

On the day of the incident, Abatti’s Ford pickup was tracked by license plate readers heading south in El Centro, California, leaving a well-known hunting area around 1:30 p.m. The vehicle was later recorded in Globe, Arizona, at approximately 6:30 p.m. local time, according to the affidavit.

Authorities responded to a call at Kerri Ann Abatti’s home in Pinetop, Arizona, around 9:20 p.m., where they discovered her dead from a gunshot wound. Her nephew, who resided with her, reported hearing a loud noise before finding her in the dining room, bleeding and unresponsive, the affidavit details.

Deputies responded to Kerri Ann Abatti’s home in the area of Bruin Way and Branding Iron Loop in Pinetop, Arizona, around 9:20 p.m. and found her dead from a gunshot wound. Her nephew, who lived at the residence with Kerri Ann, reported hearing a loud bang before finding her in their dining room “bleeding from the face,” the affidavit says.

Police allegedly found a bullet hole in one of the dining room windows but no other evidence of a shooting or gun inside the residence. Investigators determined that Kerri Ann Abatti was shot by a person outside the home after a gun-sniffing dog alerted cops to a scent roughly 30 yards away. Police believe a “higher-powered rifle” was used, according to the affidavit.

Michael Abatti’s truck was caught on license plate readers in Globe, Ariz., at 11:41 p.m. and then again at his hunting grounds in California at 4:40 a.m., the affidavit says.

Police believe Abatti made the seven-hour drive to allegedly shoot and kill his estranged wife, then he “immediately returned to California” to try and take his own life.

“He attempted to kill himself because of an incident involving his wife,” Abatti told EMS workers after he called 911 and they responded, per the affidavit.

According to the Times and Associated Press, the Abattis separated in 2023 and Kerri Ann Abatti moved to the Pinetop house, which was their vacation home. She had filed for divorce, and proceedings were ongoing at the time of her death. They are said to have disagreed over money she was owed, with a $200 million trust being involved, the Times reports.

“I am barely scraping by each month, am handling all of the manual labor on our large property in Arizona and continuing its upkeep,” Kerri Ann Abatti reportedly wrote in court filings earlier this year. Michael Abatti, for his part, said he couldn’t afford to raise her monthly spousal support from $5,000 to her requested $30,000 due to two bad farming years. He eventually agreed to pay $6,400 a month.

The couple reportedly married in 1992 and had three children. In addition to having homes in California and Arizona, they also held ranch land in Wyoming, vacationed in Hawaii, Italy, and Switzerland, and sent their children to private school.

Mike Abatti Farms, which is based in El Centro, California, “has been in the agriculture industry for over 100 years,” according to its website.

Tiger Woods Expresses Hopeful Intentions to Compete in 2026 Masters Tournament

0

Tiger Woods was eyeing a return to The Masters until his arrest for DUI on Friday derailed those plans.

In bodycam footage obtained by The Post, Woods is seen conversing with officers shortly after crashing his Range Rover SUV.

During the exchange, an officer inquired whether Woods intended to compete in The Masters, slated to begin on April 9.

“I’m hoping to,” Woods replied optimistically.

In the background, a worker tasked with towing the damaged vehicle humorously interjected to the officers, “That depends on y’all.”

“Don’t depend on me,” the officer replied.

Augusta National chairman Fred Ridley confirmed in a statement Tuesday that Woods will not be playing in The Masters.

“Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters tournament full support Tiger Woods as he focuses on his well-being,” Ridley said. “Although Tiger will not be joining us in person next week, his presence will be felt here in Augusta.”

The five-time green jacket winner’s comments following the crash came moments after police asked the legendary golfer if he needed anything from the flipped vehicle.

Woods’ longtime manager and close friend, Rob McNamara, who was at the scene, told police that he needed the 50-year-old’s golf clubs.

“I understand. Worth more than my house,” the officer jokingly replied.

“Putter’s worth more than all our houses,” McNamara said while Woods was in the back of the police vehicle.

“I won 14 majors with it,” Woods then boasted, though it’s unclear if the putter he’s referencing is the one left in his car.

The bodycam footage also showed Woods boasting to officers that he called President Donald Trump following the crash.

“Yeah, I was just talking with the president,” Woods casually told the sheriff’s deputy.

On Tuesday evening, Woods revealed that he would be seeking treatment after pleading not guilty in Martin County, Florida court.

“I know and understand the seriousness of the situation I find myself in today,” he wrote in a statement shared on social media. “I am stepping away for a period of time to seek treatment and focus on my health. This is necessary in order for me to prioritize my well-being and work toward lasting recovery.

“I’m committed to taking the time needed to return in a healthier, stronger, and more focused place, both personally and professionally. I appreciate your understanding and support, and ask for privacy for my family, loved ones and myself at this time.”

Shocking E-Scooter Incident: Brisbane Woman Targeted in Aggressive Assault

0

On a seemingly ordinary afternoon, 23-year-old Ruby Fraser was out for a run along the walking track near William Jolly Bridge by the Brisbane River. Little did she know that her routine jog on Tuesday would be interrupted by an unsettling encounter.

As Fraser paced along, she suddenly felt a jarring pull on her headphones. Police reports indicate that two men on e-scooters made an attempt to snatch the headphones right off her, before resorting to spitting at her and hurling verbal abuse. This unsettling incident occurred near Lang Parade in Auchenflower.

The perpetrators hurriedly fled the location, leaving Fraser in a state of shock. Although physically unharmed, the emotional impact has been profound for the young woman. In an interview with Today, Fraser expressed her distress, sharing, “I’m pretty shattered, feeling pretty defeated the last few days. It’s been a tough few days.”

Her sense of security has been deeply shaken, leaving her apprehensive about venturing out for runs, a pastime that once brought her joy and peace.

“I’m pretty shattered, feeling pretty defeated the last few days. It’s beem a tough few days,” Fraser said.

“Then they came up within a metre of me, verbally abusing me, projectile spitting on me, giving me the middle finger and saying some pretty hurtful things.

“The thought of going on that run alone again anytime soon just brings me major anxiety.”

Fraser was able to quickly move to safety by hiding out at a nearby apartment complex.

She called the police and officers began a search for the two young offenders, but were unable to find them.

“I was luckily able to escape up a ramp up the main road and get away from them,” Fraser added.

“It was lucky I was there, because there’s kilometres [on that track] with no escape.”

The two offenders are described as being in their mid to late teens.

The first is described as having a fair complexion with a slim build, around 160 centimetres tall, and wearing a red hoodie and black pants.

The second is also described as having a fair complexion, a proportionate build, approximately 180 centimetres tall and was last seen wearing a black windbreaker jacket and black pants.

An investigation into the incident remains ongoing and police have urged anyone with information to come forward.

As anticipation builds for the 2026 March Madness tournament, alumni from the famed 2005 Final Four squad are rallying behind the current Illinois team, hoping for a long-awaited championship victory.

“The pain is a constant companion,” reflected Dee Brown. “Winning it all was our ultimate goal, and falling short still aches.”

Echoing this sentiment, Roger Powell Jr. shared, “I’ve experienced the disappointment twice, both as a player and as an assistant coach. Missing out on the title is incredibly tough.”

Both Powell and Brown, instrumental in the 2005 journey, are now looking back at their memorable run while placing their hopes in the new Illini team, confident in their potential to succeed where they once fell short.

“You can’t hide togetherness, you can’t hide,” Brown said. “They embrace that they have a freshman leading them, they’re embracing their roles, and they’re playing their best basketball at the right time.”

Brown and Powell are both head coaches now and cherish the bond basketball brought them, so they offered this advice as the Illini shoot for their one shining moment.

“They need to document it, they need to embrace it, bring your family around it,” Brown said. “It’s a really good moment and its really hard to do. I just hope that they understand that.”

“It goes so fast. Take it in, the national anthem, the practice with the fans,” Powell said. “Don’t allow this moment to pass by. Get the moment, don’t let it pass you by, but then it’s business and its payback on Saturday.”

Engineers Uncover Significant Structural Gap Beneath Rialto Apartments: Safety Concerns Arise

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Recent investigations into structural issues at the Rialto Apartments in Orange County have uncovered a significant gap beneath a section of the building, which engineers suspect contributed to the recent evacuation of residents.

In a report dated April 1, engineers from Simpson Gumpertz & Heger detailed their discovery of “a gap between the soil and the ground-level slab” beneath a critical load-bearing wall located between units 45 and 47.

The engineers noted that this gap measures approximately 3 feet deep and spans 15 feet in diameter, raising significant concerns about the building’s structural integrity.

“Currently, we suspect that the absence of soil support beneath the slab-on-grade between Stacks 45 and 47 has led to a downward shift or similar movement of the slab and wall,” the report elaborates.

Moreover, the investigation revealed additional gaps between the concrete slab and the underlying soil across the building, with these voids varying in size from 0.5 to 4 inches, further highlighting the potential for structural compromise.

The Rialto Apartments building was evacuated on March 19 after residents reported hearing a loud “popping” noise and found some doors jammed shut, according to the engineering report. The letter says the Orlando Fire Department determined other doors in the 45 and 47 apartment stacks were also jammed and ordered the evacuation of the entire building.

The engineering firm said its initial observations found cracks in the drywall in stacks 45 and 47, along with jamming doors and floors that sloped toward the shared bearing wall between those units.

The engineers said the current priority is installing temporary shoring supports below the ground-level slab in the 45/47 stack.

They also said the building is considered safe for worker access, but not for people to live in while the investigation and repair process continues.

“The building is currently safe for worker access, and there is no concern regarding imminent failure of the structure,” the letter states. “However, the building is not suited for continuous resident occupancy while investigation and eventual remedial activities are underway.”

Orange County’s Division of Building Safety said in a statement that “no occupancy” notices remain posted on the affected structures until repairs are permitted, inspected and occupancy is reinstated, or until an engineer deems the building safe to occupy.

County officials said the investigating engineer has ordered temporary shoring work and that the county has asked for a detailed list of required emergency repairs. Once that work is complete, documentation will have to show the temporary repairs or shoring were installed as directed before the county may inspect them.

The county also said the subsurface investigation and structural analysis will continue after that. The preliminary engineer letter states the anticipated duration of that work is uncertain but may exceed 60 days.

Once the investigation is complete, engineered repair plans will still need to be submitted as part of a permit application, according to the county. Officials said the process would then continue through permitting, inspections and support work until a final inspection and certificate of occupancy are issued.

The engineering letter says the investigation is ongoing and the findings are subject to change.
