Ohio Highway Drama: Vehicle’s Close Call with Driver Captured in Heart-Stopping Video

0

A dramatic video clip has surfaced from the Ohio Department of Transportation, showcasing an incredibly close call on an Ohio highway when a car barely missed a driver by inches on Monday.

The incident occurred on Columbus’ I-670, where the driver was standing beside his SUV, positioned adjacent to the traffic flow after evidently colliding with a highway barrier.

In the footage, a sedan can be seen veering towards both the man and his vehicle. Reacting swiftly, he leaps onto the highway median just as the sedan crashes forcefully into his SUV, capturing a tense moment of near-miss tragedy.

In a 911 call reported by ABC6 news, it was revealed that during the collision, a passenger was inside the SUV.

The passenger told 911 operators that their vehicle had lost a tire and hit the highway divider before the crash.

“It’s off to the side but we are right in the turnstile, and it’s really worrying me because we’re going to get hit,” the passenger told operators, according to ABC6.

News Media contacted the Ohio Department of Transportation for updates on the conditions of the passengers involved.

A department spokesman highlighted the incident as a safety lesson, noting that the lane the impacted vehicle was in was closed and should not have had any other cars driving in it.

“There will be a green arrow over it if it’s opened, a red X if it is closed. In this case, it was an emergency shoulder, so the person who crashed was stopped on the shoulder of the highway. They were doing the right thing. There should be nobody driving in that lane,” Ohio Department of Transportation press secretary Matt Bruning told reporters.

The emergency lane, Bruning explained to News Media, was a “SmartLane,” a highway feature in Ohio that allows the state to convert the wide shoulder into a temporary travel lane as needed. The SmartLane was closed at the time of the crash.

“Don’t drive in a closed lane. If you are going to drive on the highway, allow that extra space between you and the vehicle in front of you so you have time to react and space to react if something might happen,” Bruning concluded.

Dodgers’ Tarik Skubal Eyes Emotional Tigers Reunion in Free Agency Quest

0

Tarik Skubal recently provided a subtle reminder to Los Angeles Dodgers fans that his stay might be temporary. Acquired with much anticipation, the talented pitcher remains a potential rental for the powerhouse team.

On the Pardon My Take podcast, the two-time Cy Young winner revealed he’d be open to a reunion with the Tigers this winter.

“I have a lot of love for those guys, so I’m hoping they’ll be involved in November,” Skubal expressed, his words sparking curiosity. “We’ll see what unfolds then,” he added, leaving the future open-ended.

In a strategic move, the Dodgers sent three promising prospects to the Detroit Tigers just before the August 3 trade deadline, securing the veteran left-hander. This transaction positioned them favorably in the race to secure Skubal as a free agent.

Experts anticipate Skubal could command a massive contract surpassing $400 million during free agency—a record-breaking investment for any interested franchise. The Dodgers, already in the spotlight as potential frontrunners, could finalize such a deal, yet Skubal has not ruled out returning to his roots with the team he played over six seasons for.

This offseason promises significant developments in Major League Baseball, particularly as the current collective bargaining agreement is on the brink of expiration on December 1. Intense negotiations are underway between league officials and the Players Association to establish a new agreement extending into 2027 and beyond.

An impending lockout would have several implications on Skubal’s upcoming free agency. It is unclear what route his agent, Scott Boras, will take to get the pitcher a landmark deal.

Earlier this week, Boras told the California Post that the ace’s arrival to LA would be beneficial for both Skubal and the team.

“It’s great for both the Dodgers and for Tarik that they both get to know one another quite well and determine more about what the future may hold for them,” Boras said.

While the Dodgers may have an advantage to land Skubal in free agency because of the trade, it’s clear the 29-year-old still has the Tigers on his mind heading into the offseason.

Former NBA Athlete Pioneers Historic WNBA Draft Entry, Igniting Transgender Inclusion Debate

Former NBA player Enes Kanter Freedom has announced his intention to enter the WNBA Draft in 2027, injecting himself into the ongoing debate about transgender athletes in sports.

Freedom, who stands at 6ft 10in and played in the NBA for 11 seasons, shared the announcement with his fans through a post on social media on Friday afternoon.

In a video, the former New York Knicks and Boston Celtics star said: ‘After careful consideration and reviewing the current eligibility guidelines, I’m officially declaring myself a @WNBA prospect.

“If simply declaring your identity is all that’s needed, then I fulfill every requirement necessary to join the WNBA,” Kanter Freedom asserted.

“My team and I have thoroughly reviewed the WNBA’s rules on eligibility and self-identification. According to the current guidelines, I am eligible and thus officially announcing my candidacy for the 2027 WNBA draft this coming April.”

“I understand that my decision will provoke diverse reactions within the community. However, my intention is not to ridicule, offend, or undermine anyone’s personal choices or identities,” he emphasized.

Freedom’s announcement comes amid the WNBA’s bitter culture war after Sophie Cunningham advocated for restrictions to ‘protect young girls’ from ‘biological men’ in sports

‘I’m simply asking that the current rules be applied equally to everyone – the rules that represent the very values many WNBA players and coaches have publicly advocated for.

‘My team and I are prepared to ensure these guidelines are applied equally, consistently, and without exception, and I look forward to the #WNBA honoring its stated principles. See you at training camp.’

The 34-year-old was previously picked third overall at the 2011 NBA Draft, before enjoying a career that took him to the Jazz, Thunder, Knicks, Trail Blazers and Celtics. He has not played a professional game since 2022.

Freedom’s post quickly went viral on social media as a number of political commentators threw their support behind the NBA veteran and his decision.

Riley Gaines was among those to respond to the post, writing: ‘Genius. Perfect. Waiting to see which WNBA team recruits’.

Similarly, Piers Morgan wrote on X: ‘Brilliant… now let’s see how keen the @WNBA stars are for men to play in their League.’

Clay Travis, meanwhile, who recently offered to pay $10 million to WNBA champions the Las Vegas Aces if they can beat a high school boys basketball team of his choosing, wrote: ‘Amazing. Well done.’

Freedom’s declaration comes amid an ongoing culture war within the WNBA, sparked by Indiana Fever star Sophie Cunningham after she said in an interview with ESPN that she wants to ‘protect young girls’ from ‘biological men’ in sports.

Since making the comments, the sports world has been left divided.

While some, such as Riley Gaines and Stephen A. Smith, have seemingly sided with the Fever star, others have openly criticized her and booed her on the court.

Recently, the bitter culture war deepened after Golden State Valkyries star Gabby Williams claimed she would happily welcome a trans player to her team.

‘I think trans rights, right now, is our new battle,’ Williams said in a recent interview, adding: ‘We see people’s trans rights being stripped away from them; there’s a lot of discourse around trans athletes and what they can compete in.

‘I would welcome a trans athlete on my team or against my team, anytime,’ Williams added. ‘I don’t think it’s a problem in the world.’

In the wake of Cunningham’s comments, Minnesota Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve made her feelings on the topic extremely clear on Sunday – after opting to wear a ‘Trans Kids Belong’ t-shirt on the sidelines of their game against the Fever.

Elsewhere on the day, meanwhile, Gaines showed her support attending a Fever game and bringing a sign for Cunningham – before allegedly being told to put it away by WNBA staff.

The sign read: ‘Sophie, Thank You – A Girl Mom.’

However, during the game, retired gymnast and friend of Gaines, Jennifer Sey, revealed that the political activist had been told to put her sign down by staff.

Gaines swiftly reposted Sey’s post on X and added: ‘There were no fewer than 1000 signs in the arena. Most with trans paraphernalia. The only person who was told to put her sign down by WNBA officials was me. Wonder why.’

In the end, Gaines was able to keep hold of her sign and even had Cunningham hold it as they posed for a courtside picture together after the Lynx’s 108-100 win.

Gaines, Cunningham and Sey all posed together, with the two supporters performing Cunningham’s now-iconic ‘point’ towards the camera.

Gaines also shared a picture with Cunningham on Instagram, writing: ‘I show up for @sophie_cham because she shows up for my daughter.’

Though she didn’t comment on it, the Fever star did take time to like Gaines’ post.

Terrifying Missouri Dispatch Audio Unveils Hidden Survivor in Deadly Neighbor Shooting

0

A teenage girl’s desperate attempt to stay alive involved hiding inside a closet as she witnessed a harrowing scene unfold next door. Her elderly neighbor had shot and killed her friend and that friend’s mother in Missouri, as captured in 911 dispatch audio obtained by News Media.

It was a seemingly ordinary evening on July 25 when 73-year-old Robert Winkelman approached the home of his neighbor in House Springs, Missouri, at around 8:30 p.m. Seeking answers, he confronted 38-year-old Jessica Lashly about ongoing issues at her residence, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

The situation escalated when Lashly attempted to respond, only for Winkelman to draw a gun and fatally shoot her in the head. Her 17-year-old daughter, Jersey Greer, sprang into action to assist her mother, but the violent encounter turned tragic as Winkelman shot the teenager in the head as well, authorities explained. Despite chasing a third individual who managed to escape unharmed, no additional shots were fired. Both Lashly and Greer succumbed to their injuries a few days later at the hospital.

Revealing the chilling nature of the event, the newly obtained 911 dispatch audio highlights the fear experienced during the attack, as a dispatcher noted that the 17-year-old’s friend was frantically taking shelter in a closet at the time of the shootings.

“We do have a visual victim hiding in a closet, advising that her friend got shot. We do that law in route, but they are not on scene,” the dispatcher said.

A dispatcher said two gunshots could be heard in the background of the call, which was placed by someone who reported a woman was struggling to breathe.

“Received a call, no longer receiving a response from anyone on the phone. We did hear shots in the background,” the dispatcher said. “It sounds like possibly two gunshots went off.”

Robert Winkelman, 73, walked to his neighbor’s home and opened fire, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office. He later died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. (Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office)

“It’s unclear what’s going on at this time,” he added.

When deputies arrived at Winkelman’s home and moved to confront him a short time later, he turned the gun on himself.

He died at a hospital Aug. 2, according to investigators, who said he would have been charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of armed criminal action.

Reports state that investigators said Winkleman initially went to Lashly’s home to complain about noise. A spokesman for the sheriff’s office described the horrifying incident to News Media as a “dispute between neighbors.”

Investigators learned that Winkelman had “ongoing frustrations” with activities at Lashly’s home.

Justice Greer, the teenage victim’s twin sister, told KSDK, “She was literally just the funniest person ever.”

“She could make anybody laugh. She was really supportive about anything and everything. She could always tell when someone was sad or needed uplifting, and she was always the one to do it.

“Jersey’s last moments, she was trying to save my mom. It just shows how brave she is, and I hope I can be half as brave as she is,” she said.

Justice Greer said Lashly was a single mother who did all she could to provide for her twin daughters.

“It was always just us three,” Justice said. “It’s going to be really hard because that’s all I’m used to.”

Abby Feldmann, who was Justice and Jersey Greer’s coach in lacrosse, told KSDK Jersey was someone who could “change your whole perspective on life.”

“There’s not one person who would refuse to follow her,” Feldmann said. “Everyone’s behind her. She’s really an amazing girl.”

Ex-Boyfriend Surrenders for Murder of Missing Fresno Mother, Police Confirm

FRESNO, Calif. — A former lover of a Fresno mother, who had been missing, is now arrested and charged with her murder.

The case unfolded on August 4 when Tatyana McIntyre’s ex-husband raised the alarm after learning that her daughter had not been collected from school and he was unable to contact her.

McIntyre was last reportedly seen at a property linked to Jeffrey Vernon Michaels, according to official records.

An ex-boyfriend of a missing Fresno mother is now in custody and accused of murdering her.

Upon executing a search warrant at the residence, investigators discovered McIntyre’s body, which bore multiple lacerations.

Authorities located McIntyre’s vehicle on Tuesday night, abandoned in an orchard.

Authorities say Michaels initially left Fresno before contacting police and turning himself in Thursday evening.

According to McIntyre’s sister, she leaves behind seven children, including two with Michaels.

Revitalize Your Back: 4 Daily Exercises That Outperform Gym Machines After 50

0

Is your back starting to feel less sturdy after hitting the age of 50? Discover four effective daily exercises that can fortify your back muscles, all without the use of gym machines.

>

A resilient back muscle structure can initially give you the sensation of standing taller before you even notice an increase in strength. For many individuals, this is among the first benefits they observe after diligently incorporating these exercises into their daily routine. Enhanced posture becomes more natural to maintain, shoulder alignment improves, and moving throughout your day begins to feel less restricted and more fluid.

While gym machinery can be beneficial, enhancing back strength beyond the age of 55 demands a dynamic approach that extends beyond preset pathways. Your back muscles are tasked with holding your posture, providing hip support, and working in tandem with your core as you move. Therefore, implementing straightforward exercises with proper technique can significantly enhance your strength.

I recommend these four exercises because they effectively target the back without complicating the routine into a strenuous gym session. These movements focus on spine extension, posture strengthening, pulling power, and the essential hip hinge motion. By maintaining manageable weights and patiently completing the repetitions, you will gradually build up your back muscles.

Incorporate these exercises into your routine most days if you maintain light and controlled movements. However, should you decide to increase the intensity on exercises like the dumbbell Romanian deadlift or band row, ensure you allow a rest day for recovery before embarking on another intense session.

Back Extensions

Back extensions are a direct way to rebuild the muscles that support your spine. After 55, that support can make your back feel stronger during daily movement and help posture feel less tiring. This exercise fits well because it targets the area people often notice when their back starts feeling weaker: the muscles that help keep the torso upright.

Muscles Trained: Spinal erectors, glutes, hamstrings.

How to Do It

  1. Lie face down on the floor with your legs extended.
  2. Place your hands lightly behind your head or by your sides.
  3. Brace your core and slightly squeeze your glutes.
  4. Lift your chest a few inches off the floor.
  5. Pause briefly at the top.
  6. Lower back down with control.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 2 to 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps.

Best Variations: Smaller-range back extensions, prone cobra holds, stability ball back extensions.

Form Tip: Keep your neck long and lift only as high as you can without pinching your lower back.

4 Standing Exercises That Firm Outer Thighs Faster Than Leg Presses After 60

Glute Bridge Hold

The glute bridge hold supports back strength by bringing the hips into the equation. Stronger glutes can take pressure off the lower back and help the backside work as a better unit. For anyone trying to restore back muscle, this move adds a useful base without needing a machine or heavy weight.

Muscles Trained: Glutes, hamstrings, lower back, core.

How to Do It

  1. Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor.
  2. Place your arms by your sides.
  3. Brace your core.
  4. Press through your heels and lift your hips.
  5. Hold the top position while squeezing your glutes.
  6. Lower your hips with control.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 2 to 3 holds of 20 to 30 seconds.

Best Variations: Shorter bridge holds, single-leg bridge holds, bridge marches.

Form Tip: Keep your ribs down so the movement comes from your hips, not an arched lower back.

Standing Band Row

The standing band row helps rebuild the upper-back strength that supports posture, shoulder position, and daily pulling movements. It’s especially useful after 55 because it trains the back in an upright position and can be adjusted easily with a lighter or heavier band. That makes it practical for daily training without needing a full gym setup.

Muscles Trained: Upper back, lats, rear shoulders, biceps.

How to Do It

  1. Anchor a resistance band at chest height.
  2. Hold one end of the band in each hand.
  3. Step back until the band has light tension.
  4. Stand tall and brace your core.
  5. Pull your elbows back toward your ribs.
  6. Slowly return your arms to the starting position.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 2 to 3 sets of 10 to 15 reps.

Best Variations: Seated band rows, single-arm band rows, pause band rows.

Form Tip: Keep your shoulders relaxed as you pull.

The 12-Minute Morning Routine That Fights Muscle Loss Better Than Protein Shakes After 50

Dumbbell RDL

The dumbbell RDL strengthens the back side of the body through a hinge pattern, which is one of the most useful movements for restoring back muscles. It gives the hamstrings, glutes, and spinal erectors a bigger job than most machines provide. This move also helps build strength that carries over to bending and lifting with more confidence.

Muscles Trained: Hamstrings, glutes, spinal erectors, core.

How to Do It

  1. Stand tall with a dumbbell in each hand.
  2. Hold the weights in front of your thighs.
  3. Soften your knees and brace your core.
  4. Push your hips back as the dumbbells lower along your legs.
  5. Stop when you feel a stretch through your hamstrings.
  6. Drive your hips forward to stand tall.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 2 to 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps.

Best Variations: Bodyweight hip hinges, kettlebell RDLs, single-dumbbell RDLs.

Form Tip: Keep the dumbbells close to your legs so your back can stay strong and steady.

4 Wall Exercises That Flatten Lower Belly Faster Than Sit-Ups After 55

How to Use These Back Exercises After 55

Back training works best when the reps feel controlled from start to finish. You don’t need to chase soreness or load every set like a max effort. The goal is to give your back frequent practice holding strong positions, pulling well, and working with your hips. Keep the first few sessions easy enough that you finish feeling better than when you started. Once the movements feel familiar, add a little more tension, a few more reps, or a slower pace.

  • Start with bodyweight work: Back extensions and bridge holds help you feel the right muscles before adding load.
  • Use light resistance often: A band row can fit into most days without leaving you beat up.
  • Save heavier RDLs for stronger days: Treat them as the most demanding move in the routine.
  • Move through a comfortable range: More range helps only when you can control it.
  • Build the habit first: A few clean sets done regularly will beat a long back workout you rarely repeat.

Bombshell Revelations: RFK Jr Unveils New Details in Kennedy Heiress Death Mystery

0

In a heartfelt commemoration marking the anniversary of his niece’s passing, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. disclosed that her untimely demise in 2019 resulted from a fentanyl overdose.

On Friday, the Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary paid a poignant tribute to the memory of Saoirse Kennedy Hill. In doing so, he shared previously undisclosed details surrounding the circumstances of her death at the age of 22 in 2019.

Despite a typographical error, spelling her name as ‘Saorsie’, Kennedy wrote a touching message: ‘Remembering my beloved niece Saorsie Kennedy Hill, a luminous soul who died 7 years ago this week of an accidental fentanyl overdose.’

The tribute featured a selection of photographs capturing Saoirse’s spirit throughout her life, including joyful family portraits and opulent moments from yachting adventures.

Shortly after sharing this heartfelt post with his millions of followers on Instagram, Kennedy opted to delete it. The reasons for its removal or his awareness of disclosing her cause of death remain uncertain.

The Daily Mail has contacted the HHS for comment.

At the time of Saoirse’s passing in August 2019, toxicology reports found methadone, fluoxetine, norfluoxetine, diazepam, nordiazepam and alcohol in her system.

Fluoxetine is an anti-depressant, and diazepam is medication to treat alcohol withdrawal symptoms and alcohol withdrawals.

Saoirse – the granddaughter of assassinated presidential candidate Robert F Kennedy – was found unresponsive at the Kennedy family compound in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts on the night of August 2, 2019.

She was the daughter of Courtney Kennedy Hill and Paul Michael Hill, who was imprisoned in Ireland for 15 years after being falsely accused of involvement in Irish Republican Army (IRA) bombings.

Aged just 22, the heir to the Kennedy dynasty was at home with many of her family members, including grandmother Ethel Kennedy, when she overdosed.

She was raced to Cape Cod Hospital, and she was pronounced dead soon after.

Ethel Kennedy, then-91, shared a heartbreaking statement following Saoirse’s death, saying that ‘the world is a little less beautiful today.’

Saoirse had been open about her struggles with mental illness, depression and anxiety, including sharing an op-ed in her student newspaper at the prestigious Deerfield Academy in 2016.

She wrote at the time that her depression ‘took root in the beginning of my middle school years and will be with me for the rest of my life.’

The political scion indicated that the weight of her family name wore on her, as she said she suffered from ‘deep bouts of sadness that felt like a heavy boulder on my chest.’

Saoirse’s sudden death seven years ago marked one of the most heartbreaking chapter’s in the Kennedy family’s long list of tragedies, which have become commonly known as the ‘Kennedy curse.’

The so-called ‘Kennedy curse’ began with the assassination of President John F. Kennedy in 1963, when he was gunned down in Dallas, Texas by Lee Harvey Oswald.

In the decades since, the family has suffered numerous tragedies and unexpected deaths, including another assassination, four fatal plane crashes, and several overdoses.

Last year, the family was struck by its latest heartbreak as Tatiana Schlossberg, John F. Kennedy’s granddaughter – died from cancer aged just 35.

Arizona Downpour May Reveal Crucial Clues in Decades-Old Nancy Guthrie Abduction Case

0

Recent monsoon activity in Arizona might shed light on the mysterious disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, an 84-year-old woman abducted from her home near Tucson six months prior.

Law enforcement officials were seen combing through the brush surrounding Guthrie’s residence in the Catalina Foothills. This search is part of an ongoing investigation linked to her disappearance on February 1, with no arrests made as of yet.

The torrential rains have potentially shifted the terrain, unearthing or relocating items that could be crucial evidence, according to Bob Krygier, a former lieutenant with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department, who discussed these developments with Fox News.

“Monsoon season began about a month ago here in Tucson, bringing heavy rainfall that alters the landscape significantly,” Krygier explained. “The intense water flow moves and displaces things—rocks are shifted, changing the search area.”

In certain locations, floodwaters have dramatically surged from a few inches to heights of 12 feet, possessing enough power to sweep away cars, trees, rocks, and even individuals.

Ex-lieutenant says floodwaters created a ‘big blender’

‘All that water, it’s rushing fast and it’s taken not only people, but it’s taken cars, it’s taken trees, branches, rocks, all of this stuff, and basically turned it into a big blender,’ Krygier noted.

However, it is also possible that authorities decided just to return to the area to take a fresh look at the crime scene after six months with no leads, the former lieutenant said, noting he was ‘certain that they’ve searched those areas already.’

Alternatively, new leads in the case may have led investigators to search the brush, looking for something specific, Krygier suggested.

The renewed search came as authorities released two chilling ransom notes that were sent to the Guthrie family, including one that alleged the mother of Today Show host Savannah Guthrie died shortly after she was kidnapped and ‘is buried in nature now.’

Both notes initially were sent to Tucson television station 13 News days after Nancy went missing.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Office released both notes in full – one demanding a $4 million ransom and a second, written in a similar tone, claiming Nancy had died, before offering an apology.

Ransom notes contained specific details about Nancy’s home

One of the notes contained specific details about Nancy’s home – a broken floodlight in the backyard and a white smartwatch found on her bedroom floor – that suggested it could be authentic.

The notes, received on February 2 and February 6, both claimed to be from Nancy’s captor and were turned over to the Pima County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI.

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said Saturday that investigators released the notes in the hope that someone would recognize the writer’s distinctive wording, expressions or style.

‘There are a number of pieces of information in these notes that just might jar someone to say, ‘You know, I’ve heard that,’ he said.

Nanos said it remains unclear whether the notes were written by the same person and described the investigation as ‘very active,’ with detectives continuing to review tens of thousands of tips, videos and forensic leads.

‘We’re still here. We are not going away,’ he said. ‘We’ve got a lot of work ahead of us.’

The sheriff’s office also said Friday that two videos recovered from Nancy’s doorbell camera might have been recorded on two separate days.

The FBI has previously released surveillance videos of a masked man who authorities said appeared to tamper with a camera on Nancy’s front porch and block it with a plant. They described the person as a male about 5 feet, 9 inches tall.

Nancy’s fate remains unknown six months on

Authorities are seeking information on anyone who was behaving differently, changed their physical appearance, suddenly left the Tucson area, or had a noticeable or unexplained interest or disinterest in the case.

Meanwhile, it remains unclear whether the 84-year-old may still be alive.

Blood had been found on the front porch of her home in the aftermath of her disappearance, but homicide detectives reportedly ‘gave little regard’ to it for hours.

Instead, investigators brushed off the evidence, suspecting it may have just come from a head bump, nosebleed, or other injury, sources told the Wall Street Journal.

But the blood was eventually collected as evidence and was confirmed to be Nancy’s.

The outlet also reported that when Nancy’s daughter Annie first walked through the address looking for her mother, the back door had been left propped open.

The family is now offering a reward of up to $1 million for information leading to Nancy’s recovery.

Dramatic Traffic Stop: Suspect Speeds Away with Officer Inside, Drags Another Cop Along

0

What began as a routine traffic stop quickly escalated into a nightmarish scene when a suspect allegedly fled the scene with one police officer trapped inside his car and another being dragged alongside the speeding vehicle.

This tumultuous event took place in Eustis, Florida, during the weekend and has left the community in shock.

According to the Eustis Police Department, the trouble began in the early hours of Saturday morning. The suspect, identified as 28-year-old Shakoi Donovan, allegedly drove away with one officer embroiled in the driver’s area of his car, while also dragging a second officer for about 10 to 15 feet along the road.
