Spencer Pratt Urged by Trump to Challenge Alleged LA Mayoral Election Fraud

0

On Friday, President Trump called on Spencer Pratt, a candidate for the mayor of Los Angeles, to challenge the primary election results.

The leader of the Republican party reiterated his recent assertions, alleging that the electoral process in California was manipulated.

“Spencer Pratt… He shouldn’t concede quietly. It is my firm belief that this election was fraudulent,” Trump declared while addressing the Faith & Freedom Coalition.

Trump further likened Pratt’s defeat to a potential loss that could have impacted Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton until he took action.

“And then they attempted to undermine Steve Hilton as well, so I contacted the U.S. attorney and urged them to investigate,” he added.

Earlier in the week, the president had revealed at a rally that he used the controversial turn in Spencer Pratt’s election results to put pressure on a US Attorney in California, claiming it helped saved Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton from a primary loss.

Pratt’s loss — where he had an Election Day second-place lead that slipped after mail ballots were counted — fueled speculation of voter manipulation.

Trump has taken part in that speculation and blasted California’s notoriously slow vote-counting process that can take weeks for fueling that. He has made it known that he wants to target mail voting, which California generously employs.

On Election Day, it seemed Pratt would make the runoff to face off against incumbent Mayor Karen Bass. Instead, socialist city councilmember Nithya Raman surged from late-arriving mail ballots counted days later to secure the last top-two spot for the general election.

Pratt has seemingly conceded the election, but he has insisted he is not going way. He had dropped a bombshell concession video that seemed more like a threat, claiming he has evidence he will reveal that could take Bass or Raman down.

“You think you can get rid of me that easily? I know a lot of dimwitted jerks thought I was in this for a grift. That I was going to roll up and leave town if I didn’t get into city hall,” Pratt had said.

Coligny Beach’s New Portable Camera Sparks Community Debate on Privacy and Safety

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. — The recent installation of a new surveillance camera on a beach in Hilton Head Island has sparked discussions about its implications for safety and privacy.

The portable camera was set up by the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) just near the Coligny Beach access point.

According to representatives from BCSO, the camera is intended as a tool to help prevent crime in the area.

Local businesses have voiced concerns to the sheriff’s office about large gatherings causing disturbances, prompting this measure.

The department emphasizes that the camera serves as a “visual deterrent” to discourage potential disruptions.

This camera system is not permanent according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The town of Hilton Head Island is upgrading its own set of cameras for the Coligny parking lot, Coligny Beach park and some parts of the beach.

The town says access to any video footage from those cameras will be restricted and used “solely for legitimate public safety, law enforcement and emergency response purposes.”

That installation will start next month and be finished in 90 days.

Babysitter Abandons Child for Boyfriend, Authorities Report

In a troubling case from Florida, a woman is facing legal trouble after allegedly leaving a child she was babysitting unattended. During her absence, the child reportedly consumed drugs.

Maribel Plaza, 29, has been released on bond following her arrest for child neglect. The Leesburg Police Department responded to a late-night call from UF Health Hospital in Leesburg on June 19. According to the arrest affidavit accessed by Law&Crime, a neighbor had brought the child to the hospital around 1:30 a.m.

The neighbor explained to authorities that the child appeared at their doorstep around 1 a.m., desperately asking to be taken to the hospital after a fall from a bed. The neighbor noted there were no adults present in the home with the child.

The affidavit further states that the child was initially described by the neighbor as “weak, sick, and lethargic.” Medical tests at the hospital revealed that the child had ingested THC, the psychoactive compound in marijuana.

Police said the child slept most of the time, but officers were able to contact the child’s family. A family member confirmed to police over a video call that Plaza was the sole adult put in charge of the child while they went out of state to Georgia for several days. When the child was awake, they told police that Plaza had left them alone around 10 p.m. the night before. No other adults ever came to the house to watch the child.

The affidavit said police tracked Plaza down and contacted her by phone. Plaza told police that she left the child alone believing that the family was returning later that night. She eventually admitted that she left the child at their family’s home so she could spend the night at her boyfriend’s house.

When police asked about how the child could have THC in their system, Plaza said she had put a bottle of CBD oil in the bathroom medicine cabinet and THC gummies in the freezer. Both places were accessible to the child, and Plaza denied giving any substances to the child. She told police that the child “should not know what they are.” The child was unable to tell police what substances they had consumed.

Plaza was arrested on June 19 and posted $5,000 bond later that day. She is due in court on July 13.

Caught in the Act: Duo Nabbed for Brazen Sound System Heist from Parked Car

Staff report

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Authorities have charged David Lee Townsend Jr., a 23-year-old resident of Gainesville, and Zachery Keith Turner III, aged 20 from Archer, with the theft of a sound system taken from a car’s trunk.

According to a detective with the Gainesville Police Department, surveillance footage from the shopping plaza at 125 NE 23rd Avenue captured two individuals at approximately 11:34 p.m. on February 20. They were seen pulling on door handles as they moved through the parking lot.

During these activities, Townsend reportedly discovered an unlocked Honda Civic. He allegedly opened the vehicle’s door and accessed the trunk. Cameras recorded Townsend leaving the frame only to return shortly with Turner, who appeared to be carrying a tool.

The video shows Turner cutting wires within the trunk before he allegedly removed a subwoofer worth roughly $450. Meanwhile, Townsend reportedly took an amplifier valued at approximately $680. The footage captures both individuals loading these items into their vehicles before driving away separately.

Cameras in the area showed that Townsend was driving a small sedan with multiple stickers on the back and silver trim. Turner was reportedly driving a black Tahoe with black rims and a push bar on the front bumper.

The owner of the business where the victim’s car was parked went to neighboring businesses with photos of the suspects; he learned that Townsend worked at the Wendy’s on North Main Street, and he reportedly found Townsend’s sedan in the parking lot at Wendy’s. He sent the tag number to the detective, who confirmed that the tag was registered to Townsend and verified that Townsend’s driver’s license photo matched the photos of one of the suspects in the February burglary.

The detective reported that he previously investigated a burglary case with Turner as a possible suspect, and an identical Tahoe was photographed by the victim in that case; the tag on that Tahoe is registered to Turner.

The business owner reportedly decided to attend a local car meet where car audio systems are re-sold, and he reportedly saw Turner and his truck at a car meet in the Home Depot parking lot off of Tower Road.

The detective reported that he called both suspects and scheduled meetings with them. He met with Townsend on March 4, and post Miranda, Townsend reportedly admitted that he had found the unlocked car and the audio equipment, but he said Turner removed the subwoofer. Townsend reportedly said it was all Turner’s idea, and he was only looking for a lost wallet in the parking lot. He said he believed Turner still had the subwoofer.

Turner reportedly spoke with the detective by phone and admitted that he had been at the parking lot with Townsend and still had the subwoofer. He agreed to meet with the detective and gave the detective the subwoofer.

Post Miranda, Turner reportedly admitted again that he had been with Townsend and had cut the subwoofer from the car. He reportedly admitted that he had the subwoofer but said he did not have anything else; the detective reported that Turner’s insistence that he did not have anything else led him to believe that Townsend had the amplifier.

The detective returned the subwoofer to the business owner, and the business owner pointed out to the detective that the video showed Townsend carrying the amplifier away.

The detective called Turner again, and Turner reportedly agreed to call Townsend and get the amplifier back. A short time later, both men met with the detective, and Turner reportedly gave him the stolen amplifier, which the detective returned to the business owner. However, the business owner said it would cost almost $1,200 to reinstall the items and replace the wiring that runs from the front of the car to the trunk, so he still wanted to press charges.

Townsend has been charged with burglary of an unoccupied vehicle and grand theft. A warrant for his arrest was issued on May 27, and he was arrested on June 13. He has juvenile convictions between 2017 and 2020, along with three adult felony convictions (three violent); he has served one state prison sentence and was released in 2023. Judge David Kreider set bail at $150,000, and he remains in the Alachua County Jail.

Turner has been charged with burglary of an unoccupied vehicle and grand theft. A warrant for his arrest was issued on May 27, and he was arrested on June 3. He has a juvenile conviction from 2022 and has a Notice to Appear in a shoplifting case from May. Judge Joy Danne set bail at $50,000, and he has been released from the Alachua County Jail.

Articles about arrests are based on reports from law enforcement agencies. The charges listed are taken from the arrest report and/or court records and are only accusations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Culver City Dog Daycare Preps Pups for Stress-Free Fourth of July Celebrations

0

In anticipation of the Fourth of July festivities, a Los Angeles doggy daycare has taken an innovative approach to help its canine guests stay calm during the holiday’s traditional fireworks. The facility has started playing recordings of fireworks throughout the day to gradually condition the dogs to the loud sounds.

An Instagram video highlights dogs at the center engaging in various activities like treadmill exercises, napping, and negotiating obstacle courses, all amid a soundtrack of fireworks. This is part of the daycare’s desensitization initiative aimed at easing the dogs’ anxiety when the actual fireworks begin.

Situated in Culver City at the intersection of Obama and Jefferson boulevards, Dingo Doggies Campus brands itself as a “school for dogs.” The facility emphasizes training that enhances listening skills, impulse control, and respectful social interactions.

The Instagram post accompanying the video explained, “With the Fourth of July just around the corner, we’re conditioning our dogs to be used to fireworks! The fireworks soundtrack runs all day every day, and on July 4th evening, it will be played in the kennels to blend with the actual fireworks outside.”

Renée Bogaarts, who owns and serves as the lead trainer at Dingo Doggies Campus, explained her motivation. She shared her passion for dogs and noted that in urban settings, many dogs’ biological needs often go unmet, leading to problematic behaviors.

Her passion for service and love for dogs led her to start the Dingo Doggies Campus in 2014, she had told Voyage LA.

For many canines, Fourth of July fireworks serve as an incredibly terrifying trigger. This intense fear leads numerous dogs to flee their homes or yards. They face a significant risk of getting lost or being involved in road accidents.

To prepare fearful dogs for the Fourth of July, the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine advises starting training months in advance. The process involves counter-conditioning, replacing fear with relaxation and desensitization, which uses gradual and controlled exposure to triggers without causing distress.

Police Close Murder Investigation as Coroner Declares Stabbing Death a Tragic Accident

0

In a shocking twist, what was initially thought to be a murder case has been clarified. A British man, discovered slumped over on a bench soaked with blood last year, was, in reality, the victim of an unfortunate accident: he had passed out drunk on a knife that was inside his own bag, officials revealed this week.

Initially, authorities wrestled with the belief that Robert Brown, aged 57, had met a violent end through stabbing, upon being found on August 1, 2025, in Northampton, England. This was based on media reports from the Northampton Chronicle and Echo.

Robert Brown and the scene where he died.

According to Northamptonshire Police, Brown’s death was the result of him dozing off and inadvertently falling onto a knife that was in his bag while seated on a bench. (Northamptonshire Police; SWNS)

Although three individuals were initially detained in connection with his death, they were later released. A coroner concluded on Thursday that Brown’s demise was, in fact, a “tragic accident.”

Investigators have deduced that Brown, who was known to have struggles with alcohol dependency, entered a deep sleep and inadvertently placed his weight on his bag, causing the knife to fatally penetrate his body.

The blade penetrated the bag and all three layers of Brown’s clothing, slashing his arm and leaving him to bleed out as he slept, authorities said.

Brown’s alcoholism made him vulnerable to blood loss, experts said at a court hearing.

Northamptonshire Police dropped the murder inquiry in February, saying Brown’s death was likely self-inflicted. Investigators noted that there was no apparent motive to murder Brown.

“We have reviewed the extensive amount of information gathered as part of the investigation, including all forensic submissions, and can confirm the evidence does not support the hypothesis that his death was a homicide,” police said at the time.

Revitalize Your Hamstrings After 60: Top 5 Morning Moves for Quick Recovery

Five morning hamstring exercises to regain strength and control after 60

>

Your hamstrings are multi-functional, doing much more than merely bending your knees. They extend your hips, stabilize your knees from behind, enhance the power of your stride, and collaborate with your glutes to make everyday movements like bending, lifting, walking, and climbing stairs more fluid. As you step into your 60s, dedicating some morning focus to the back of your legs can invigorate your entire lower body, ensuring you start each day feeling more active and prepared.

While lunges are excellent for working the lower body, they involve a mix of muscles including the quads, glutes, hips, and core, which can leave the hamstrings needing more targeted attention. Exercises like hinge movements, bridge variations, curls, and controlled single-leg activities concentrate on your hamstrings, allowing them to experience prolonged tension and directly enhancing their strength.

An effective hamstring regime involves learning to stretch the muscles deliberately, then contract them with power. My suggested approach is: embrace the stretch, maintain control, and return to start with purpose. Whether you use bands, dumbbells, sliders, or just your body weight, each option offers a unique challenge for your hamstrings, ensuring the routine remains simple yet effective.

Incorporate these exercises into your morning routine to rejuvenate the strength in the back of your body. Focus on performing each repetition smoothly, using a range of motion you can manage, and make sure your hamstrings, glutes, and hips are fully engaged from the very first movement.

Banded Good Mornings

Banded good mornings train your hamstrings, glutes, lower back, and core while reinforcing a strong hip hinge. The band adds tension as you stand tall, which teaches your hips to drive forward while your hamstrings help control the movement. This exercise works well in the morning because it wakes up the back of your legs without needing heavy weights. Move slowly on the way down and feel your hamstrings lengthen before returning to standing.

Muscles Trained: Hamstrings, glutes, lower back, core.

How to Do It:

  1. Stand on the middle of a resistance band with your feet hip-width apart.
  2. Loop the band around your upper back or hold the ends near your shoulders.
  3. Brace your core and soften your knees.
  4. Push your hips back as your torso leans forward.
  5. Stop when you feel your hamstrings working.
  6. Drive your hips forward to return to standing.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 3 sets of 10 to 15 reps. Rest for 45 seconds between each set.

Best Variations: Bodyweight good mornings, tempo good mornings, staggered-stance good mornings.

Form Tip: Keep your spine long and make your hips lead the movement.

6 Daily Exercises That Regain Muscle Mass Better Than Gym Workouts After 60

Dumbbell Romanian Deadlift

Dumbbell Romanian deadlifts train your hamstrings and glutes through a loaded hinge. As the dumbbells lower, your hamstrings lengthen under tension, which builds strength through the back of your legs. Then your hips drive forward, bringing you back to standing. This makes the RDL one of the best exercises for restoring hamstring strength because it trains the exact control you need when bending, lifting, carrying, and standing tall.

Muscles Trained: Hamstrings, glutes, lower back, core, grip.

How to Do It:

  1. Stand with your feet hip-width apart and hold dumbbells in front of your thighs.
  2. Brace your core and soften your knees.
  3. Push your hips back as the dumbbells travel down your legs.
  4. Lower until you feel a stretch through your hamstrings.
  5. Drive your hips forward to return to standing.
  6. Finish tall with your glutes engaged.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps. Rest for 60 seconds between each set.

Best Variations: Kettlebell RDLs, tempo RDLs, staggered-stance RDLs.

Form Tip: Keep the dumbbells close to your legs and control the lowering phase.

Glute Bridge Walkouts

Glute bridge walkouts train your hamstrings, glutes, and core while keeping your hips under steady tension. As your feet walk farther from your body, your hamstrings have to work harder to keep your hips lifted. Walking your feet back in adds another strength challenge through the back of your legs. This exercise offers a strong bodyweight option that fits well into a morning routine and builds hamstring control without equipment.

Muscles Trained: Hamstrings, glutes, core.

How to Do It:

  1. Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor.
  2. Press through your heels and lift your hips.
  3. Brace your core and squeeze your glutes.
  4. Walk your feet forward one small step at a time.
  5. Walk your feet back toward your body while keeping your hips lifted.
  6. Lower your hips with control when the set is complete.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 3 sets of 6 to 8 walkouts. Rest for 45 to 60 seconds between each set.

Best Variations: Glute bridge holds, shorter walkouts, mini-band bridge walkouts.

Form Tip: Keep your hips lifted and make each step small and controlled.

4 Bed Exercises That Rebuild Core Strength Faster Than Planks After 60

Slider Hamstring Curls

Slider hamstring curls target your hamstrings by engaging knee flexion while your glutes and core maintain a bridge position. Your hamstrings control the slide out, then pull your heels back toward your body to finish the rep. This gives the back of your legs a direct strength challenge that lunges often miss. Use furniture sliders, towels on a smooth floor, or socks on hardwood, and keep the movement slow enough to feel the hamstrings working.

Muscles Trained: Hamstrings, glutes, core.

How to Do It:

  1. Lie on your back with your heels on sliders, towels, or a smooth surface.
  2. Press through your heels and lift your hips into a bridge.
  3. Brace your core and keep your hips lifted.
  4. Slide your heels away from your body with control.
  5. Pull your heels back toward your glutes.
  6. Lower your hips after completing each set.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 3 sets of 6 to 10 reps. Rest for 60 seconds between each set.

Best Variations: Short-range slider curls, eccentric-only slider curls, single-leg slider curls.

Form Tip: Move slowly on the way out and keep your hips from dropping.

Staggered-Stance Dumbbell RDL

Staggered-stance dumbbell RDLs train one hamstring and glute a little more than the other while still giving you balance support from both feet. This makes the exercise a useful step between two-leg RDLs and single-leg RDLs. The front leg handles most of the work, while the back foot helps you stay steady. Training each side this way can help improve strength balance through your hips and hamstrings, which supports walking, stairs, and better control during daily movement.

Muscles Trained: Hamstrings, glutes, core, lower back, grip.

How to Do It:

  1. Stand tall with dumbbells in front of your thighs.
  2. Step one foot slightly behind you, keeping most of your weight on your front leg.
  3. Brace your core and soften your front knee.
  4. Push your hips back as the dumbbells move down your front leg.
  5. Drive through your front foot to return to standing.
  6. Complete all reps, then switch sides.

Recommended Sets and Reps: Perform 3 sets of 8 to 10 reps per side. Rest for 45 to 60 seconds between each set.

Best Variations: Bodyweight staggered hinges, kettlebell staggered RDLs, supported single-leg RDLs.

Form Tip: Keep your front foot grounded and let your front hamstring control the rep.

5 Standing Exercises That Shrink Belly Overhang Faster Than Gym Sessions After 60

How to Restore Hamstring Strength After 60

Hamstring strength improves when you train both major jobs of the muscle: controlling the hip hinge and bending the knee. Bands, dumbbells, sliders, and bodyweight exercises give you enough variety to build strength without overcomplicating the routine. Keep the movements controlled, focus on the back of your legs, and let the reps feel smooth before adding more challenge.

  • Prioritize the hinge: Good mornings and RDLs teach your hips and hamstrings to work together. A stronger hinge helps with bending, lifting, and standing tall.
  • Add direct hamstring curls: Slider curls strengthen the hamstrings through knee flexion. This balances the hinge work and provides your leg backs with a more complete training effect.
  • Use bodyweight work for control: Glute bridge walkouts build tension without equipment. Slow steps and steady hips make the exercise more effective.
  • Train each side with focus: Staggered-stance RDLs help each hamstring get more individual work while keeping the movement stable and approachable.
  • Progress gradually: Add reps, slow the lowering phase, use heavier dumbbells, increase band tension, or extend the slider range once the exercises feel strong.

A strong pair of hamstrings can make your whole lower body feel more capable. Train the hinge, bridge, curl, and staggered-stance patterns consistently, and the back of your legs will be stronger for walking, stairs, lifting, and everyday movement.

Shocking Encounter with Madonna’s Ex: My Unexpected Ordeal

0

“There’s room for everyone to shine,” Madonna remarked to me when we found ourselves backstage at the Jean Paul Gaultier Spring/Summer 1995 fashion event, held at the Musée des Arts Forains in Paris.

We were both on the runway together. Madonna donned a flowing chiffon dress, playfully wheeling a baby carriage with a tiny white dog inside. As for me, I was clad in a revealing thong swimsuit—not the most secure ensemble, because a single good cough might have sent it flying.

Though instructed to avoid any interaction with the pop icon, my 23-year-old self disregarded the cautious warnings (some things never change) and boldly strolled into her private area to strike up a conversation.

Relaxed and composed, she engaged in conversation with the esteemed hairstylist Orlando Pita, sharing that her housekeeper, a Santeria practitioner, would cover her in honey as part of a sun-lit purification ritual. Quite the sticky situation!

As Madonna looked up and greeted me with a warm smile, it was clear she wasn’t bothered by my intrusion. Taking this as my cue, I seized the moment to seek her advice. Not long before, Sandra Bernhard, a former friend of hers, had inexplicably critiqued me in Time Magazine.

‘There is no need to tear each other down, especially other women,’ she purred. It turned out to be some of the best advice I’ve ever received. I walked away glowing.

The next night there was a party for Gaultier and I was busy flirting with a hot American model named Andre when Madonna walked into the restaurant with her then-boyfriend Carlos Leon.

Andre suddenly turned to stone. ‘Here, sit on my lap,’ he said, pulling me on top of him.

Since I had ZERO game, I was, of course, down for whatever this perfect hunk of man meat was serving. But as we kissed, he was glaring at Madonna and, for the life of me, I could not figure out what was happening.

It turned out they had dated and whatever that was worked. Madonna walked over and pleaded – with her eyes – for peace with dumb Andre. Then Madge waved goodbye to me and left.

I love her… just about as much as I hate her.

For now, as Madonna explodes back into the culture with her latest reinvention – promoting her new album Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part II – I know that her moods are not unlike the boom-and-bust cycles of her career.

She’s a true diva.

As kind as Madonna was to me in Paris, I can’t say she was exactly nice to me when I saw her again at the 1998 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles.

In fact, she was a raging bitch.

I had become good friends with her manager Guy O’Seary (who would later run her now-defunct Maverick Records) and he assured me, ‘M loves you!’, so we walked over to her table after her kickass performance of Shanti/Ashtangi.

Madonna had what looked like lines of colored frosting on her face. She was going through a ‘eastern spirituality phase’ she’d picked up while pregnant with her daughter Lourdes.

‘Look who I found?’ Guy said.

Madonna looked up in her Bollywood cosplay and snarled, ‘What do you want?’

(I forget: Who is the Hindu god of mood disorders?)

I rolled my eyes, shook my head and walked away.

Not long after that we crossed paths again at a party with Guy. I told Madonna that I had seen Evita four times, and she asked, ‘Oh did you like it?’ I cocked my head and deadpanned, ‘No I hated it. I wanted to go back three extra times just to make sure.’

She snorted with laughter, immediately tried to compose herself and said, ‘That’s actually funny.’

Dr Jekyll?

It’s well-known that no one in Madonna’s orbit dares call her by her real name. It’s always ‘M’ or ‘Madge’ or ‘Mo’, or some other made-up moniker that indulges the fantasy that she’s normal. But she’s not. She couldn’t be. For as many times as Madonna has been culturally discarded and left for dead, she’s found her away back. It’s almost superhuman.

I saw her perform in concert for the first time on her Like a Virgin tour in 1985. She was already an icon and I was up to my elbows in gummy rubber bracelets desperately trying to look like her character Susan Thomas in Desperately Seeking Susan. I screamed the lyrics to Borderline loud enough for her to hear me.

And I’ll never forget waiting in line in 1992 with my fellow VJ John Norris to get our hands on her book, Sex, the day it was released. The overhyped coffee table smut had some beautiful portraits, goofy shots with Vanilla Ice and was so poorly constructed it fell apart in your hands when you turned the spiral bound pages. I still have mine intact in the original packaging.

As a VJ at MTV, I watched the industry alternate between her eulogies and proclamations of her triumphal returns. She’d vanish from the scene and then hit you upside the head with some masterful reinvention, like the Bedtime Stories album, or some wild collaboration, like that 2003 VMA makeout sesh with Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, and be heralded as a genius once more, then do something absolutely humiliating.

In 2021, everyone cringed when she flashed her booty while laying across Jimmy Fallon’s desk on the Tonight Show.

Two years later, it wasn’t funny at all when she was hospitalized, she said, with a ‘serious bacterial infection’ and placed in ‘an induced coma for 48 hours.’

It suddenly seemed like Madonna wasn’t coming back again. Her movie star good looks were veering into horror show territory, and the shock and awe antics that once were felt titillating were getting icky. The Material Girl was becoming a granny

When 67-year-old Madonna appeared three-stories high on a stage in Times Square, grinding in lingerie and pressing her naughty bits against a plexiglass barrier during a Pride event in early June, I thought I had finally had enough. But how wrong I was.

Madge has returned and is, dare I say, cool once more.

A collab with Sabrina Carpenter at April’s Coachella music festival brought the house down and made me think how Sabrina and Chappell Roan and so many others wouldn’t have license to lean into taboos if it weren’t for the woman who rolled around in a wedding dress and crucifixes at the 1984 Video Music Awards.

Madonna leaving the Ritz Hotel in Paris during Paris Fashion Week on June 24

Madonna could even be learning some… boundaries. She confessed in a new sit-down with Interview Magazine that she has decided to keep her clothes on: ‘Now I don’t want to be naked because everyone’s naked. That’s my nature. I want to do what people are not doing, which is thinking and wearing clothes.’

Well, not so fast. On Wednesday, she went braless, freeing the nipple in a tiny blue dress for Paris Fashion Week. I guess she’s technically clothed.

So it goes, as we summit another peak on the climb up Mt. Madonna. Whether she’s making you barf by showing too much, or making you dance yourself into a frenzy, at 67 she’s still here, still crazy, and I can’t wait to love-hate everything about her latest reincarnation.

Madonna, we’ll always have Paris.
