Revealed: Last Words of Disappeared Nuclear Expert Before Mysterious Vanishing

0

The haunting last words of a missing nuclear official have come to light, as the prolonged search for him and others with access to classified information continues.

Authorities in New Mexico reported that Steven Garcia, aged 49, mysteriously disappeared on August 28, 2025, just a day shy of his birthday. His sudden vanishing followed a distressing dispute with his wife, Valerie.

Earlier this year, in April, a confidential source disclosed to the Daily Mail that Garcia was employed as a government contractor at the Kansas City National Security Campus (KCNSC). This significant facility in Albuquerque plays a crucial role in the defense infrastructure of the United States.

The informant expressed concern that Garcia’s situation might be linked to an ongoing FBI probe. This investigation focuses on a series of missing or deceased individuals, including scientists, nuclear lab personnel, and former military officials, all of whom had connections to sensitive national security operations and classified information.

Recently acquired police documents from the Daily Mail have unveiled more insights into Garcia’s disappearance. The reports indicate that Garcia’s wife had declared her decision to leave him, citing persistent marital issues and a reluctance to attempt reconciliation.

The Albuquerque Police Department revealed: ‘Valerie said that Steven was upset and told her “well if I can’t have you I will go somewhere else.”‘

Those were the last words Garcia uttered before security cameras in the couple’s home caught the nuclear lab worker taking a handgun and a bottle of water and leaving the residence on foot.

Valerie also told police that the gun was registered in her name and that her husband had stolen it when he disappeared. The Daily Mail has reached out to Valerie for comment.

Garcia allegedly served as a property custodian at KCNSC’s New Mexico facility, giving him a top security clearance and broad access to the entire site’s nuclear secrets.

The source told the Daily Mail that Garcia worked at ‘a very high-level, overseeing position for all the assets. Tens, maybe hundreds of millions of dollars in equipment and assets, some of which are not classified, others would be classified.’

On the day of his disappearance, Garcia was seen walking out of his home on Cattail Court SW in a green camouflage shirt and shorts just after 9am local time.

The newly obtained report revealed that the allegedly stolen handgun was a revolver that was kept inside a gun case that was last seen tucked under Garcia’s arm.

The government contractor left behind his car, keys, wallet and both of his phones inside his home, leaving no way of tracking his whereabouts digitally.

Those circumstances were nearly identical to the three other disappearances in New Mexico over the last year involving individuals with ties to nuclear research facilities and top-secret information.

‘It’s a little strange that these people just keep disappearing. I mean, he literally just walked off into the desert with a firearm and a bottle of water and that was it,’ the source told the Daily Mail, comparing it to the disappearance of retired Air Force General William Neil McCasland.

McCasland, 68, who also lived in Albuquerque, vanished after leaving his home on February 27, 2026, with no phone, wearable devices or his prescription glasses. The Air Force veteran was only carrying a .38-caliber revolver.

Two other individuals with a connection to US nuclear facilities disappeared just months before Garcia in 2025.

Anthony Chavez and Melissa Casias both worked at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), one of the nation’s most important nuclear research sites.

Chavez, 79, worked at the lab until his retirement in 2017, although his role there has not been made clear. He was last seen walking out of his home in Los Alamos on May 4, 2025.

Casias, 53 at the time of her disappearance on June 26, 2025, was an active administrative assistant at the facility.

She left both of her phones, her keys and identification behind in her Taos residence while her husband and daughter were at work.

Casias’s body was discovered in New Mexico’s Carson National Forest on May 28, next to a handgun, which her daughter said did not belong to the nuclear lab employee.

A cause of death still has not been released by New Mexico State Police, however, former FBI agents and a private investigator have claimed, without evidence, that the death appeared to be a suicide.

In Garcia’s case, his wife told police that he did not have any history of mental health issues or had ever disappeared from their home before.

‘Valerie said that Steven had never left the residence like this in the past and never directly said that he wanted to hurt or kill himself and did not have any plan,’ the police report revealed.

‘Valerie did not disclose Steven having any behavioral health issues or any drug or alcohol abuse reference to his government job.’

The FBI is reportedly still investigating these disappearances and deaths throughout the US in recent years, at the direction of the White House.

The agency has not provided an update in the case despite President Trump claiming answers would come in mid-May.

The president also claimed that many of the cases members of Congress fear are tied a larger foreign intelligence plot against US national security were more likely ‘coincidences.’

Trump said in April: ‘Some of them that we looked at were very sad cases, in some cases, some were sick, some left this earth self-inflicted, some had other things. So far, we’re finding that there’s not much of a connection. We’re going to be doing a full report and it’s very serious.’

Meanwhile, former FBI Assistant Director Chris Swecker told the Daily Mail there is still enough evidence to suspect foul play in several of the disappearances and deaths.

Swecker said: ‘I think there’s enough of a pattern, even if it’s a small group, I think there’s a smaller group of missing people that warrant an investigation by the FBI, which is the lead agency in counter-espionage, counterintelligence. I would be looking for that, unless we show something points to another direction.’

Open Heaven 12 June 2026 TOPIC – Prayers For Youths

MEMORISE: My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother: For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck. – Proverbs 1:8-9 (KJV)

READ: 1 Peter 5:5-9 (KJV)

5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

Unforgettable Highlights You Missed in Knicks’ Thrilling NBA Finals Game 4

0

SAN ANTONIO — In a thrilling twist of fate, OG Anunoby emerged as the hero with a dramatic flying tip-in of a missed Jalen Brunson three-pointer, sealing an unforgettable comeback victory for the Knicks. Anunoby’s crucial play with just 1.2 seconds left on the clock highlighted the Knicks’ recovery from a staggering 29-point deficit in their electrifying Game 4 win.

Let’s take a closer look at the pivotal moments of this remarkable game:

KAT’s timely deflection

The atmosphere at Madison Square Garden was electric as Anunoby’s heroics put the Knicks one step closer to their first championship in 53 years. However, the San Antonio Spurs had one last opportunity to turn the tide. With a mere 1.2 seconds to play, they managed to inbound the ball to Stephon Castle for a potential alley-oop. Yet, Dylan Harper’s pass was intercepted by Towns, preventing Castle from taking a shot. Despite early foul trouble that limited his play, Towns delivered a strong performance in the second half, contributing seven points, seven rebounds, and two assists.

MSG Rims

The Knicks had a bit of luck on their side with the Garden rims favoring them at key moments. Anunoby’s step-back three-pointer was a prime example—it bounced off the front rim, kissed the backboard, and went in, narrowing the Spurs’ lead to 15 with less than a minute left in the third quarter. Another lucky break came with 9:15 left in the game when Jose Alvarado’s three-pointer from the left corner danced around the rim, hit the backboard, and finally dropped, keeping the Knicks in striking distance.

Backup’s star turn

Coach Mike Brown’s decision to rely on Jose Alvarado paid off in the final minutes. The backup point guard made a significant impact, scoring five consecutive points in the fourth quarter with a driving layup followed by a three-pointer. These crucial baskets, coming right after the Spurs had scored, maintained the Knicks’ momentum and cut their deficit to just four points with 3:07 remaining. Alvarado’s contributions were vital in keeping the Knicks’ hopes alive and ultimately securing a memorable victory.

Fox’s blunder

De’Aaron Fox’s decision to attack the basket rather than eat up precious seconds of the clock and wait to be fouled was a boneheaded mistake. After a Brunson miss with the Spurs up one point, there was a scramble for the rebound. Fox got to it first in the backcourt with roughly 12 seconds left. He went in for the layup, but was rejected by Anunoby. Fox had a terrible second half, shooting 2-for-8 from the field and committing four turnovers.

Johnson’s costly decisions

Spurs coach Mitch Johnson made two moves he likely regrets. The first one was playing Victor Wembanyama all but 50 seconds of the second half. The 7-foot-4 Frenchman was clearly fatigued late and not only missed 11 of 14 shots over the final two quarters, but also missed two critical free throws with 1:47 remaining. The second was not guarding the inbounder on the Knicks’ final possession. Anunoby threw the ball in to Brunson, and nobody was there to block him out on the game-winning tip-in.

A key successful challenge

Early in the fourth quarter, the Spurs inbounded the ball to Wembanyama. He was stripped, and the initial ruling gave San Antonio possession. Coach Mike Brown, advised by assistant coach Jordan Brink, challenged the call and won.

Barcelona Halts Pursuit of Marcus Rashford, Rejects £26m Valuation by Manchester United

0

Reports from Spain indicate that Barcelona has opted against purchasing Marcus Rashford, deciding instead to send him back to Manchester United.

Barcelona was given until Monday to finalize Rashford’s transfer for a fixed amount of £26 million, as outlined in his loan agreement at the Nou Camp this season. However, talks for a different arrangement could still occur beyond this deadline.

So far, Manchester United has remained firm on the set price, while Barcelona has reportedly proposed roughly half of that amount, having already invested £70 million in acquiring Anthony Gordon from Newcastle, a fellow England international.

On Monday, Spanish sources suggested that Barcelona no longer intends to secure Rashford, content to let him return to Old Trafford after the World Cup concludes.

The publication Marca shared that Anthony Gordon was favored over Rashford due to his superior defensive capabilities, considered Rashford’s “weakest point,” alongside a three-year age advantage.

United sources insist there has been no official communication from Barca to say they don’t want to keep Rashford, and Monday’s clause remains in effect.

But Rashford – who contributed 14 goals and 14 assists in just 26 starts as Hansi Flick’s side won La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup this season – removed any references to Barcelona from his social media bios on Instagram and X shortly after news broke regarding his future.

The Spanish champions have also made an offer to sign Bernardo Silva on a free transfer from Manchester City, and are ready to pay Atletico Madrid in excess of £100million for Julian Alvarez to replace Robert Lewandowski at centre-forward.

Barca have a number of other attacking options including Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Ferran Torres and Fermin Lopez.

Rashford would prefer to return to the Nou Camp, but United will be free to do business with other clubs after Monday’s deadline and will be hoping the player has a good World Cup with England to boost his value.

Arsenal, Tottenham and Aston Villa – who had Rashford on loan for the second half of last season – are believed to have an interest in bringing him back to the Premier League.

Real Madrid, who are soon to be managed by former United boss Jose Mourinho, Bayern Munich and Chelsea may emerge as other options.

Rashford’s wages and age – he will turn 29 in October – are not in his favour.

He might have to take a pay-cut or negotiate a pay-off with United to secure a permanent move away from Old Trafford, having last played for his boyhood club in December 2024.

If the Red Devils cannot find Rashford a new club before he is due to start pre-season training after the World Cup, then he will return to Carrington.

Last summer, the forward was part of a ‘bomb squad’ that also included Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia, although it’s unclear how United would handle the situation again.

It would appear to be in the best interests of both parties to avoid that scenario even though, ironically, United are in the market for a left winger.

Goalkeeper Andre Onana finds himself in a similar position after a season on loan at Trabzonspor which ended with him helping the club to win the Turkish Cup.

The Cameroonian has no future at United after being replaced by Senne Lammens, who was voted as the Premier League’s signing of the season, but is ready to return for pre-season next month if his future is unresolved.

Trabzonspor would like to keep him and another loan is a possibility. United would prefer a sale but are unlikely to get any more than half of the £47.2million they paid Inter Milan for the goalkeeper after quoting Monaco £30million for him last summer.

Portland Man Receives 30-Month Prison Sentence for Assaulting ICE Officer with Rock During Protest

0

A man who confessed to attacking a federal officer during demonstrations at a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement center in Portland, Oregon, was sentenced to a 30-month federal prison term on Thursday.

Robert Jacob Hoopes had earlier admitted guilt to the charge of aggravated assault on a federal employee using a dangerous weapon.

Court records reveal that Hoopes hurled a rock at a protest in June 2025, hitting an ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations officer in the face and inflicting “significant injury.”

Prosecutors reported that the officer’s injury bled profusely and impaired his vision, necessitating medical attention beyond standard first aid.

“Today’s message is clear — violence is not a protest,” U.S. Attorney for the District of Oregon Scott Bradford said in a statement. “When you cross the line and assault a federal officer, you will be prosecuted.”

In addition to the prison sentence, Hoopes was ordered to serve three years of supervised release and pay more than $8,000 in restitution.

As previously reported by News Media, FBI investigators identified Hoopes using facial recognition technology.

According to charging documents, investigators submitted a photograph published by OregonLive.com into commercially available facial recognition software.

Federal authorities said the software generated approximately 30 potential matches from publicly available databases.

Investigators then reviewed the results and identified a photograph on a Reed College SmugMug page titled “Canyon Day April ’23.” Prosecutors said a tattoo visible on the individual’s forearm matched a tattoo seen on the suspect during the June 14 protest.

Hoopes’ father, Tom Hoopes, previously described his son as a “lifelong Quaker who is deeply committed to pacifism” in an interview with KATU.

While he did not dispute that his son attended the protest, he declined to discuss his specific involvement.

“What his involvement was: I can’t speak to that, but he is deeply committed to justice,” KATU quoted him as saying.

The Justice Department has pursued cases against numerous individuals accused of assaulting federal officers during protests tied to President Donald Trump’s immigration policies.

Tour Rylan’s Lavish £1.3M Essex Home: Pool, Big Brother Diary Room, and Iconic Sofa Revealed

Rylan and Linda on Celebrity Gogglebox

Rylan lets viewers into his home for Celebrity Gogglebox (Image: Channel 4)

Celebrity Gogglebox star Rylan Clark’s home is filled with character and glamour, as many would expect from the presenter. He has regularly shared insights into his stunning Essex mansion, as well as inviting fans into his viewing room when he appears on the Channel 4 show.

Television personality Rylan Clark’s home exudes charm and elegance, reflecting his vibrant persona. Regular glimpses into his spectacular Essex mansion have delighted fans, and he’s even offered a peek into his cozy viewing room during his appearances on Channel 4’s Celebrity Gogglebox.

The former X Factor contestant and now well-known presenter, aged 37, previously shared his five-bedroom Brentwood residence with his husband Dan Neal until their separation in 2021. This home is a treasure trove of personal flair, featuring unique items like a Big Brother Diary Room chair and a swimming pool. A devoted fan of Celebrity Big Brother since his stint on the show in 2013, Rylan even snagged the iconic round chair and LED doorbell from the series.

Rylan has expressed his fondness for his personalized Diary Room, calling it his “favorite room in the house.” He remarked, “My love for Big Brother is no secret, and with some spare time on my hands, I decided to recreate a diary room. It’s quite authentic, which is thrilling.”

Commenting on memorabilia from the show, he once noted, “While some people sell Big Brother items on eBay, which I understand since they’re often discarded, I believe they should be preserved in a museum instead.”

Fans can also catch a glimpse of Rylan’s living room on Celebrity Gogglebox, where he watches TV with his mother, Linda. The two relax on a spacious green sofa, a perfect spot for unwinding.

He once said it is the area of his home he spends the most time in. Rylan told House Beautiful: “I spent a lot of time in here – even though I’ve got a cinema room, it’s where I sit at night, and watch TV.”

Another impressive part of Rylan’s home is his indoor swimming pool, which has been enjoyed by his showbiz pals, including Alan Carr. Rylan cheekily shared they enjoyed an evening of “skinny dipping” along with pizza, drinks and karaoke.

His pool sits in an outbuilding, while his garden features an outdoor kitchen area fitted with a sink, barbecue, fridge and pizza oven.

The presenter isn’t the only star to live in the neighbourhood as Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan have their £3.5million mansion nearby. Back in 2022, Mark joked he would need to move out after Rylan discovered a snake at his home.

Rylan revealed the reptile had slithered onto his property and said: “I can’t deal with it.” The snake even returned, which prompted Mark to say: “Jesus!! I’m moving!! How have you not warned me earlier lol.”

Rylan responded: “Mate get that guest room made up I’m on my way,” to which Mark said: “Haha it’s there when you want it pal, just don’t bring ya mate.”

The presenter designed his home and admitted he wanted to create his “own little Rylan-land”. While he spends plenty of time with his mum Linda, they do have different tastes when it comes to interiors.

Rylan branded his mum “a real hoarder” and admitted they have different tastes. He told House Beautiful: “I think I very much like to colour match, she likes to contrast.

“Her kitchen is very royal blue and rose gold, then she’ll go shopping and get something gold, and it doesn’t quite go.

DCLM Daily Manna 12 June 2026 — An Inglorious End

DCLM Daily Manna 12 June 2026 Devotional by Pastor W. F. Kumuyi — An Inglorious End

TOPIC: An Inglorious End (DCLM Daily Manna 12 June 2026)

KEY VERSE: And this shall be a sign unto thee, that shall come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them – 1 Samuel 2:29

TEXT: 1 Samuel 2:26-36 (KJV)

26 And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favour both with the Lord, and also with men.

27 And there came a man of God unto Eli, and said unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Did I plainly appear unto the house of thy father, when they were in Egypt in Pharaoh’s house?

28 And did I choose him out of all the tribes of Israel to be my priest, to offer upon mine altar, to burn incense, to wear an ephod before me? and did I give unto the house of thy father all the offerings made by fire of the children of Israel?

29 Wherefore kick ye at my sacrifice and at mine offering, which I have commanded in my habitation; and honourest thy sons above me, to make yourselves fat with the chiefest of all the offerings of Israel my people?

30 Wherefore the Lord God of Israel saith, I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should walk before me for ever: but now the Lord saith, Be it far from me; for them that honour me I will honour, and they that despise me shall be lightly esteemed.

31 Behold, the days come, that I will cut off thine arm, and the arm of thy father’s house, that there shall not be an old man in thine house.

32 And thou shalt see an enemy in my habitation, in all the wealth which God shall give Israel: and there shall not be an old man in thine house for ever.

33 And the man of thine, whom I shall not cut off from mine altar, shall be to consume thine eyes, and to grieve thine heart: and all the increase of thine house shall die in the flower of their age.

34 And this shall be a sign unto thee, that shall come upon thy two sons, on Hophni and Phinehas; in one day they shall die both of them.

35 And I will raise me up a faithful priest, that shall do according to that which is in mine heart and in my mind: and I will build him a sure house; and he shall walk before mine anointed for ever.

36 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left in thine house shall come and crouch to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the priests’ offices, that I may eat a piece of bread.

DCLM Daily Manna For Today MESSAGE:

C S Lewis, a British writer and an Anglican lay theologian, once saw this epitaph on a tombstone: “Here lies an atheist, all dressed up but with nowhere to go.”

In today’s passage, a man of God prophesied of the inglorious deaths of Eli’s two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, for acts of irreverence for God. This eventually came to pass shortly after. Hophni and Phinehas were all dressed up as priests, bearing the Ark of the Covenant on their shoulders. They summarily died in battle, with no hope of eternal life awaiting them. Eli was the chief priest over the Tabernacle, as well as a judge in Israel. His sons (Hophni and Phinehas), as children of the high priest, also joined in the holy service. These sons of Eli compelled the priest’s servants to take the meat of Israel’s sacrifices in the tabernacle by force, before burning the fat as instituted in God’s law. In addition to extortion, the sons of Eli were also guilty of sexual immorality with the women who gathered at the entrance to the tabernacle. Naturally, the Lord was very displeased with this sinful behaviour and sent a man of God to deliver a damning message to Eli. The Lord said that Eli and his house would be cut off from His favour, and that, as a sign of the truth of this prophecy, both sons would die on the same day.

Death is certain. It is a necessary end. But those who die while in active rebellion against God’s commands will face a grim eternity. These two sons of the high priest of Israel should have known better. They should have known that a holy calling cannot save an unholy man unless he repents. However, instead of amending their ways, they became so selfish and rebellious that Eli, their father, could no longer control them. Although Eli cautioned Hophni and Phinehas, he had not done everything he could to decisively correct their bad behaviour. Eli was guilty of neglecting his parental duties towards his sons because “he restrained them not”. Eli should have excluded his children from the service in the sanctuary of God altogether. This is a warning to Christian parents who indulge their children and allow them to occupy positions in the church despite their manifest misdemeanours.

God is jealous over His house. He is no respecter of persons. Though He is patient and expects the penitent to return to him, there is a limit to His patience. Those who are encouraged by delusional ideologists to resist God and disdain his word, thinking there are no consequences, should have a rethink after seeing how quickly those illusions were dispelled by the swift judgement handed down to Hophni and Phinehas.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY
It is a horrible venture to dare God or tempt Him

Rhapsody Of Realities 12 June 2026: Discern The Source

Rhapsody Of Realities 12 June 2026 By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (Christ Embassy): Discern The Source

TOPIC: Discern The Source (Rhapsody of Realities 12 June 2026)

But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan… (Matthew 16:23).

Rhapsody Of Realities For Today’s MESSAGE:

Not everything that sounds right is from God. Not every thought, idea, or opinion that comes nicely is inspired by the Spirit. You must learn to discern. In Matthew 16, for example, the Lord Jesus asked His disciples, “…whom say ye that I am?” (Matthew 16:15).

Peter answered, “…Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God” (Matthew 16:16). Then the Lord said to Peter, “…Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 16:17).

But shortly afterwards, when the Lord Jesus began to speak about His death, Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “…Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee” (Matthew 16:22). Notice what happens next: immediately, the Lord “…turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men” (Matthew 16:23).

This was the same Peter: one moment, he was speaking by revelation from God, the next moment, Satan is speaking through him. But the Lord Jesus discerned the source of the words Peter spoke. He didn’t address Peter as a person; He addressed the source and said, “Get thee behind me, Satan.”

That means you must discern the source of every word, inspiration and action. When you speak, it should always be from God. Your thoughts should always be inspired by the Holy Spirit so that your words will synchronize with God’s perfect will.

Peter spoke from personal desire. He wanted an earthly kingdom. He wanted a position. He wanted a system that favoured him. What sounded like concern was actually self-interest. So, don’t judge things by how they sound; you’re to discern them by the Spirit.

Not every good-sounding word or emotional reaction is spiritual. That’s why you must stay filled with the Spirit and let the Word of God dwell in you richly. 1 John 4:1 declares, “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God….” 1 Thessalonians 5:20-21 tells us not to despise the Word (prophecies) but to test everything and hold fast to that which is good and edifies. In other words, discern the source.

PRAYER

Dear Father, thank you for granting me spiritual discernment. I’m not led by appearances or emotions; I’m led by your Spirit. I recognize the source of thoughts and words, and I walk in alignment with your perfect will, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

FURTHER STUDY

Matthew 16:16-23 (KJV)
And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. [17] And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar–jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. [18] And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. [19] And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. [20] Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ. [21] From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day. [22] Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. [23] But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

1 Corinthians 2:14-15 (KJV)
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. [15] But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

1 Thessalonians 5:20-21 (KJV)
Despise not prophesyings. [21] Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Trump Calls for Expungement of His Two Impeachments from Official Record

0

Donald Trump is urging lawmakers to invalidate his impeachments from his first term while the White House criticizes “deranged Democrats” for what they call “phony attacks.”

In a conversation with the Wall Street Journal, Trump expressed that Congress has a responsibility to address what he perceives as unjust political assaults on his presidency.

“It should be done because I did nothing wrong. It was a rigged deal—it was a whole rigged situation,” Trump remarked to the publication.

The former President and his team are advocating for lawmakers to pass a resolution that would nullify the impeachments.

According to an official, White House representatives have been adamant about advancing this issue and have communicated their stance to reporters.

‘Trump-deranged Democrats have spent years launching phony attacks against the President and weaponizing the government against him,’ White House spokeswoman Abigail Jackson told The Daily Mail.

‘It’s no surprise that sane individuals are recognizing these sham efforts and are interested in undoing those shameful actions.’

She added: ‘President Trump remains focused on one thing: doing what’s best for the American people.’

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson has suggested he would be in favor of such a move, which has been percolating in Congress the past month.

‘I think it makes a lot of sense the more the evidence comes out, the more we know they really were sham impeachments,’ Johnson said, adding that it was ‘a priority and something Congress should make right.’.

In April, a measure was introduced to do so by Republican Darrell Issa, alongside 23 GOP co-sponsors.

‘We were saying it at the time, now we know. And they make a very compelling case that it should be expunged from the record, because it was a hyperpartisan attack job,’ Johnson said.

Trump also hit out against Jamie Raskin, a Democrat Congressman from Maryland who the President believes will impeach him again if the Democrats take back the House.

‘If Biden didn’t give him a pardon, he’d be in jail right now! Something should be done about people like this who do bad things, but always come up on the short end because of their illegal or unscrupulous behavior, and hurt our Country in the process,’ Trump said on Truth Social Thursday night.

He said he agreed with right-wing pundit Mark Levin and said Congress should ‘EXPEL THE BUM’ in reference to Raskin.

The resolution would allow Trump to claim a symbolic victory on a matter that has dogged him since his first term, but would have little legal significance since the Constitution provides no procedure for undoing an impeachment.

Trump was impeached twice by the US House of Representatives during his first four years in office.

The first alleged an abuse of power, and he was acquitted in early 2020.

The second accused him of incitement of insurrection over the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol by his supporters.

Trump escaped an ouster from power in both cases and his anger over the impeachments helped fuel his 2024 presidential campaign in which he defeated Democrat Kamala Harris.

It comes as the Republican Party remains in the majority in the House and Senate until at least the midterms and Trump’s grip on the GOP has never been stronger.

The President’s revenge tour cost another political career Tuesday night, with Representative Nancy Mace coming in dead last in the South Carolina GOP gubernatorial primary, which is heading to a runoff.

Trump has been mostly successful with his endorsement kick – killing the political careers of several high-profile Republicans, including Texas Senator John Cornyn, with his endorsement of Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.

He also was able to get rid of Louisiana Senator Bill Cassidy, after endorsing Representative Julia Letlow.

Perhaps most infamously Kentucky Representative Thomas Massie lost after Trump backed Ed Gallrein.

But in Iowa last week, Republican voters chose Zach Lahn over the Trump-backed Randy Feenstra in the gubernatorial race.

Lahn was an insurgent candidate affiliated with Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr’s Make America Healthy Again movement.

Just last week, Trump condemned Republican lawmakers who voted for a Democratic-led bill that would strip him of power to wage war on Iran.

‘Yesterday, in a meaningless vote, the House voted, 4 bad Republicans and all of the Dumocrats, to limit my War Powers, right in the middle of my final negotiations to end the War with the Islamic Republic of Iran,’ the President wrote on Truth Social on Thursday.

Four Republicans broke ranks as the House voted in favor of the war powers resolution, which would force Trump to end fighting with Iran unless authorized by Congress.

The rebels included frequent critics of the President, Massie and Brian Fitzpatrick, as well as Army veterans Warren Davidson and Tom Barrett.

The vote is largely symbolic as any ‌resolution would still need to pass the Senate, and garner a two-thirds majorities in both chambers to overcome an almost certain Trump veto.

Trump accused the Democrats of committing an unpatriotic act, claiming the US holds the upper hand in negotiations with Iran, before turning his criticism on the dissenting Republicans.

‘The four Republicans, that’s a whole other story – They’re GRANDSTANDERS! They should be ashamed of themselves,’ the President concluded.

“When we began Gracie’s Corner six years ago, we never envisioned this path leading to a partnership with Disney for original content, nor did we anticipate seeing our work featured on Disney Jr. and Disney+,” expressed co-creators Dr. Arlene Gordon-Hollingsworth and Dr. Javoris Hollingsworth in a statement.

The couple said their mission has always been to create fun and educational content that encourages families to sing, dance, learn, and make memories together.
