Unveiling the Mysteries: New Insights into Bulls Champion Stacey King’s Surprising Passing

0

In a sorrowful turn of events, the basketball world mourns the loss of Stacey King, a legendary figure in Chicago Bulls history, following a tragic accident at his residence. According to ESPN Chicago’s David Kaplan, the former Bulls star passed away at the age of 59.

King’s untimely death occurred on Sunday, as confirmed by Kaplan. While the exact cause has not been officially released, it is known that a fall at his home led to the heartbreaking incident.

Kaplan expressed his heartfelt grief on social media, writing, “I am absolutely devastated by the news of Stacey King’s passing at just 59 years old after a fall at his home. His presence made every Bulls season enjoyable, regardless of how the team performed. Rest in peace, my friend. God bless you.”

Following the incident, medical examiners have indicated that a head autopsy will be conducted to provide clarity on the cause of death, as reported by ABC Chicago. King was discovered at his River Forest home, leaving a community in shock and mourning.

Reflecting on the sudden loss, King’s longtime friend, Ike White, shared his disbelief and sorrow with the station. “We had just talked recently and were planning to enjoy the summer together,” White said. “This morning, while driving, I received a call from his son telling me Stacey had passed. It was completely unexpected. After 30 years of friendship, it’s shocking to lose someone so suddenly. I’m hurting deeply… witnessing his son in tears, knowing there’s nothing you can do, is heart-wrenching.”

King has been a part of the Bulls for over 25 years after being drafted No. 6 overall out of Oklahoma in 1989.

King played on the Bulls until 1994 and was part of the franchise’s first three-peat led by Michael Jordan.

He lasted two more years in the NBA before falling out of the league. After a short stint in coaching, King joined the Bulls broadcast team in 2006 and the next year became a lead color commentator, a role he held until his death.

Bulls owner Jerry Reinsdorf also released a statement.

“Stacey King was a cherished member of the Bulls family and one of the truly unique personalities in our organization’s history,” Reinsdorf said. “His connection to Chicago, the Bulls and our fans spanned more than three decades — first as a player and later as the unmistakable voice that helped bring Bulls basketball into the homes of generations of fans… We will miss him deeply and remember the joy, energy, humor, candor and passion that he brought to our organization, our broadcasts, and our fans every day.”

Heroic Florida Deputy Saves Unresponsive Beachgoer in Thrilling Ocean Rescue

The Volusia Sheriff’s Office in Florida released dramatic video footage capturing the rescue of a woman from the ocean at New Smyrna Beach on Saturday.

The video, seemingly recorded from a body camera worn by an officer, reveals the tense moments as the officer dashed into the shallow water to retrieve the unresponsive woman.

As the officer began pulling the woman to safety, another person stepped in to assist in bringing her to shore.

“This morning, at 10:15 a.m., deputies were alerted to a swimmer in distress off New Smyrna Beach. Deputy Gourley quickly found the victim floating face down and dragged her to shore. The woman was unresponsive and had no pulse. Deputy Gourley, along with Deputy Manhart, immediately commenced CPR and managed to revive the 68-year-old woman,” the sheriff’s office detailed in a Facebook post.

The footage was shared by the Volusia Sheriff’s Office on their Facebook page, highlighting the quick actions taken to save the woman in New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

“Beach Safety arrived on scene and continued life-saving measures. The victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition,” they added.

The sheriff’s office’s social media post indicated that the deputies involved in the incident will be awarded.

“This serves as a powerful reminder that alert beachgoers, like those who spotted the woman and quickly alerted deputies, can make all the difference. Life-saving awards are forthcoming for the deputies involved for their heroic actions,” the post concluded.

Tropical Storm Boris Emerges off Mexico’s Pacific Coast, Poses Significant Flooding Risk

0

MIAMI — The U.S. National Hurricane Center has reported that Tropical Storm Boris emerged on Monday, poised to unleash significant rainfall, potential flooding, and the risk of mudslides along the southern Pacific coastline of Mexico.

Located approximately 85 miles southeast of Acapulco and 50 miles southwest of Punta Maldonado, Boris was packing maximum sustained winds of 40 mph as it moved northeast at a slow pace of 2 mph, according to the center based in Miami.

The storm was projected to shift northward, delivering between 4 to 10 inches of rain to the coastal regions of Guerrero and Oaxaca by Monday night. Forecasts indicated that Boris would make landfall on Guerrero’s coast by that evening.

“The anticipated rainfall could lead to life-threatening floods and mudslides, particularly in regions with steep terrain,” the center cautioned.

In response, a tropical storm warning was issued, spanning from Laguna de Chacahua in Oaxaca to Tecpan de Galeana in Guerrero, with expectations of tropical storm conditions affecting these areas within a 24-hour timeframe.

Boris was forecast to weaken once the center reaches the coast and dissipate inland by Tuesday. The storm isn’t expected to impact Mexico’s three World Cup host cities.

Boris is the second named storm of the Pacific hurricane season, which started May 15. Tropical Storm Amanda formed June 3 far out to sea, posing no threat to land.

The Atlantic hurricane season began June 1, but no cyclones have formed in that basin yet this year.

Discover the Hidden Highlights from Harriet and Peter’s Wedding

0

In a charming and intimate ceremony held in the picturesque Cotswolds, Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling exchanged vows on Saturday, with the presence of the king, queen, and other distinguished members of the royal family adding a regal touch to the occasion.

Son of Princess Anne, 48-year-old Peter Phillips, and his bride Harriet, a 45-year-old NHS nurse, radiated happiness as they celebrated their union. Harriet looked radiant in a stunning white Emilia Wickstead gown, complemented by the Pragnell family tiara. The newlyweds shared a tender kiss outside All Saints Church, capturing the essence of their special day.

The wedding was filled with heartwarming moments, including Harriet’s bridesmaids—her daughter Georgina, 14, alongside Peter’s daughters Isla, 14, and Savannah, 15—who gracefully assisted with her wedding train. Adding a touch of historical elegance, the couple departed the ceremony in the same Rolls-Royce that famously transported Meghan Markle to her wedding with Prince Harry eight years prior.

While the day was filled with memorable highlights, some noteworthy moments might have quietly passed by unnoticed. Among them was the appearance of the Princess of Wales’s former boyfriend and a fashion statement from Lena Tindall, who opted for chic high-street attire.

Explore the lesser-seen moments and charming details from Harriet and Peter’s royal wedding that may have slipped under the radar.

The youngest daughter of Zara and Mike Tindall, Lena, chose against designer clothes for Harriet and Peter’s wedding and instead sported an elegant frock from high street store, Reiss.

The royal, who was spotted protecting herself from the downpour with a rainbow patterned umbrella, donned the £98 Floral-Print Tie-Back Midi Dress, which featured a floral bloom print, three-quarter puff sleeves and a cut-out back with tie detail.

She completed her look with a pair of pink Mary Jane shoes from La Coqueta, a childrenswear label also loved by Princess Charlotte, who has been spotted in the brand’s designs, according to Hello.

On Saturday, Lena retained her title of most playful royal as she joyfully played in the rain while clutching a unicorn umbrella.

Lena was captured entertaining royal guests by toying with her vibrant brolly outside Kemble’s All Saints Church following the private ceremony.

Holding her umbrella above Mike’s head, the young royal erupted into a fit of laughter before pictures later showed the father carrying the item instead.

Harriet tributes Queen Elizabeth II

Peter’s new wife, Harriet, made a special tribute to his late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, in her bouquet on Saturday.

The NHS nurse included Lily of the Valley in her floral arrangement, which is said to have been a favourite of the monarch.

Lily of the valley, which was also included in the bridesmaids’ headpieces, was included in Elizabeth’s coronation bouquet in 1953.

The Queen, whose childhood nickname was Lilibet, chose it when the Royal Family shared their favourite blooms in 2020 after the pandemic forced the Chelsea Flower Show online.

Buckingham Palace said it had ‘special associations’ for the monarch since her coronation, and the sweet-scented flower also featured in Kate’s wedding bouquet.

Often used to symbolise trustworthiness, the woodland plant is grown in the grounds at Buckingham Palace.

Harriet also featured myrtle in her wedding bouquet, which, according to florist Millie Richardson, is a tradition typically followed in the royal family.

Richardson told the Telegraph, ‘Lily of the valley was definitely requested for its regal connotation.

‘Myrtle is a symbol of beauty, grace and love and was requested on the same basis. It’s always included in every royal wedding bouquet.’

Among the guests at the royal wedding were Rupert Finch and his wife, Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs, co-founder of the distinguished fashion brand Beulah.

It’s thought that Kate and Rupert dated during their student days at the University of St Andrews for a year or less, before the future queen went on to date William.

The exes have, it appears, remained on amicable terms, with former law student Rupert receiving an invite to Kate and William’s wedding in 2011.

Lady Natasha and Rupert, who wed in 2012, were among the first guests to arrive at the ceremony at All Saints Church in Kemble, Gloucestershire, on Saturday morning, and were greeted by Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, wearing one of her dresses.

Beulah is well known to be a high-society favourite, with The Princess of Wales and Princess Beatrice among its loyal customers.

Lady Natasha championed her own brand in a patterned Beulah dress, which Kate also owns.

The Princess of Wales wore the baby-blue Sonia dress to cheer on Prince William at a charity polo match in the summer of 2023.

Beulah also features in the wardrobe of nurse Ms Sperling, who wore one of its dresses in butter yellow to Ladies’ Day at the Royal Ascot last July.

Beulah London was founded in 2010 by Lady Natasha and Lavinia Brennan and has since become a must-have label among the upper echelons of society.

Princess Margaret’s lookalike granddaughter, Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones, made a rare appearance at Saturday’s festivities.

The 24-year-old, who is 28th in the line of succession to the throne and rarely appears in the public eye, leads a quiet life in Paris, where she is able to bike around without being recognised.

Lady Margarita moved to the French capital in September 2023 to study jewellery and photography.

Her creative instincts are likely to have been nurtured by her amicably divorced parents, the Earl of Snowdon – a carpenter and creator of luxury goods – and Serena, Countess of Snowdon, a keen amateur sculptor.

Margarita’s late grandfather was renowned portrait photographer Antony, Earl of Snowdon, who was married to Margaret from 1960 to 1978.

On Saturday, Margarita, who arrived alongside Isabelle de la Bruyere, was pictured looking chic in a powder blue dress and an extravagant gold headpiece.

Harriet’s tiara is known as the ‘Pragnell’ family tiara – and has royal connections that go back to the coronation of King George VI

Harriet was the perfect blushing bride in a white Emilia Wickstead gown and a family tiara.

Her priceless diamond tiara is known as the ‘Pragnell’ family tiara and has been worn by generations of the British jewellery firm, including at the Coronation of both King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II.

The pearl and diamond creation, on loan from Pragnell, has royal connections that go back to the coronation of Peter’s great-grandfather, King George VI.

The design incorporates both the Edwardian and Deco periods, and highlights a festoon of glittering leaves with floral motifs, and is very similar to a tiara owned by The Princess Royal, in the official photograph celebrating her 50th birthday in 2000.

She teamed her stunning wedding dress, featuring a square neckline and lace detailing, with Jimmy Choo shoes and Pragnell earrings. Her hair was kept in an elegant bun to best showcase the shimmering tiara.

The Tindalls’ warm display with the York sisters

One of the royal family’s most affable members, the husband of Zara Tindall, rushed towards ‘noticeably tense’ Beatrice and Eugenie to put them at ease when the York princesses attended Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling’s wedding

Peter’s wedding to Harriet Sperling underscored how King Charles was ‘reasserting control’ to welcome Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie back into the royal fold after months of controversy.

Days after a damning National Audit report found that they had never paid a penny in rent, Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 36, attended the royal nuptials, with Prince William also going out of his way to make them feel comfortable.

A royal expert claimed William, 43, seemed keen to maintain the ‘bond’ between himself and Beatrice when they came face-to-face outside All Saints Church in Gloucestershire – but no one was happier to see them than Mike Tindall.

One of the royal family’s most affable members, the husband of Zara Tindall, rushed towards ‘noticeably tense’ Beatrice and Eugenie to put them at ease, greeting them with smiles and hugs.

The former England rugby pro was the first to greet Beatrice, her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Eugenie, and her husband Jack Brooksbank as they walked up to the gates of the 11th-century church in Kemble on Saturday.

Footage showed Mike, 47, warmly planting a kiss on Beatrice’s cheek before sharing a heartfelt embrace with Edo, as X users said, ‘Mike is a hugger’.

In another sweet moment, Jack’s handshake with Mike also turned into a bear hug before Zara’s husband greeted a smiling Eugenie, who is pregnant with her third child.

It appears that Eugenie is especially close to Zara, Mike, and their three children, as the younger York princess could be seen joyfully hugging the couple’s daughter Mia, 12, in a separate clip.

Princess Eugenie, who was wearing an all-navy outfit with a matching hat, threw her arms around Mia outside the church in Gloucestershire, with the royal wedding undoubtedly bringing back pleasant memories for the pair.

Mia was Eugenie’s bridesmaid when she tied the knot with British marketing executive Jack at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle eight years ago.

Eugenie and Beatrice attended the wedding of Princess Anne’s son Peter and his now-wife Harriet just hours after the release of an ‘outrageous’ National Audit report found they have lived rent-free at royal residences for years.

A body language expert claimed the daughters of disgraced former Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor were noticeably ‘tense’ after the rental revelations, but it appears Mike stepped up to calm any nerves.

It’s perhaps of little surprise that Peter and Zara’s lesser-known half-sister, Stephanie Phillips, attended the ceremony at All Saints’ Church in Kemble, Gloucestershire.

Stephanie is the daughter of Princess Anne’s first husband, Captain Mark Phillips and his Hawaiian-born second wife, Sandy Pflueger. The American equestrian was married to Mark from 1997 until 2012, when the pair parted ways.

The 28-year-old was photographed wearing a red, floral dress outside the venue alongside her husband, agricultural graduate, William Hosier.

She largely keeps a low profile, having not made any public appearances with her siblings since her 2022 wedding in Tetbury, where Princess Anne was typically graceful as she watched her ex-husband Mark walk his daughter down the aisle.

Zara’s daughters, Mia and Lena, joined their cousins, Peter’s daughters with his ex-wife Autumn Kelly, Savannah and Isla, as flower girls at the nuptials. Meanwhile, Stephanie was also a flower girl at Zara’s 2011 wedding to Mike Tindall.

The Worcester-based eventing pro seems to share an especially warm relationship with Peter, with Stephanie describing him as ‘the best big brother out there’ in a post on Instagram, where she also previously shared photos of herself on exotic trips to glamorous destinations.

Like her parents and older sibling Zara, Stephanie is a keen equestrian – having posted pictures of her beloved horses online, while she also grew up a stone’s throw away from them on Aston Farm, on the Gatcombe Park estate.

Stephanie attended the prestigious Dean Close School in Cheltenham, where fees cost up to £13,900 per term.

After achieving CCD at A-Level, she went on to study Business Management at the University of Worcester and graduated in 2021.

Despite her royal connections, Stephanie remained out of the spotlight during her time at school and even worked as a barmaid at a local pub.

An accomplished rider, she’s competed at Barbury International, Wellington International Horse Trials and the West Wiltshire trials. She’s sponsored by saddle maker Voltaire Design and is often seen in trendy equestrian designs.

Royal Ties Renewed: Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling’s Heartfelt Union

On June 6, 2026, Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling tied the knot.

The 48-year-old entrepreneur, who is the offspring of Princess Anne and her former spouse Captain Mark Phillips, wed the NHS nurse at All Saints’ Church in Kemble, Gloucester, on Saturday. Attendees at the ceremony included Peter’s uncles, King Charles and Prince Edward, accompanied by Queen Camilla and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh. Also present were cousins Prince William, Princess Beatrice, and Princess Eugenie, along with their partners Catherine, Princess of Wales, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, and Jack Brooksbank.

Peter’s daughters from his previous marriage to Autumn Kelly, Savannah, 15, and Isla, 14, took on the role of bridesmaids, joined by Harriet’s 13-year-old daughter Georgina, whose father is Harriet’s former husband, Antonio St John Sperling.

Post-ceremony, Peter shielded his bride with a large white umbrella as they shared a kiss before entering a waiting vehicle. They then made their way to Gatcombe Park, Princess Anne’s residence, where their wedding reception was held.

After leaving the church, Peter sheltered his new wife with a large white umbrella and the couple shared a kiss as they got into a waiting car to be taken to Gatcombe Park, the home of Anne, for their reception.

Harriet wore an Emilia Wickstead dress teamed with Jimmy Choo shoes, Pragnell earrings, and the Pragnell family tiara, which had previously been present at the coronations of both King George VI and Peter’s grandmother, Quen Elizabeth II.

The bridesmaids wore matching cream shoes and dresses also by Emilia Wickstead and held the bride’s train as they headed into the church, with Harriet accompanied down the aisle by her brother Nicholas Sanders in lieu of their late father, Rupert Sanders, who passed away in 2023.

Peter wore a pale blue waistcoat and matching buttonhole flower, and was accompanied by his best man Andrew Tucker, a childhood friend.

Other guests included the groom’s sister, Zara Tindall, and her husband Mike, and his half-sister Stephanie Hosier and her husband William, as well as the bride’s mother Mary Sanders and sisters Rebecca Elder and Louisa Speakman.

Millie Richardson designed the wedding flowers and floral archways to the church and wedding reception, using locally sourced, English-grown flowers, which were sustainably minded and eco-conscious. All of the church arrangements are to be shared among the local community as a gesture of thanks for the support the couple received in planning their big day.

Peter and Harriet met at a hockey match their daughters were playing in and made their public debut as a couple during the Badminton Horse Trials in May 2024. They announced their engagement in August last year.

Alex Bregman Acknowledges Responsibility for Cubs’ Struggles Following $175 Million Contract Signing

0

The Chicago Cubs celebrated what seemed like a major coup by signing Alex Bregman away from the Red Sox with a substantial $175 million contract. However, the excitement has quickly turned to disappointment as Bregman’s performance has failed to meet expectations, marking a significant downturn in his career.

Bregman left Boston after just one commendable season, despite fervent appeals from Red Sox fans for him to stay. His transition to Chicago has been rocky, with his batting reaching unprecedented lows.

“I’ve been terrible,” Bregman candidly admitted following an ineffective 0-for-5 performance in a tight 2-1 extra innings defeat against the struggling Giants. “I need to play better. Offensively, it’s been awful. I’ve failed many times in this game. I’ve struggled. I’ve started slow before. I’ve started fast before. When you’re struggling, there is only one way forward, and that’s straight, head-on through it. It comes down to executing in the game.”

Initially, Bregman’s slump didn’t seem to hinder the Cubs, who enjoyed a promising start with a 29-16 record. Yet, the team has since hit a rough patch, going 5-16 in their last 21 games, causing them to fall to fourth place in the NL Central.

Bregman’s statistics reflect his struggles: a .669 OPS, a career low, along with just five home runs and 19 RBIs over 65 games. These figures are overshadowed even by players known for lighter bats, such as the Mets’ Marcus Semien, who has eight home runs and 25 RBIs, and the Yankees’ Ryan McMahon, with six home runs and 20 RBIs.

Bregman has been solid with the glove, still coming in at seventh in defensive runs saved among all third basemen.

“I haven’t executed all year,” Bregman said. “Runners in scoring position, I’ve been god-awful. I need to be better. If I’m better over the last how many games, we probably win the majority of them.”

One of the toughest moments of his season occurred on Sunday night. Bregman came to the dish in the eighth inning with runners on the corners and no one out in a 1-1 game.

Bregman was first-pitch swinging against left-hander Erik Miller, which resulted in a softly hit linedrive double play to run them out of the inning.

Bregman now leads all of baseball with 143 runners left on base this season.

Bass and Raman Lead in L.A. Mayoral Race as Pratt’s Support Declines

0

In a dynamic turn of events, Karen Bass and Nithya Raman have emerged as the frontrunners in the Los Angeles mayoral primary, setting the stage for a likely showdown in the November runoff. This development comes as reality TV star Spencer Pratt slips to third place in the race.

The announcement of Raman securing the number two spot was made by Decision Desk HQ on Sunday, with nearly 87 percent of the votes tallied. Bass, the incumbent, garnered 34.68 percent of the vote, while Raman followed closely with 27.12 percent.

Spencer Pratt, who initially held a lead over Raman, received 26.69 percent. His early advantage has dwindled over the past week as mail-in ballots have been counted. Meanwhile, Bass had already solidified her place in the runoff by June 2.

Despite the current standings, Pratt has yet to concede. On Sunday, he suggested his campaign might hold out until July 6 to ensure every vote is counted. “Remember everyone…we are still in the lead, and we’ve got allllllll the way til July 6th to keep counting. They’re not the only ones who know where to find votes,” he stated, indicating his determination to continue the fight.

Spencer Pratt has not yet conceded the election and even said earlier on Sunday that his campaign may wait until July 6 to count all votes.

“Remember everyone…we are still in the lead, and we’ve got allllllll the way til July 6th to keep counting. They’re not the only ones who know where to find votes,” he said on Sunday.

“California elections often take several days to resolve, a function of the nation’s most populous state running a largely mail-in election in which properly postmarked ballots received up to seven days after Election Day can be counted,” noted CNN.

“Votes reported after election night in California tend to shift toward Democrats, as they typically include mail ballots that were cast closer to Election Day itself,” it added.

The Los Angeles mayoral race is non-partisan, but both Karen Bass and Nithya Raman are registered Democrats, while Pratt is a registered Republican.

Jose Mourinho Returns to Real Madrid: Florentino Perez’s Re-election Sparks New Era with Plans for Four Star Signings, Including a Liverpool Departure

In a significant development for Real Madrid, Jose Mourinho has made a return to the club following Florentino Perez’s re-election as president in Madrid.

Last month, the 63-year-old Mourinho agreed to a three-year contract to rejoin Real Madrid, contingent upon Perez securing another term as president. This condition was met on Sunday evening after a contentious campaign where Perez promised to bring back Mourinho as head coach. During the campaign, both presidential candidates pledged to attract star players to the team.

Upon his re-election victory, Perez expressed his enthusiasm for Mourinho’s return, stating, “We are proud to welcome back one of the best coaches in the world, a true Madridista.”

Perez, who has led the club for a total of 23 years over two periods—initially from 2000 to 2006 and then from 2009 onward—has consistently won the last five elections without opposition. He secured 65% of the vote, ensuring another five-year tenure at the helm of the club.

During the election campaign, Perez also committed to making a substantial bid of at least €150 million (£129 million) on Tuesday for an undisclosed “galactico,” in addition to signing three new players. Potential signings include Nico Paz, Jacobo Ramon, and Victor Munoz.

Mourinho, 63, signed a three-year deal last month to rejoin his former side, but the move was dependent on Perez's renewal as president

He said last week: ‘I’m going to make an offer to a Champions League club soon, on Tuesday, which will be the biggest payment Real Madrid has ever made for a player, at least 150 million.

‘It’s not (Michael) Olise, he’s a great player, but it’s not him; it’s not (Jeremy) Doku, it’s not (Erling) Haaland, it’s not (Harry) Kane… But he plays at a level above midfield. And he’s not from the Premier League. He’s a total Galactico.’

Despite Perez publicly denying that Michael Olise is his target, The Telegraph have reported that the 24-year-old Bayern Munich winger is exactly who the president is prioritising.

His 37-year-old challenger, Enrique Riquelme, lost with 35 per cent after 33,555 members took to the polls. Madrid is owned by its 100,000 members, or ‘socios’. The results were held up after Riquelme challenged the validity of around 1,000 postal votes, of which over 400 were eventually struck off.

Riquelme, an energy millionaire from Alicante, had suggested during the two-week campaign the club was in a ‘serious financial crisis’ after overspending and accused Perez of plotting to privatise it.

He said he would attempt to convince Jurgen Klopp to come as coach, and that he would appoint Raul Gonzalez Blanco as his sporting director. He also said he was confident of signing Manchester City duo Haaland and Rodri.

Congratulating Perez on his victory in the early hours of Monday morning, the defeated Riquelme said: ‘For us, this is not the end. It is the beginning. The club members will not go another 20 years without voting.’

Perez’s reappointment now means that the formalities surrounding payment to Benfica of Mourinho’s €15m (£13m) release clause – a price which has nearly doubled due to the delay caused by the election – will now be completed, and the deal is expected to be wrapped up in the coming hours. Fulham manager Marco Silva will replace Mourinho at the Lisbon club.

Mourinho returns 13 years after his departure in 2013, when he won La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup in his three years in charge, before his move back to Chelsea.

The Portuguese will lead a summer rebuild which has already seen Ibrahima Konate and Denzel Dumfries sign up and more expected to arrive in the coming weeks and months, with Dani Carvajal and David Alaba going the other way. Dani Ceballos is also set for the exit door.

Mourinho has undoubtedly been tasked with restoring order to a fractured dressing room following escalating tensions among the players that have intensified throughout the season. This reached its peak with the fight between Federico Valverde and Aurelien Tchouameni last month.

Florentino Perez won Real Madrid's presidential re-election, confirming Mourinho's arrival

Valverde, 27, went to hospital with a head injury after the spat with 26-year-old France international Tchouameni, although he denied the pair ‘came to blows’. Both players attended an internal disciplinary meeting and accepted fines of £432,000 (€500,000) each.

Mourinho will also undoubtedly want to take a look at Madrid’s performance sector, specifically physical conditioning and medical services, as these two issues have plagued the team throughout the season (there were 58 injuries and 20 players sidelined last season) and were a source of friction between Xabi Alonso and the club.

West Wilson is addressing the buzz surrounding his recent trip to Italy with Amanda Batula, dispelling rumors that the getaway was an attempt to dodge the Summer House season 10 reunion.

The Bravo personality assured listeners that the speculation arose before people realized the trip was for a family celebration.

He further explained, “My cousin was getting married, so that’s why I went.”

He added, “I grew up in a house where my family split the f***ing bills.”

West and Amanda’s Italy trip came as the Summer House season 10 reunion began airing on May 26. The pair found themselves in the hot seat for most of the reunion after details about their relationship were revealed.

West and Amanda released a joint statement on March 31 confirming that they are dating. Amanda was previously married to fellow Summer House costar Kyle Cooke, while West dated her best friend Ciara Miller in 2023.

While they’re officially back in America, photos and videos from West and Amanda’s recent trip abroad have continued to go viral.

DeuxMoi posted another photo on Friday which showed West and Amanda dining in Sicily, Italy. One image showed Amanda seemingly spitting into West’s open mouth. He backed away shortly after.

Fans have had a lot of thoughts about West and Amanda’s romance, but actor Jerry O’Connell — a huge Bravo fan — shared a different take last month.

“I am about to get eviscerated,” he wrote in the comments section of the airport photo. “What if these kids make it? Also, kinda want to go to a watch party in LA, for reunion. Anyone have info? I will also go to someone’s house/apt and bring White Claws.”

Laura Adlington, known for her participation in the eighth series of “Great British Bake Off” in 2020, has openly addressed a wave of negativity directed at her online. The 36-year-old recently found herself targeted by a fat-shaming troll who inundated her with mean-spirited remarks.

In April, Laura shared the joyful news that she and her husband Matt are expecting their first child. With her due date approaching, Laura has maintained her role as a vocal advocate for self-love, frequently encouraging her social media followers to embrace their bodies with confidence and pride.

On Thursday, Laura took to her Instagram Stories to confront the negativity head-on, posting a screenshot of the unkind messages she received. The troll had written: “I’m calling it – due to weight issues, you will have interventions galore plus c-section.”

Despite the hurtful nature of these comments, Laura’s response underscores her commitment to promoting body positivity and standing up against online harassment. Her candid approach serves as a reminder of the importance of kindness and acceptance, both online and off.

They penned: ‘I’m calling it – due to weight issues, you will have interventions galore plus c-section

‘Where is the baby?? It’s just a blubber…

‘Laure and you [husband] take up far TOO MUCH oxygen. Honestly, have you actually seen yourself? So unfair to put your baby at risk because of your super size. Any midwife/doctor would tell you the same. You are a risk. Fact.’

Calling out the troll for their comments, Laura wrote on top of the screenshot: ‘What a delightful human.’

It comes after Laura stripped down to her underwear in July as she shared a candid body positivity message.

Taking to her Instagram, Laura posed in black underwear in a mirror selfie with ‘Not a “before” photo…’ penned on top.

Opening up with her followers, she wrote: ‘Lately, my feed has been full of “before and after” photos – most of them starting with a body that looks like mine. Or smaller.

‘And I get it – people are allowed to change. To feel proud of themselves.

‘But I wish more people would think about how they speak about their “old” selves.

‘Because a lot of us still live in those bodies. Still *are* that body. And it hurts to be reminded, over and over, that your version of a nightmare body is ours.

‘The body positivity movement was supposed to make space for people in marginalised bodies, the bodies the world ignores or mocks.

‘But it feels like that space is shrinking again – and the loudest voices belong to the people who were never excluded to begin with.

‘I’m getting really tired of the fatphobia disguised as wellness.

‘Of the casual cruelty in “progress” captions. Of feeling like simply existing in my body is something I have to defend.

‘So no, this isn’t a transformation photo… It’s a reminder that this body, as it is right now, is enough. And so is yours.’

It comes after Laura left her followers in tears as she penned an emotional letter to her unborn baby last month.

The star reflected on reaching the halfway stage of her pregnancy after a nine-year fertility battle.

Laura confirmed in June that she is expecting a boy, after sharing the news they were expecting a baby after quietly ‘giving IVF a try.’

In the picture, Laura cradled her blossoming bump in a pretty white and blue summer dress while sharing her letter to her baby in the caption of her post.

She began her post: ‘Dear baby, We’re over halfway. Can you believe it?

‘Some days it still doesn’t feel quite real, and if I’m honest I still feel like I’m living in a dream. Like I don’t deserve this.

‘Ever since the day I found out about you, I’ve been waking up at around 4am. I lie there in the dark, imagining what it will feel like to finally hold you.

‘I wonder what kind of person you’ll grow into, what your laugh will sound like, what little quirks will make you, you.

‘It’s been a really long journey to get here, one filled with a lot of heartache. And although I’d be lying if I said we weren’t both still waiting for the rug to be pulled from under our feet, we are finally letting ourselves dream a little louder.

‘I’ve been busy making lists of all the things you might need. I can’t wait to get your pram and start putting your nursery together – tiny steps towards the day you come home.

She finished emotionally: ‘But more than anything, I just can’t wait to meet you. To hold you. To look into your eyes and finally whisper, “You’re here. We did it.”
