Was Damian Bendall Swindon Arrested? Killamarsh Terri Harris Boyfriend – A mother killed with her two children and one of their classmates at a sleepover was said to have told friends she was pregnant again – as police continued to hold a man believed to be her boyfriend on suspicion of their murders.

Neighbours and family of Terri Harris today claimed she had said she was expecting another child before she was killed.

Ms Harris, 35, and her two children Lacey Bennett, 11, and John Paul Bennett, 13, were found dead alongside Connie Gent, 11, on Sunday morning.

It is understood that her boyfriend Damien Bendall, 31, was taken to hospital with self-inflicted wounds before being arrested by police over the four bodies in the house in Chandos Crescent in Killamarsh, Derbyshire.

A neighbour and friend said Ms Harris had told her she was in the starting stages of her new pregnancy.

And Diane Bennett, 63, Lacey and John Paul’s paternal grandmother said at the scene today: ‘I don’t know how we will cope, but we are a loving family.

‘I can’t come to terms with what happened. Three kids have been killed. No child should have to go through all of that.

‘I heard she was pregnant, but I don’t know.’

It came as the father of one of the girls killed, Charlie Gent, shared emotional footage of Connie.

The 20-second compilation showed his little girl looking happy with him and his partner Julie Potts.

It came just hours after comments from Jason Bennett, whose daughter Lacey and son John Paul were found dead.

Mr Bennett had earlier rushed from a holiday in Devon to the site of the killings in Chandos Crescent in Killamarsh, which is near Sheffield but over the Derbyshire border.

He collapsed in tears as he laid flowers for his children at the police cordon around the semi-detached house on Monday night.

Mr Bennett stayed at the scene for more than half-an-hour on Monday, and said he was ‘heartbroken; million pieces; shattered’.

Connie, Lacey, John Paul and Ms Harris were found dead on Sunday morning in the house following the sleepover between best friends Connie and Lacey on Saturday night.

A fundraising page set up on GoFundMe for the families of the victims has now raised more than £14,000.

Derbyshire Police said a 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder at the scene and remains in custody, with officers not having any prior contact with those involved.

A neighbour said today: ‘I didn’t hear anything when the attack happened, but on the night before there was an argument – they were shouting.

‘It’s so heartbreaking because the little kids have done nothing wrong. Terri told my mum she was pregnant but couldn’t tell anyone yet as it was still early in the pregnancy.

‘Mum said she wants to move out, she is not dealing with it well. As soon as we can find a way out, she said she is done with Killamarsh.’

An online portal has now been set up by the force to report information or send CCTV, doorbell video or dashcam footage to help the police probe.

Detective Chief Inspector Sally Blaiklock said: ‘Our thoughts remain with the families of Terri, John Paul, Lacey and Connie – as well as the communities that have been affected by this most tragic of incidents.

‘A large scene remains in place on Chandos Crescent and local residents will see an increased police presence in the area over the coming days, including patrols by officers in the local area.

‘I would urge anyone who is concerned about the incident to speak to officers in the area or use the online reporting tool to pass information in confidence.

‘Myself and the team of the detectives are particularly keen to hear from anyone who was in Chandos Crescent between 6pm on Saturday 18 September and 7am on Sunday 19 September, as well as anyone who may have video footage of the street.

‘That can include dashcam, mobile phone footage, CCTV or video doorbells.’

Terrible news out this morning of the death of Angelo Codevilla, at age 78, reportedly the victim of a drunk driver.

It is hard to overstate the importance and brilliance of Angelo. If you only knew him by his many books and columns (including this 2015 piece he wrote for Power Line on Trump’s significance and prospects), it would be sufficient to establish his greatness. But he was also at the storm center of key aspects of American intelligence and foreign policy going back more than 40 years.

As a Senate Intelligence Committee staff aide to Wyoming Senator Malcolm Wallop in the late 1970s, Angelo was instrumental in exposing the perils of our arms control strategy vis-a-vis the Soviet Union. But it was also in this same time period that Codevilla and Wallop revived the idea of strategic missile defense, thus setting up President Reagan’s Strategic Defense Initiative in the 1980s. Codevilla was a keen critic of how the Pentagon bureaucracy did its best to delay and undermine even the research program for SDI let alone eventual deployment, such that we still don’t have the robust missile defense capability that technological progress has made eminently possible.

In recent years Angelo took on the mantle of gentleman farmer, growing premium wine grapes up in the Sierra foothills southeast of Sacramento, but where he also continued to issue forth a series of short books (especially The Ruling Class—a favorite of Rush Limbaugh) and notable articles. Mrs Litvinenko, tears welling in her eyes, said: “Every time I think about going, something happens, like what happened with Sergei Skripal, what happened to Nikolai Glushkov, or sometimes what happened inside of Russia, when innocent people are put in prison for posting on their Facebook.

“Sometimes I think that nothing will happen to me and when I come to Russia I will be so sad because I wasted my time – I could not see my mum for a long time, I couldn’t go the funeral of my father.

“You know it’s very difficult to understand what is right to do and what is not, because it’s all about people who I love and who I want to see.

“But I have my son here and I don’t think he would behave if something happened to me in Russia. I just try to keep a balance of what I need to do.”

She says she is no longer able to see her mother, who used to travel to the UK, because she is too fragile to leave Russia since the death of her father.

Her mother regularly implores her daughter not to be controversial and not to “say something illegal (in Russia)”, so Mrs Litvinenko will be safe to go to Moscow to see her.

Despite claims by British Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson that Vladimir Putin was “overwhelmingly likely” to have ordered the attack on Mr Skripal and his daughter, Mrs Litvinenko was reluctant to lay the blame entirely at the Russian President’s door.

She said he is a “mouthpiece” for the “special people” at the top of Russian politics and society, uniting several “absolutely different groups”, and was now a “slave to (the) system” who does not live an “easy life”.

“This man represents the special people around him; it’s not just about Mr Putin. It’s more about representation of people who support him and his way,” she said.

“He couldn’t do anything himself, without this support. We know he represents the military – people from military office; people from security office; and some people from intelligence service office.

“He needs to deliver everything that these people want.”

Mr Putin’s re-election for another six years did not surprise her, she said, as the atmosphere inside Russia is the same as in the era of Josef Stalin – the brutal dictator who repressed the country for decades and is said to be responsible for the deaths of millions.

“When… people support Putin, (and) go… and vote for him, I… remember what happened to Russian people during Stalin era.

“It’s the same. They believed this guy. They believed he was the father of Russia. He (Stalin) killed so many people and life was so tough.

“And it makes me feel very nervous… because, when it was the Breshnev era, in the 70s, people were very cynical. They understood.

“But today, some of them are not cynical. They really believe Putin wants to protect them from (the) West and the West wants to destroy Russia.”

She said she would not be surprised if Mr Putin – who has already been President for 18 years – tries to change Russia’s constitution to allow him to remain in the post potentially permanently, in a similar way to a change enacted by China’s leader Xi Jinping, who has abolished a limit on terms in power.

Mrs Litvinenko said what was required in response to the poisonings of Mr Skripal and his daughter was for the British government to be “strong”.

She said the only course of action was punitive personal sanctions against people who have benefited from the way Russia has been run since the 1990s and who spend their wealth in Britain and Europe.

“When you talk about what are the better things to do, it’s all about money,” she said.

In the movie, “Goddess Patty” would make one of the main stuntmen – Wee Man, performed by Jason Acuña – disappear.

She did this by jumping onto him while he lay down on a bed.

Patty went on to star in one episode of the show “My Big Fat Fetish” where she talked about being paid by men to sit on them for pleasure.

Actress Goddess Patty Death Cause

The American actress, famed for playing the role of Goddess Patty in the popular Jackass films, passed away on Friday at a hospital in Reno, Nevada, where she was being treated for complications related to her type 1 diabetes.

The actress’s daughter, Priscilla, told TMZ that her mother had been dealing with complications since birth. She said her kidneys began to fail as a result of the lifelong struggle she had with her health and weight.

Priscilla also confirmed that her mom’s death was not coronavirus-related.

“We want to express our immense gratitude for the love and kindness everyone has shown to our mom,” Priscilla told TMZ.

“Being able to entertain and bring light and happiness to people was the highlight of her life. She was so proud of the work she did in the film industry.”

Patty starred in Jackass 2 in 2006, as well as Jackass 2.5 in 2007. She rose to fame in the part of the movie where she made Wee Man – American stunt performer Jason Acuña – disappear.

Her family has set up a GoFundMe page where they are raising $6,000 to cover the funeral and other expenses.
