Are Yasin Sulaiman And Waheeda Wassini Married? Wife Name Revealed

Yasin Sulaiman and Waheeda Wassini are not married. She is a Malaysian singer, composer, actress, and entrepreneur who represented Malaysia at the international level in the Voice of Asis music festival in 2004. 

Waheeda’s Wikipedia page states that she got married to an independent singer and preacher, Akhil Hayy, on August 16, 2009. The beautiful wedding ceremony took place on August 16, 2009, at the Jamek Ar-Rahimah Mosque, Kuala Kubu Baru, Selangor. 

 

 

Despite several rumors, Sulaiman and Wassini are not married. He has not revealed the name of his wife or partner to the media. It is unclear if he has posted any pictures of his wife on Instagram, as his account is currently private. 

Sulaiman, whose full name is Mohamad Yasin bin Sulaiman, was born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. His current age is 46 years, as he was born on October 30, 1975. He is associated with the Kumpulan Brothers and Hush Entertainment.

Yasin Sulaiman Got Arrested For Growing Drugs

Yasin Sulaiman was arrested on March 24 and accused of trafficking cannabis that weighed around 214gm. The offense was allegedly committed at his residence in Kota Damansara.

 

 

He was earlier charged with growing drugs and cultivating 17 plants which are believed to be cannabis at the same place. Sulaiman pleaded not guilty to the charge before sessions court judge Norshila Kamaruddin. 

According to Free Malaysia Today, Sulaiman’s case will be transferred to the High Court as the sentence provides for the death penalty. 

Yasin Sulaiman Jail And Charges Details Revealed

Yasin Sulaiman could face a possible death sentence and jail time after getting charged with trafficking cannabis at the magistrates’ court. The charges were read out before magistrate Zhafran Rahim Hamzah, but no plea has been taken from him.

He got charged under Section 39B (1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. Sulaiman is punishable under Section 39B (2) of the same Act up to 15 strokes of the rotan and the death penalty or life imprisonment, upon conviction. 

The singer has also been charged under Section 6B (1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. It provides not less than six strokes of the rotan and life imprisonment upon conviction.
