When it comes to the rivalry between ONE Championship and the UFC, the Asian promotion’s Chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong advised everyone to look at the numbers.
During the ONE Fight Night 8 on Prime Video press conference at Singapore Indoor Stadium on Thursday, Sityodtong once again raved about ONE’s dominance over the North America-based organization in terms of its astonishing finishing rate during its events:
“I think the last thing is we have a 70% finish rate. And UFC has about a 38% finish rate,” Chatri Sityodtong said. “So who’s more exciting? I think we let our fans around the world speak.”
Considered one of the largest martial arts organizations in the world today, the Singapore-based ONE Championship treats its fans around the world with the highest standards of combat sports.
Apart from mixed martial arts, ONE also hosts striking-only matches through its star-studded Muay Thai and kickboxing divisions. Moreover, the promotion’s burgeoning submission grappling scene is also growing by the day.
ONE Championship’s roster across all sports is littered with finishers who make sure fans get their money’s worth with scintillating performances inside the circle.

Meanwhile, Chatri Sityodtong believes the finishes will keep on coming this weekend at ONE Fight Night 8: Superlek v.s Williams on Prime Video on March 24.
The entire card will stream live in US primetime and free for all Amazon Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
