Jamie Foxx Children: Meet Jamie Foxx Two Daughters

The Soul singer’s daughter Corinne, whom he shares with his ex-Connie Kline, was born in 1994, marking the beginning of his fatherhood. He didn’t have his second daughter, Anelise Bishop, 14, with his ex Kristin Grannis until 15 years later.

In a 2017 interview with PEOPLE, Foxx discussed his experience raising his two kids in the entertainment industry. “In our field, things might occasionally become hectic, but my daughter, who is 23 years old and a college graduate, is just fantastic. Corinne Foxx, 29

On February 15, 1994, Corinne Foxx was born in Los Angeles. Prior to enrolling in the University of Southern California’s public relations program, Corinne completed her high school education at Sierra Canyon School. After finishing college, she continued her father’s acting career by enrolling at the Howard Fine Acting Studio and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

The young actress has made appearances in a number of films and TV shows, including Dollface, Safety, and 47 Meters Down: Uncaged. Along with her father, she co-hosts the game show Beat Shazam.

Corinne stated that Foxx is “the most supportive dad in the world” and that his support “gives me the confidence to do so much” in a 2019 interview on PEOPLE Now.

In 2014, Corinne also made her modeling debut when she was captured on camera for the Icing accessories brand. Prior to walking the runway at the Sherri Hill fashion show the following year, in 2017, she made her New York Fashion Week debut in 2016 during the Yeezy presentation. Foxx also assisted Corinne in “training” Rocky Balboa-style for her role as Miss Golden Globe 2016 in a funny video that was released in January 2016.

Foxx rejoiced when his daughter received a Creative Arts Emmy for her performance in Live in Front of a Studio Audience: “Good Times” in September 2020.

” The proud dad shared a video on Instagram of the two toasting their wine glasses, captioned, “I would like to introduce to you my daughter Emmy award-winning @corinnefoxx !!!! Congratulations on your Emmy award performance!!!… You are my heart and I am so proud of you… Keep elevating… I love you!”

Corinne has been equally as supportive of her father’s career over the years. She was right by his side when he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2007 and she has accompanied him to many of his movie premieres.

 

Anelise Bishop, 14

 

On October 3, 2008, Anelise Bishop was born in Los Angeles. Anelise has Foxx’s love of music, while Corinne has her father’s passion for acting. Foxx revealed to Entertainment Tonight in August 2020 that Anelise had started playing the piano. We have been able to connect in such a way, and that is what has been terrific, he remarked.

My 11-year-old can now play the piano so proficiently that she performs my songs as I sing along to them, he continued. We are all fortunate that she said, “I am going on tour with you.”

Foxx brought Anelise to an exclusive event in Dallas in January 2022. Anelise sat down at the piano to perform her father’s song, “In Love By Now,” as he sang to her at one point in the evening.

Jamie is a really great parent, a guest at the occasion told PEOPLE. He spent the entire night with his girlfriend and left the event to put her to sleep.

Anelise enjoys sports especially, in addition to music. Foxx excitedly discussed his daughter’s basketball prowess in an interview with Good Morning America in October 2019. He said, “Her last game before COVID, she was playing with the boys, she had 21 points, 17 rebounds, and 5 blocks.”
