Singer Phi Nhung did not survive despite the treatment and efforts of doctors and nurses at Cho Ray Hospital. The singer’s death was announced online by the Cho Ray hospital.
Phi Nhung was diagnosed with significant COVID-19 problems, lung consolidation, and partial lung necrosis, as well as Cytokine storm and multi-organ failure, shortly before her death.
The patient had continuous dialysis while on ECMO (cardiopulmonary bypass).
Phi Nhung was admitted to Gia An 115 Hospital on August 15. Still, her condition deteriorated, so she was transferred to Cho Ray Hospital on August 26, where she has been receiving treatment for one month and two days.
The singer took care of her health by testing for COVID-19 every week, but an unknown source sadly afflicted her.
She was such a lovely spirit that her charitable work in Vietnam spanned more than 20 years and resulted in the adoption of 23 orphans. Whenever people face difficulties due to natural disasters such as floods and droughts, Phi Nhung is always present.

Phi Nhung’s mother died when she was 11 years old in 1982. Phi Nhung returned to live with her grandparents after losing both of her parents. She’d struggled to make enough money to support her five siblings.
