She comes from a highly respected and renowned Navy family. Including her father Mark Milley, and grandfather, Alexander Milley, both have been in the US Navy.

Alexander Milley was enlisted in the U.S. Navy in March 1943 as a Navy Corpsman. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, a Catholic fraternal organization open only to practicing Catholics.

Hollyanne Milley has spent the last twelve years specializing in cardiac nursing, along with volunteering in the Appalachian Mountains every summer, caring for folks who cannot afford medical treatment.
