Trisha Broadbridge – As tsunami survivor Trisha Silvers arrived at her beautiful beach-side wedding, the only thing that could calm her nerves was the man waiting for her at the end of the aisle!
Tying the knot in Brighton, Melbourne Trisha and her handsome groom Jake Squires shared the vows they had written themselves in front of 100 of their closest friend and family.
It’s been 10 years since Trisha tragically lost Troy Broadbridge – her AFL player husband of just eight days – when he was swept away in the devastating 2004 Boxing Day tsunami that claimed 230,000 lives in 14 countries.
Incredibly lucky to have survived the deadly wall of water herself, Trisha thought she’d never be happy again. But she has once again found happiness with Jake and is now 20 weeks pregnant with a little girl!
Although the pair had been trying to start a family, Jake was unaware they were expecting when he popped the question.
“To be a family before our daughter arrives is just the icing on the cake,” says Trisha.
We fell in love so quickly and it almost felt too good to be true.”
The pair will now honeymooning in Mauritius before coming home to prepare for the birth of their precious baby.

Trisha Broadbridge got married to her fiance in 2015. Now she is named Trisha Squires. Broadbridge is the surname that she adopted from her previous husband who died in the Tsunami in 2004. Her birth name is Trisha Silvers according to her Wikipedia.

She was lucky enough to survive the deadly wall of water but also was unfortunate as she lost her newlywed husband. The deadly 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami claimed 230,000 lives in 14 countries.

 

However, she once again found love in Jack Squires. The couple tied the knot in 2015. She was 20 months pregnant when he popped the question.

As per the news, she shared that she was happy to be a family before their daughter arrived. The pair went on a honeymoon in Mauritius and later came back to prepare for the birth of their first child.

Who Is Troy Broadbridge Wife?

Troy Broadbridge wife is Trisha Broadbridge. But, his marriage life was short-lived as he died within eight days of their wedding in a Tsunami on December 26, 2004.

He died at the young age of 24. The couple was out on a honeymoon in the Phi Phi Islands, Thailand. He drowned after being swept away to the sea caused by Tsunami that followed Indian Ocean Earthquake as per the reports. 

He was a popular AFL player who played for Melbourne Football Club. He was just at the beginning of his career when he died. He first started playing football professionally in 2000.

Despite his short-lived football journey, he was able to leave an impression in the sports industry.

 

Details On Trisha Broadbridge New Husband

Trisha Broadbridge new husband is Jack Squires. He is a Barman by profession who grew up in Tasmania.

Trisha also moved to Hobart, Tasmania from Melbourne to start her new life with her new family after her marriage. The couple is said to have opened a smoothie and coffee bar in Sandy Bay.

They are now leading happy family lives with two children named Harper and Holly.
