Justin Thornton died due to injuries sustained in a BKFC match on Monday, October 4, 2021, as per mmasucka.com. He got injured during the fight.

The fight against Dillon Cleckler, ended up with several punches within seconds with one final punch caught him flush. He suffered a serious knock-out loss.

He immediately fell unconscious. He hit his head hard on the cage and remained unconscious for several minutes before being removed from the cage.

The referee was concern about his condition as he mentioned his bad hurts. The news now says he succumbed to his injuries. It’s sad how the fight ended up in death.

He was knocked out during a rapid-fire exchange in the middle of the ring. The report revealed he was partially paralyzed after the fight and remained in the hospital for a long.

He had an infection from a spinal cord injury. The exact reason for his death has not been announced yet. He had not won an MMA fight since October 2016.
