Maya Jama Parents Nationality – Who Are Hussein And Sadie Jama?  – Maya Jama, known for her jokey antics on Celebrity Juice and one of TV’s most in-demand presenters, has had a difficult time with her father.

Dad Hussein, 52, spent most of her young life in and out of jail and has opened up about how he wishes he had a relationship with the star.

Maya, born in Bristol to Hussein and Swedish mum Sadie, 45, is currently on our screens with ex-England striker Peter Crouch on Crouchy’s Year-Late Euros: Live.

But Hussein says she has cut him out of her life and he watches her on TV while hoping they may one day reconnect.

The dad told The Sun he spent time in and out of jail from the age of 17, but “calmed down” when Maya was born.

Maya Jama is a Bristol-based English television presenter.

She is a well-known personality in her field, named after the famous civil rights activist and poet Maya Angelou.

The TV personality describes her estranged relationship with her father as a result of his problematic behavior. However, Maya remains close to her mother even though she is not in talks with her father.

Hussein and Sadie Jama are parents of Maya Jama, a well-known TV presenter from Bristol. There has been not much information about their marriage. However, it had come to light that Maya’s mother, Sadie, was only 19 years old when she gave birth to Maya. The Jama couple welcomed another child after Maya, a son named Omar.

Sadie was a devoted mother for her two children, with whom she is still in touch. Similar is not the case for Hussein. According to reports, he had been in and out of prison since Sadie was a child.

Maya’s father dealt with various violence-led cases like pub fights since his young life, which carried on even after his children’s birth.

Talking to The Guardian, Maya recalls her early memory of her dad when police knocked on their home’s door and asked for her dad. That day as an innocent little girl, she told the truth about his hiding place. She recounts feeling guilty at that moment. 

 

 

Maya stopped talking to her dad after she turned 14 years of age. The idea which his father sides’ family supported. She remembers being them being their her and her brother. 

However, her father Hussein hopes they will reconnect again. He sees her grow in her career and conquer amazing things from the front side of the television.

Maya Jame’s father Hussein and Sadie Jama are of two different nationalities. Hussein is Somalian, and Sadie is from Sweden. 

The mixed heritage is part of the reason why millions of people adore the brunette beauty. As a famous presenter, she has gained 2.4 million followers on the photo-sharing app Instagram. She is an expressive person. Maya shares a part of her life in good hopes that someone can relate to it and believe they can overcome the barrier. 

She did so for Channel 5 about families whose dads are in and out of prison in 2017. 

Maya Jama Family – How many Siblings does she have? 

Maya Jama has one brother and one sister. Hussein and Sadie welcomed their second child, a son, two years after she was born.

Omar is the name of her brother. There isn’t much information available about her brother or her extended family. We came to know that her family is supportive and made sure to make her feel loved in any way they could.
