Where Is Jim Castillo Going After Leaving KSDK 5? Castillo is a meteorologist who works as a weather forecaster for KSDK 5.

Jim Castillo Phillips is a licensed broadcast meteorologist who works for KSDK 5 On Your Side in St. Louis, Missouri. In 2015, he left KTLA to marry and move to northern Indiana, where he worked as a commercial real estate broker.

Castillo has worked at WNYW in New York City, KCBS and KTLA in Los Angeles, and WTXF in Philadelphia. He spent time in Seattle, first as the lead meteorologist at KCPQ and later as a meteorologist at KOMO.

He has worked on the CBS program Criminal Minds and the BBC America series Torchwood: Miracle Day, among other projects. Castillo acted in the films Leap of Faith, Blink, With Honors, and Duplex while working full-time in television news.

There are rumors that Jim Castillo is leaving KSDK 5 and going to another network to continue his career.

Castillo joined KSDK as a meteorologist in January 2020, working on Fridays at 4 p.m., 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 10 p.m., Saturdays at 5 p.m., 6 p.m., and 10 p.m., and Tuesdays through Thursdays at 5 p.m.

Severe weather can be stressful for some children. Jim, on the other hand, found it fascinating. It inspired him to pursue a career as a meteorologist and ensure the safety of other families.

Jim attended Brown Elementary School, Hazelwood Central High School, and the University of Missouri-Columbia. While rooting on the Tigers at basketball and football games, he obtained a degree in atmospheric science.

Jim has also worked in three of the country’s top five media markets, winning multiple Emmys, Associated Press awards, a Golden Mic, and an Edward R. Murrow award.

He’s also offered his acting chops to several film and television productions, including the CBS drama Criminal Minds and the BBC America series Torchwood: Miracle Day, most recently.

What Happened To The Weatherman Jim Castillo -Is He Sick/Ill

Jim Castillo is being discussed on social media handles as the speculations of him leaving the network are circulating.

He is healthy and fit now, and the meteorologist has disclosed no news of him getting ill.

However, there is no confirmation of the news from both Jim and the network about his departure. Moreover, any information about his sickness or illness has also not been confirmed yet.

Castillo was the Saturday evening and 1 p.m. weather anchor at KTLA-TV in Los Angeles, California, a CW Television Network affiliate.

Jim is a member of SAG-AFTRA and has the Seal of Approval from the American Meteorological Society. Castillo also keeps his Facebook and Twitter pages up to date with weather reports from around the country.

Jim Castillo joined the weekend crew at KTLA, Los Angeles’ oldest television station, in June 2010 as the first-weekend meteorologist. He also hosted the weather on the weekly newscasts at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.

Castillo interned at KOMU, an NBC Network station in Columbia, Missouri. He eventually got his first on-air job as a weather anchor and host of a weekly exercise show.

Castillo began his career as a storm chaser in the Midwest and Texas, acquiring a National Weather Service storm chasing card.

At WTXF, the Fox Network station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the first meteorologist on “Good Day Philadelphia,” He also presented segments and conducted man-on-the-street interviews.
