Anti-Semitic graffiti has been found on a home in Sydney’s east and a synagogue in Sydney’s inner west overnight, with police investigating both incidents separately.

Officers were notified at about 6:30am today after graffiti containing anti-Semitic language was spray painted on a house on Henry Street, Queens Park.

At 7:30am, another set of graffiti which included swastikas painted on a synagogue on Georgina Street, Newtown, was brought to the attention of Inner West police offers.

The incidents follow a slew of anti-Semitic attacks in Sydney, including the vandalism of an Allawah synagogue yesterday involving graffiti of swastikas and references to Hitler, which is still currently under investigation.

Two unidentified culprits of yesterday’s graffiti were caught on CCTV footage, and Premier Chris Minns has denounced the offenders as “bastards that are determined to rip our community in two”.

In a separate incident, a police investigation into offensive comments written on a poster on Marrickville Road, Marrickville, has also started today.
