Now, Spencer has thought of yet another idea to support his family. And, it’s actually a pretty good one. In a TikTok, the reality TV star asked his followers to go on Hulu’s Instagram page and ask the streaming service to team up with the couple to launch their own TV show.
“Anyone that wants Heidi and I to get a reality show, just go comment on Hulu ‘s accounts. Hulu’s the only one that was interested in a Heidi and Spencer show. They technically have our show on hold … they haven’t passed on it for months now, so if you want a show, I’ll do whatever show people want,” Spencer told his TikTok followers.
In the same post, Spencer shared that he was open to any sort of reality TV show, including one that might showcase the couple rebuilding their home after the fires.
“You want us to go rebuild in a different state, everyone can vote what state, and we’ll go and move to that state and will do the show at that state. If you want us to go dig up our house and rebuild on our old dirt, do an improvement show right there, we’ll do that. I’ll do whatever show, but it’s Hulu.”
Spencer then asked his 1.8 million TikTok followers to “flood” Hulu’s Instagram page, and they did not disappoint.

A Heidi/Spencer Docuseries May Be In The Works
In an updated TikTok, Spencer shared good news. There just might be a reality show based on the reality TV couple. After his followers pleaded with Hulu to get a show based on their lives, it looked like Hulu and even other streaming platforms listened.
Spencer shared that after getting off the phone with his sister Stephanie Pratt, he had an update about a potential show.
“My older sister just called to check up on me and she was like, ‘How are ya?’ I was like, ‘Oh, sis, you just ruined my two minute TikTok updating about the future of the Heidi and Spencer docuseries ‘Building From the Ashes,’ I don’t know what the title is gonna be.”
He continued, “Let me tell you, shoutout Hulu, we love Hulu but guess what? There’s a lot of other amazing platforms that are now in play so just keep thinking positive thoughts, tagging your favorite streamer or networks because this is getting real out here and like I keep saying, it’s about to be the realest thing anybody’s ever watched.”
Spencer went on to state that his show would be extremely authentic and not scripted, comparing it to a show like Cops.
There has been a silver lining to the tragedy the couple have endured. Prior to news that they might just get a reality TV show, Heidi’s 2010 album, Superficial, topped the iTunes albums charts. Spencer had previously asked his followers to stream Heidi’s music to help support the celebs.
“Thank you for helping support us, helping build us back up, helping to encourage us, give us that hope and faith and excitement in such a dark, dark time,” Montag continued. “No. 1, ahhh! Oh my gosh, I can’t believe it. And it’s the 15th anniversary of Superficial. So, the timing is just crazy. It’s so crazy, thank you…” Spencer shared in a TikTok.
Celebrities like Emily Ratajkowski, Perez Hilton, Flavor Flav, and Jenny McCarthy have also shown their support by downloading the album.
