Christian McCaffrey, the talented running back for the 49ers, felt immense pride as he watched his wife, Olivia Culpo, host the Tubi Red Carpet at Super Bowl 2025.

The NFL back posted his admiration to his Instagram story while showing that he was tuning into the broadcast.

His first post was captioned: “So Proud And Can’t Wait!”

The post had also included a heart emoji and tagged Culpo.

In a second post, he took a video of Culpo during a segment she was doing during the program and wrote, “A Natural!”

McCaffrey was stuck watching this year’s Super Bowl from home this year after the 49ers missed out on the postseason.

The San Francisco team had a disappointing season in 2024 as they were eliminated from the playoffs before their Week 16 game against the Dolphins, breaking their streak of making it to the postseason since 2020.

McCaffrey had a challenging year in 2024, playing only four games due to a calf and Achilles injury that affected his performance throughout the season.

The running back and Culpo have been linked since 2019 and got married last summer in a ceremony in Rhode Island, where Culpo donned a custom Dolce & Gabbana wedding dress that created a stir due to her associated comments that appeared in a Vogue article about her dress.

“I didn’t want it to exude sex in any way, shape, or form,” Culpo told the outlet about the dress. “I wanted it to feel effortless and as if it’s complementing me, not overpowering me. There’s so much beauty and simplicity.”

Culpo was joined by media personality Rocsi Diaz, New Orleans Saints defensive end Cam Jordan, influencer Taylen Biggs and NFL Fashion Editor Kyle Smith, according to a press release.

“The TUBI RED CARPET AT SUPER BOWL LIX will also be packed with segments that bring the magic of New Orleans to life,” the release also said.

Culpo had made headlines earlier in the week when she appeared on Outkick’s “Hot Mic” podcast and invited President Donald Trump to the red carpet.

Trump became the first sitting United States President to attend the Super Bowl.

“Wouldn’t that be cool?” she said at the time. “If you’re watching this, please Donald Trump come see me at the Tubi red carpet at the Super Bowl.”
