Sister Wives stars Janelle Brown and Christine Brown created a strong bond during their marriages to Kody Brown, though they never discussed their sex lives with the patriarch when they were part of the same polygamous family.

“You’re not comparing notes. Everybody’s relationship is very separate,” Janelle, 55, said of their former family’s dynamic while appearing on the Monday, February 17, episode of Oliver Hudson and Kate Hudson’s “Sibling Revelry” podcast.

While Oliver, 48, was shocked by the revelation, Janelle insisted that they chose to keep their intimacy with Kody, 56, private out of “respect” for the “sanctity of that marriage.”

“Boundaries. You know what I mean?” Janelle continued, adding that they also didn’t discuss their sex lives on the show. “I didn’t feel like that was my business and I didn’t feel like it would be helpful to know. So I didn’t really care.”

Christine, 52, went on to note that she, Janelle, Meri Brown and Robyn Brown had “four separate marriages” with Kody that they chose to keep “separate.”

Despite not wanting to discuss their sex lives with each other, Janelle admitted that the former sister wives “might bitch about something Kody did.”

Christine reiterated the statement by adding, “There were definitely things that we would bitch out about.”

As fans of the longtime TLC show know, Christine was the first sister wife to leave Kody in November 2021. Janelle followed suit in December 2022, and Kody and Meri, 54, confirmed their split soon after in January 2023. In light of the splits, Robyn, 46, has remained Kody’s last wife.

Following her split from Kody, Christine found love with David Woolley and they tied the knot in October 2023.

Christine and David are going strong, though she currently had to shut down rumors that there was trouble in paradise. “When I read that David and I are not happy,” she wrote in a video posted via Instagram, which included clips and videos of her and David smiling and having fun together.

“I’m always surprised with what I read about myself!” the reality star captioned the post, referencing the marital woes rumors. ”Don’t you worry, we couldn’t be happier.”

Shortly after Christine uploaded the video, several fans rushed to the comments section to gush about how happy she and David, 61, seem. “You’ve truly never looked happier, a joy you couldn’t fake even if you tried! So happy for you,” one person wrote.

While Janelle has been by Christine’s side after they both left the businessman, she admitted that she had no interest in finding a new husband anytime soon.

“My marriage is over. I don’t know what I’m gonna do,” she said during another portion of the podcast interview. “I’m not really interested in getting married again or even really dating at this stage. So, I’m not even thinking about, like, ‘Oh, what do I need to do?’ Because I’m just like, I am over [it].”

The mother of six said that she’s “done” with dating and “love[s]” the single life, though she admitted she would “consider” dating someone new “if something presents itself in the future.”
