Selena Gomez is celebrating fiancé Benny Blanco’s birthday.

Gomez, 32, posted a series of photos of her and Blanco, 37, throughout their relationship via Instagram in honor of her fiancé’s birthday on Saturday, March 8. “I’m not sure what I did to deserve you but damn am I glad you were born.. happy birthday baby ♥️,” the singer captioned her post.

Among the photos Gomez shared included several cute selfies of her and Blanco, some snaps from a skiing trip, as well as a picture from their date night at the 2025 Oscars on Sunday, March 2.

Several people flocked to Gomez’s comments to wish Blanco a happy birthday, including Gomez’s Emilia Pérez costar Zoe Saldaña, who wrote, “Happy birthday @itsbennyblanco . May the universe continue to bless you both always.”

Gomez and Blanco attended the Oscars together on March 2, where Gomez was a presenter. Her film Emilia Pérez garnered 13 Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, Actress in a Leading Role for Karla Sofía Gascón, Actress in a Supporting Role for Saldaña, Best Cinematography, Best Directing, Best Film Editing, Best International Feature Film, Best Makeup and Hairstyling, Best Music (Original Score), Best Music (Original Song), Best Sound and Best Writing (Adapted Screenplay).

Blanco also attended the 2025 Golden Globe Awards with Gomez in January, where she was nominated for both Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture for Emilia Pérez and Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy for Only Murders in the Building.

Gomez and Blanco announced their engagement in December 2024. “Forever begins now,” Gomez captioned an Instagram post on Wednesday, December 11, that showed off her engagement ring. Blanco celebrated the milestone moment, writing in the comments section, “Hey wait… that’s my wife.”

The pair were friends and musical collaborators before they began dating in 2023. Gomez confirmed their relationship in December that year and noted the two had been dating for six months at the time.

The following month, a source exclusively told Us Weekly that Gomez had “never been with anyone like” Blanco.

“She loves how Benny treats her: he’s so kind and thoughtful,” the insider said in January. “It’s been a very long time since friends saw Selena this happy. She’s positively glowing.”

While speaking to Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe in February 2025, Gomez shared, “Without getting into too much detail, I think it’s just really important to meet someone that respects you. And I think it’s really nice to also lean on someone who understands the world that I live in.”
