Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover were some of Bravo’s best reality TV couples. After appearing on Winter House in 2021 and falling for each other, they soon appeared on each other’s respective TV shows, Summer House and Southern Charm. The collision of both worlds was everything a Bravo fan could ever want. It was like breaking the fourth wall without outright saying it.

However, between social media and two TV shows, fans slowly started seeing the cracks in their relationship. Simultaneously, their banter and connection were so entertaining that I didn’t want to face the truth: despite their amazing chemistry, Paige and Craig were heading in different directions. A breakup was so inevitable, that the couple spoke of its potential frequently. Now, Bravo fans still mourn the loss of this beloved couple after they called it quits towards the end of 2024.

Paige DeSorbo And Craig Conover Slowly Drifted Into Two Separate Directions

Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover were together for three years before calling it quits. The two started dating after getting to know each other better on Winter House and went long-distance throughout their relationship. With Paige living in New York City and Craig living in Charleston, the odds were already against them the busier they became.

One of the biggest red flags about their long-distance relationship was that no one was seriously willing to move for the other. While Paige agreed to move to Charleston when the two were ready to settle down, per Bravo, that idea faded away the busier and more popular Paige’s career became.

Craig said on an episode of Watch What Happens Live (via Decider) that he was going to move to New York to prove how serious he was about their relationship, but she, unfortunately, broke up with him before that became a reality.

Before their breakup, Craig said on an episode of Summer House that a breakup between the pair was “probable.” Despite planning a future together, Craig wasn’t blind to the fact that they had hurdles to overcome.

Craig and Paige were going in two different directions, as hard as it was to admit.

• Craig wanted to settle down and have kids, but Paige clarified that she was not ready for that stage.
• Paige loved New York City and didn’t see herself living in the South.
• Craig’s business ventures are based in Charleston and Nashville, making the move to New York City hard to justify.
• Paige’s podcast, Giggly Squad, became popular and went on tour, creating more distance between the two.
• Craig renovated his home with Paige in mind while Paige found a new, lavish apartment for herself in the city, as shown by Bravo.

The Breakup

In a December 2024 episode of Paige’s podcast, Giggly Squad, she shared that she and Craig broke up before the holidays. “Craig and I have decided to no longer be together,” she started. “As you get older, I mean, I started dating Craig when I was 29 and I’m 32 now. And your 30s for women really are transformative. And you change a lot and you grow a lot. And him as well.”

She continued that they still loved each other but wanted different things. A few days later, Craig released his own video debunking some of Paige’s comments. One of the most shocking was that the breakup wasn’t mutual as Paige insinuated. Later, on an episode of Watch What Happens Live, Craig made it clear that he did not want to break up with Paige.

“She was like, ‘Look, I love you, but I love myself more and I have to go do this and find myself,'” he shared, according to Decider.

Between different cities and busy careers, Paige and Craig were doomed from the start.

Paige DeSorbo And Craig Conover Couldn’t Agree On Their Future Timeline

Considering Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover broke up towards the end of 2024, Season 9 of Summer House (Paige’s show) and Season 10 of Southern Charm (Craig’s show) were going to be telling about the final state of their relationship.

Southern Charm: Season 10

In Season 10 of Southern Charm, Craig admitted to his friend and castmate, Austen Kroll, that he had a drinking problem and the one person who saved him from his daemons was Paige. To prove how serious he was about her, he stopped drinking and focused on his business to prepare for their future. He later froze his sperm when she said she needed more time before having kids. Unfortunately, waiting longer to have kids or marrying someone who traveled so much for work wasn’t the future he envisioned.

“The version of life that I saw myself living isn’t what I’m living, which is this stable home that I grew up with,” he shared in a confessional according to US Weekly. “Every night at dinner, my mom and dad were there with my brother. I just loved that.”

The two later bickered over Paige’s career and how Craig wouldn’t be able to sustain a happy marriage if they continued on that trajectory. It was clear by these conversations that they weren’t going the distance unless one made a significant change.

Summer House Season 9

Likewise, Season 9 of Summer House showed how much Paige had changed. According to Bravo, Paige said in a confessional that she “felt bad” for Craig.

“I’m busier. I’m not around as much. I’ve changed my mind on a lot of things, like marriage, and moving, and a baby. I’m not going to apologize that, like, my life got busier and I think differently on certain topics, but also I’m trying to recognize that I changed a lot.”

She and castmate Kyle Cooke also argued over Craig’s business deals and aggressive personality. A rift between her boyfriend and best friend’s husband put Paige in an uncomfortable situation.

Between both seasons, I now finally saw what broke the camel’s back. As hard as it is for the fandom to grasp that their favorite couple is no more, Paige did the right thing. Craig wanted marriage and children sooner than Paige. She also didn’t see her future in South Carolina. Those large differences in life are enough to end a relationship when you’re in your 30’s.

While it’s been rumored that Paige has already moved on with a new man, she said in a February 2025 podcast that she’s “single” and does “not have a boyfriend,” per Bravo.
