MAHOMET, Ill. (WCIA) — Mahomet’s sixth annual Soda Fest is quickly approaching, and organizers said a variety of drinks — from the usual favorites to unique flavors you won’t find anywhere else — will be available for attendees to try.
Soda Fest will take place June 14 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. in downtown Mahomet. The Mahomet Area Chamber of Commerce said the event will feature over 100 different sodas from across the country, along with good music, food, and activities for the entire family to enjoy.
Lexi Tieffel will kick off the musical performances for Soda Fest. She’s scheduled to perform from 12-1 p.m. Hometown will follow from 1-3 p.m. and Caleb Cook Band is slated to perform from 3-5 p.m. Organizers also said attendees can expect to see multiple food trucks, including Patty Daddy’s, Watson Chicken, The Main Scoop, Ice Daddy’s, and Brien’s Bistro at Soda Fest.
The event is free to attend. Officials said tasting tickets are available for purchase at Soda Fest and online.
