The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office says all parties involved in the incident are “believed to be accounted for.”
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two men died early Saturday morning after being found shot in a shopping plaza on Baymeadows Road in Jacksonville, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
JSO Sgt. Robbie Henson said at 3:20 a.m., patrol officers responded to the shopping plaza located in the 9500 block of Baymeadows Road in reference to a shooting.
Henson said when officers arrived at the scene, the men were both found with multiple gunshot wounds.
Members of the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department then responded to the scene and performed “life-saving measures,” but were unsuccessful, according to Henson.
“At this time, all parties involved in this incident are believed to be accounted for,” Henson said.
Henson further told First Coast News that “the circumstances of the incident or the relationships of those involved” is currently unknown.
