Amid the press cycle for the new film F1, Brad Pitt’s skincare line, Beau Domaine, has received increased attention. Pitt is 61, and a number of sources are crediting Beau Domaine for his youthful appearance. Many people have criticized this coverage, saying that skin serums alone are likely not responsible for Pitt’s appearance. Others have found the positive coverage of Pitt’s appearance and brand frustrating after allegations that he physically and verbally abused his family.

Brad Pitt launched a skincare line

Pitt launched Beau Domaine in 2022. It is a skincare line derived from antioxidant-rich grapes from Miraval wine vineyards. While many have described the products as “Brad Pitt’s skincare line,” he said he does not want people to view it as a celebrity brand.

“I’m not the face of this line,” he said, per Variety. “I don’t want to be selling something. It’s not about a celebrity brand. It’s about the land, the science and the people behind it.”

Still, the site offers the opportunity to buy “Brad’s Complete Routine,” a package that includes cleanser, anti-aging serum, and moisturizing cream. It retails for $251.

People are not happy with the reports about Brad Pitt’s skincare line

Given that many celebrities are cagey about the work they’ve had done, a number of people outright disbelieve claims that the skincare line is solely responsible for Pitt’s appearance. 

“Trust me, normies, it’s this magic cream, and not copious amounts of plastic surgeries, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and such!” wrote one commenter on X (formerly Twitter).

Many people have expressed a belief that Pitt got a facelift. The actor has not addressed the speculation that he got a facelift.

“‘He’s bottling the secret,’” mocked one commenter. “The secret is money and face lifts.”

Others don’t think Pitt looks particularly good. Many Reddit users have pointed to a GQ cover shoot from 2022, in which they believe Pitt’s taut skin looks uncanny.

“Weird how the rich folks who always think they are ‘aging in reverse’ just look wildly off,” wrote one person. “Like, uncanny valley. No thanks.”

Many people have brought up the allegations of domestic violence against him

A significant number of people have also expressed frustration that sources are covering Pitt’s skincare routine after the allegations of domestic violence made against him. In 2022, his ex-wife, Angelina Jolie, filed a complaint against him detailing an alleged physical and verbal attack that he made against her and their children while on a plane.

The FBI looked into the incident, but did not pursue criminal charges. Jolie filed for divorce shortly afterward, and his children have reportedly distanced themselves from him.

Many commenters have expressed their belief in Jolie’s account. They’ve said they could never support Pitt’s ventures after hearing the allegations.
