REPORT: Shannon Beador Gave 'Ultimatum' She’d Not Return to RHOC If Alexis Came Back and Blamed Her for Treating Crew Poorly

Is Shannon Beador the reason why Alexis Bellino wasn’t included in The Real Housewives of Orange County season 19?

Following their messy season 18 feud, which was based primarily around Alexis’ romance with Shannon’s ex-boyfriend, John Janssen, 62, and the $75,000 facelift lawsuit he filed against her, Shannon, 61, is being accused of giving producers an ultimatum about her return ahead of production on the currently airing season.

“Shannon gave an ultimatum that she would absolutely not return if Alexis came back,” an insider told OK! Magazine on July 29.

Amid season 18, which included Shannon being taunted by Alexis, 48, with the potential release of compromising footage taken on John’s home security devices from the night of her DUI arrest, Shannon allegedly began acting out behind the scenes. In fact, as the source shared, many felt that the season would be her “last” due to her “bad treatment of the crew.”

“She used the excuse that her behavior was caused by what the show was putting her through by bringing Alexis back,” the insider explained. “[But] despite Shannon succeeding in getting Alexis booted off the show, her behavior has not changed.”

As RHOC fans will recall, Alexis confirmed she was not asked back for season 19 on the Going Rogue podcast in December 2024.

“I am not asked back next season. I am not asked back,” Alexis shared at the time. “[I got] a phone call, which, and I have a very good relationship with him, [producer] Alex Baskin, obviously, he’s my boss, and it was a hard conversation, [But] I can’t say it came as a shock … because what are they gonna do? I didn’t know … how do I fit in?”

While Alexis did not film for the new season, she has been mentioned on the show quite a bit and has maintained friendships with some of its cast members.

“I am very good friends with [Katie Ginella] and [Jennifer Pedranti] still, [and] I’m working through it with [Heather Dubrow] and [Tamra Judge]. I still thought there might be a way they [could] make it work for everybody to come back,” she reasoned. “But you know, the cards played the way they did, and how do they bring someone back who is not a fan favorite vs. the fan favorite?”

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 19 airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
