Former New York Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau has been making the rounds at various NBA team practices, and on Monday, he made a notable appearance with the Boston Celtics, a team known for its rivalry with the Knicks.
Celtics star Jaylen Brown expressed enthusiasm about Thibodeau’s visit. “Having Thibs here was incredible. They knocked us out of the playoffs last year,” Brown shared with reporters. “So, to have him offer insights on what he observed during that series, breaking down our personnel and team strategies, is invaluable for our growth and learning.”

Brown continued, “Thibs explaining what they identified to beat us helps me improve, and it benefits the whole team. I really appreciate that.”
Meanwhile, Knicks center Mitchell Robinson found humor in the situation. He shared a video clip of Brown discussing Thibodeau’s visit on Instagram, captioning it, “Bruhhh, I’m f—n crying, this is the best thing I’ve seen all day.”
He reposted a video of Brown talking about the visit on Instagram and wrote: “bruhhh I’m f—n crying this is the best thing I saw all day.”

The post was preceded by six laughing face emojis.
The Knicks defeated the Celtics in six games during their Eastern Conference semifinal series last season before Tom Thibodeau was fired after he failed to get the team to the NBA Finals.
