High school students in Vermilion County took a break from their traditional classroom environment on Wednesday to immerse themselves in a unique educational experience across Danville.

The occasion was the annual Tour of Industries, a program designed to expose students to a wide array of career paths they might not ordinarily consider. This initiative aims to broaden their horizons beyond the conventional academic setting.

Originally, this tour focused exclusively on manufacturing-related fields. However, it has since expanded to include insights into the healthcare sector, public safety careers, manufacturing, and entrepreneurial ventures, offering students a more comprehensive look at potential futures.
