Katie Ginella stirred speculation about her future on “Real Housewives of Orange County” after sharing a reunion photo on Instagram. Known for her sharp commentary, Katie, 41, who became a part of the Bravo hit in 2024 during its 18th season, seemed to take a subtle jab at co-star Gretchen Rossi, 47. The way she cropped the photo, along with her series of comments, fueled talk that she might be considering a departure from the reality series as she hinted at moving on.
In her post, Katie wrote, “Season 19 tried, but I’m still standing. Here’s to moving forward and leaving the past in the past,” which only added to the speculation due to its ambiguous tone.
The cryptic message quickly garnered attention, with followers flooding her comments, eager to know what lies ahead for her on the show.

Due to the cryptic nature of her caption, Katie’s post was met with inquiries.
“Are you coming back?” one person asked.
“We will all find out soon,” Katie teased.
Another person noticed that she’d cropped Gretchen out of the group image.
“I love that you cropped this,” they wrote.
“Allies only,” Katie explained.

“Does that mean you’re done with the show?” someone else wondered.
“No,” Katie confirmed.
Then, another person asked, “No Gretchen?” Katie replied, “Who?”

As RHOC fans will recall, Katie and Gretchen suffered a falling out amid season 19 after Katie claimed Gretchen had alleged that she’d been roofied amid her “naked wasted” drama with Tamra Judge, 58, during season four.
While Katie suggested that Gretchen had relayed the information to her and claimed to have been hospitalized, Gretchen denied any such thing, and Katie ultimately failed a lie detector test that questioned her about what she’d been told.
Since then, questions have been raised about the legitimacy of the lie detector test.
No word yet on when filming on the upcoming 20th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County will begin.
