In Central Illinois, the price of ethanol-based gasoline has dipped below $3, a trend largely attributed to the efforts of local farmers.

For over four decades, farmers have dedicated themselves to advancing corn-based ethanol, significantly contributing to the reduction in gasoline prices. Last week, Stu Ellis had a conversation with Emily Skor, the CEO of Growth Energy, a leading biofuels advocacy organization, to discuss what the agricultural sector requires from federal authorities in Washington.
