As the final moments ticked away in the Big Ten championship at Lucas Oil Stadium, the atmosphere was thick with tension. Ohio State’s kicker, Jayden Fielding, missed a crucial 27-yard field goal with under three minutes remaining, which would have leveled the score at 13.

Ultimately, what was an impressive 15-play, 81-yard drive ended in disappointment when the kick veered left, allowing Indiana to secure a 13-10 triumph. This victory effectively solidified Indiana’s position as the top seed in the College Football Playoff.
