ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (WFLA) — Over the weekend, deputies from various law enforcement agencies, spearheaded by the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, joined forces in a DUI Wolf Pack operation.
This coordinated effort aimed to crack down on impaired drivers traversing Pinellas County roads. The primary goal was to highlight the grave risks associated with driving under the influence and to curtail the incidence of traffic-related fatalities, injuries, and property damage.
The operation saw participation from several agencies, including the Florida Highway Patrol, along with police departments from Kenneth City, Largo, Gulfport, St. Petersburg, Tarpon Springs, Treasure Island, and Clearwater.

The weekend initiative resulted in 36 criminal charges being filed, which included 16 arrests for DUI and 10 charges for various misdemeanors.
In addition to these charges, law enforcement issued a total of 233 citations. Among these were 90 speeding tickets and 58 citations for non-moving violations.
This operation was dedicated to the memory of Marion Miller who was killed by an impaired driver in Dunedin on April 5, 2023.
The driver was under the influence of both alcohol and marijuana.
