The eagerly awaited continuation of “Stranger Things” is about to make its grand arrival, offering fans a festive treat just in time for the holidays. This week, Netflix will release the next installment of episodes from the series’ climactic final season.

Fans can look forward to Episodes 5, 6, and 7 hitting the streaming platform on Christmas Day, as the fifth and concluding season of this beloved show unfolds further. These new episodes will pick up the thrilling narrative where it left off following the initial four episodes, which premiered on November 26.

In the suspense-filled town of Hawkins, viewers last saw the sinister Vecna advancing his malevolent scheme, Demogorgons wreaking havoc, and Will Byers beginning to harness his burgeoning powers. This latest trio of episodes is set to pave the way for the highly anticipated series finale, scheduled to be released on New Year’s Eve.

Mark your calendars, as the next volume of this eight-part season is set to be available on December 25 at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT), promising to deliver more of the electrifying drama and supernatural intrigue that fans have come to love.

What time does “Stranger Things” Season 5 Vol. 2 come out?

The second volume of the eight-episode season drops Dec. 25 at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT). 

On Monday, the Duffer Brothers shared the final runtimes for the last half of the final season. 

Here’s the breakdown of the episodes dropping on Christmas Day: 

  • Episode 5 “Shock Jock”: 1hr 8min
  • Episode 6 “Escape From Camazotz”: 1hr 15min
  • Episode 7 “The Bridge”: 1hr 6min

When is the “Stranger Things” finale?

The series finale arrives on New Year’s Eve on Dec. 31. 

For the first time ever, fans have multiple options to experience the series finale. The final episode, titled “The Rightside Up,” will premiere simultaneously on Netflix and in more than 350 theaters across the United States and Canada on Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, with screenings continuing through Jan. 1, 2026. The series finale runs about 2 hours and eight minutes, according to the Duffer Brothers, who created the show.
