Dylan Allen Sangricco, a 27-year-old resident of Riviera Beach, found himself in legal trouble yesterday after being arrested in Gainesville, Fla. He faces charges related to the alleged stalking of a healthcare provider from Shands, who had treated him in south Florida.
The victim, whose identity remains confidential, recounted to the University of Florida Police Department that Sangricco had been a patient of hers several years ago. Initially, she had shared her phone number with him to assist with his medical procedure, but over time, his attempts to maintain contact became invasive. Despite her clear requests for him to stop contacting her, Sangricco persisted, leading to his being banned from her south Florida practice due to inappropriate behavior. Unfortunately, the unwanted communications did not cease when she relocated to Gainesville.
The situation escalated on December 24, when Sangricco reportedly appeared at Shands, declaring to a witness that his sole purpose was to see the victim and ask her out on a date. This incident was not isolated; the victim revealed that she has accumulated numerous voicemails from Sangricco over the years. Each voicemail, originating from various phone numbers, contained pleas for a date, all unmistakably in his voice. Despite blocking his number, Sangricco allegedly continued his efforts, even resorting to making calls from jail.
The victim said Sangricco showed up at Shands on December 24 and told a witness that he was only there to see the victim and ask her out on a date.
The victim said she has numerous voicemails from Sangricco, from many phone numbers, asking her to go on a date with him. She said she recognized his voice and confirmed that he was the caller in each instance. She said she had blocked his number, but he called from other numbers, including from jail.
Sangricco, whose listed address is in Riviera Beach, has been charged with simple stalking. He has an extensive criminal history in Palm Beach County and recently served 364 days in the Palm Beach County Jail on three felony cases. He was arrested in October 2025 in Miami-Dade County for battery on specified personnel and resisting an officer without violence; on December 1, he was sentenced to 30 days of probation, but he was granted early termination of probation on December 2. His full criminal history and bail information are currently unavailable.
