Emma Munro has stirred up some intrigue by revealing that a contestant from the upcoming Love Island All Stars edition reached out to her for a date just days before he was scheduled to join the show in South Africa.

The 30-year-old, who was a contestant herself on Love Island in 2025, took to TikTok to share this juicy tidbit. In her post on Saturday, Emma called out Charlie Frederick, one of the new faces of the show, by sharing a snapshot of the current cast alongside a brief glimpse of their Instagram exchanges.

In her TikTok video, Emma commented, “Sorry, one of these men asked me on a date two weeks ago,” pointing to the unexpected romantic overture.

The former 2025 Islander, 30, took to TikTok on Saturday to expose Charlie Frederick as she uploaded a picture of the new cast and then called him out in a quick flash of their Instagram messages.

She said: ‘Sorry, one of these men asked me on a date two weeks ago.

‘What do you mean can I take you on a date a week before you are jetting off to South Africa?’

She continued: ‘I actually have no words at this point. There is always the option to leave me alone.

‘Anyway it doesn’t matter, I don’t care. Have the screenshots its no f****** skin off my back.’

The reality star then went on to share her messages with Charlie, 31, who said ‘well let’s go on a date then’, to which she replied with a post sharing that the ITV star was set to join the All Stars cast.

Emma continued in her clip: ‘Honestly, you wonder why I’m a bit woo woo. I have to deal with the most menacing men to ever exist.’

Charlie, who is a professional model, became famous on the fourth series of the hit ITV show.

Meanwhile Emma may have found new love since leaving the villa with a man she has dubbed as ‘story boy’.

Documenting their dates on TikTok, fans have noticed he looks strikingly similar to her ex and former Love Island co-star, Harry Cooksley.

The handsome mystery man sports tattoos and a a brunette mullet hairstyle – similar to Harry’s.

In a video of the couple attending a football match, one said: ‘He looks a little like Harry, girl you defo have a type.’

Another wrote: ‘Harry part wo’, and a third joked, ‘she made him get the hair cut.’

It comes as filming for the new series had been due to kick off at the weekend, but plans have been pushed back after wildfires raged in areas close to the villa

While ITV announced over the weekend that the launch had been postponed, a statement shared on Instagram on Monday night said they were still waiting to confirm the new return date.

It comes following reports that bosses hope to kickstart filming for the new series on Wednesday, but an air date is still yet to be decided.

The statement read: ‘Just a reminder that the Love Island launch show has been delayed due to wild fires near the villa in South Africa.

‘Everyone is safe though and we’re working on bringing you an iconic series, so keep an eye on our socials and we’ll let you know the new launch date as soon as we can.’
