CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — Dog enthusiasts in Champaign have an exciting new event to look forward to, courtesy of the Champaign Park District.
Mark your calendars for the inaugural Lucky Dog 5K, scheduled for Saturday, March 14, at 9:30 a.m. This event will unfold at the scenic Heritage Park and is open to runners, walkers, and their furry companions of all ages. Participants can choose from three registration categories: a 5K run/walk with a dog, a 5K run/walk without a dog, or a leisurely 1/2-mile stroll alongside a canine friend.
