SAVANNAH, Ga. () — As the week kicks off, temperatures are set to rise before a shift towards more dynamic weather later on.
Sunday morning greeted residents with freezing conditions, but the ample sunshine helped elevate temperatures into the 50s by afternoon. The night leading into Monday will be milder, as cloud cover prevents temperatures from dropping too low.
Although Monday morning remains brisk with lows in the 30s, clearing skies will allow temperatures to climb into the 60s, signaling the beginning of a warmer period for the region.
On Tuesday, abundant sunshine will push highs into the 70s. Overnight temperatures are also expected to be warmer than usual, ranging from the 40s to 50s as we head into midweek.

As the week progresses, a more dynamic weather pattern will emerge, persisting into the weekend. Wednesday may see isolated showers as a cold front makes its way through the area.
Thursday will have the opportunity for a few passing showers. Temperatures will drop to seasonal normals with mornings in the 40s and afternoons in the 60s.
An upper-level disturbance moves into the region to end the week, bringing isolated to scattered showers from Friday through next weekend. The final piece of it will be a cold front moving through the area late next weekend.
