Authorities from the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office have reported that a tragic incident took place Thursday night, resulting in the death of a woman who was riding an electric scooter along Jammes Road.
In Jacksonville, Florida, a fatal hit-and-run accident claimed the life of a woman on an electric scooter, as confirmed by the local sheriff’s office.
According to JSO, the collision happened at approximately 9:20 p.m. in the 6300 block of Jammes Road. The victim was traveling south on her e-scooter when a vehicle, also heading south, struck her.
The driver involved failed to stop and left the scene without offering assistance. Sadly, the woman was declared dead at the location of the accident.
