On February 13, 2026, Kelly Rowland made a notable appearance at the Baby2Baby NBA Cares All-Star Day of Service in Los Angeles, California.

The acclaimed singer, accompanied by her sons, Noah and Titan, joined forces with over 500 dedicated volunteers. Together, they lent their support to families in need, particularly those who suffered losses during the devastating 2025 wildfires.

In collaboration with the LA Clippers, Comcast NBCUniversal, Nike, and Habitat for Humanity, the volunteers engaged in meaningful activities, including constructing wall-frame home structures. They also packed essential supplies for students, mothers, and infants who were affected by the Los Angeles fires.

The appearance comes as Rowland promotes Relationship Goals, the new Amazon Prime film she both stars in and produced. During a recent stop on House Guest with Scott Evans, she reflected on motherhood and the loss of her own mother.

When asked about her thoughts on motherhood, she said, “I’m a student. I’m just learning something every day. Whether it’s from them or about myself or what it takes…..”

She continued, “When I lost my mom, it was actually kind of a beautiful thing because here I am greeting birth to a baby [and] to motherhood, and then a couple weeks passed and I’m greeting death. I just couldn’t believe the time span. And I saw the beauty in both. But it was so strange to me that as I became a mother, I was losing mine.”

She said the experience made her think about how fleeting life was.

“So, it made me think about one, how I wanted to just be healthier because I lost my mom to a heart condition. It made me think about what kind of mother I wanted to be. Am I gonna be super strict? Am I going to be a conscious parent, gentle parent, or this kind of parent? It was all these different things that I thought about, but it just made me want to be present because it made me realize that your time here on earth is really and truly a vapor.”
