House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has intensified his probe into the Jeffrey Epstein case by seeking interviews with seven additional individuals.

Among those Comer is requesting to interview are billionaire Bill Gates, attorney Kathryn Ruemmler, financier Leon Black, Lesley Groff, Sarah Kellen, Ted Waitt, and Doug Band.

Kathryn Ruemmler, once served as White House counsel under President Obama. Leon Black, a billionaire, was previously named by the FBI as a co-conspirator in the Epstein investigation, though he was never charged.

These requests from Comer align with recent developments in the case, following revelations about a woman who acted as a primary informant to the FBI concerning Epstein’s sex trafficking activities. According to a member of Congress who reviewed unredacted files, this informant approached the FBI after reportedly being trafficked to several of Epstein’s associates.

Ruemmler is an attorney and was at one point White House counsel when President Obama was in office. Black is a billionaire whom the FBI had identified as a co-conspirator to Epstein at one point, although no charges were ever filed.

Comer’s requests come a month after learned a woman was a primary informant to the FBI about Epstein’s sex trafficking ring. She went to the FBI after she was allegedly trafficked to several of Epstein’s friends, a member of Congress who has seen the relevant files unredacted told .

The alleged survivor’s redacted claims appear in a slideshow the FBI created as part of its investigations into three men: Black, Alan Dershowitz and Harvey Weinstein.

Comer and the Oversight Committee also announced Tuesday that Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick will testify in a congressional hearing about his ties to Epstein.

Lutnick voluntarily agreed to appear before the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, according to Comer.
