Hailing from Ohio, Beth founded The Tennis Hog Shop in Arkansas and was deeply involved in charitable work, often contributing anonymously. In recognition of her generosity towards student-athletes, she received an honorary Monogram from Notre Dame. Together with Lou, she co-founded the Holtz Family Foundation.

Louis Leo “Skip” Holtz Jr. is perhaps the most well-known of the Holtz children, having carved out a successful career in football coaching much like his father. Skip has made significant impacts with teams such as Louisiana Tech and recently gained recognition in spring football.

A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Kevin lives in Port Orange, Florida, with his wife, Kelly. When Lou Holtz entered hospice care in early 2026, it was Kevin who made the official statement requesting privacy, emphasizing the family’s commitment to making “every moment and day count” for their father.
Luanne Altenbaumer: Lou Holtz’s Eldest Daughter
